Jimin blinked....not understanding why that was important now...and the doubt was soon cleared as Taehyung explained the rest

Four years ago on Taehyung's birthday

' Why do you look so constipated?' Taehyung laughed looking at Yoongi who really did look like that as he entered his apartment

' Shut up kid' Yoongi rolled his eyes walking towards the kitchen taking out a bottle of cold water

' Hyung' Taehyung called ' You can tell me anything you know....we do share everything... right?'

' We do' Yoongi nodded keeping the bottle back

' What's wrong?' Taehyung asked softly

' Jimin is coming back today... might have already reached home by now'

' What?' Taehyung yelled making Yoongi look at him baffled ' What are you doing here then? Hyung he came back after so many years and you are still here?? ' Tae..I can't leave now....Kook had asked me to take you to Joon's now-'

Yoongi smiled wide as he hugged the younger...' Stay safe....Don't get into trouble just because I left you for sometime'

' Yaa! You are talking as if I always get into trouble' Taehyung pouted.. which turned into a smirk ' Don't miss the dinner just because you got to eat someone else!'

He took his phone dialing in his number which Namjoon was soon to answer.

' Hello Tae'

' Hyung..I wanted to ask if you'd come and-'

' Am already on my way Tae' Namjoon chuckled 'Yoongi knew that you'd forget to call me..so he already informed me that something came up and he had to leave for sometime...and since it seems like a storm is coming Jin also decided to tag along...so we are on our way already'

' Oh.. that's nice' Taehyung giggled ' See you soon then'

He smiled keeping the phone back... turning towards the mirror again when the door bell rang They reached this fast? Taehyung thought walking towards the door with a wide smile which fell the instant he opened the door...his heart beats picking up as his breath heaved seeing the person standing in front of him..bathed in blood

' Sohyun noona?' Taehyung somehow spoke up ' W-what happened to you...noona..you-'

' Taehyung' Sohyun breathed out stumbling forward... Even though Taehyung was quick to catch her...his whole body froze when he heard a small whimper...

He quickly pulled back and that's when he saw blue bundle Sohyun had held close to her chest

' Tae' Her voice came out to be laboured as she slowly extended her arms.... Taehyung's eyes widening as he looked at the small baby wrapped in a blue sheet staring at him.... ' Please-'

' Noona' Taehyung called alarmed as she fell on her knees...the child still in her arms

Sohyun slid down the wall..her hands now clutching onto the wound on the side of her abdomen through which oozed out blood

Namjoon's shouts made Jin turn around quickly only to see Namjoon crying holding onto the body

' J-joon?'

' Jinnie....my Sohyun noona...she-' Namjoon stopped when his eyes fell on the letter in Taehyung's hand... He crawled towards him... taking the letter reading it

Taehyung was still frozen at his place as Namjoon and Jin somehow took Sohyun's body down...

' Go back to Tae.... clean off the blood.... I'll take them' Jin looked one final time at Namjoon before getting into the car...his one arm securely around the baby and the other on the steering as he drove off

Namjoon ran back in...only to see Taehyung still staring at the blood...

' Tae' He hugged the boy tightly... rubbing his back...his own tears threatening to leave his eyes ' Taehyung ah...change your clothes.... let's go in yeah?'

Namjoon held his hand.. making him stand up before taking him to his room... He rushed back out with a cloth and water to clean off the blood....

Namjoon had finished cleaning off everything and was in the bathroom... turning around after throwing off the water when a startled cry left him...with a hand over his chest seeing Taehyung standing at the door with his bloodied clothes still on....his eyes all red and face wet with tears

' Tae-'

' I want to kill him' Taehyung breathed out ' Jeon Junho must die!..I will kill him'

Namjoon felt a chill run down him...for a moment he literally felt scared of the younger's cold voice but was quick to brush it off moving towards him Get a hold of yourself Namjoon!

' Tae baby' Namjoon called softly..his heart warming remembering how he used to call him like that when they were young ' We will get cleaned up First yeah?'

Taehyung didn't reply..he just silently nodded as he let Namjoon do whatever he wanted....

Namjoon took him to his room... taking out a fresh pair of clothes from his wardrobe.. keeping it on the bed...' Shall I change it for you like how I used to do when we were young? Or will you do it Taetae?'

Taehyung blinked looking at Namjoon...the coldness in his bambi eyes replaced with a childish innocence 'Need hyungie'

A sob almost left Namjoon as he bit his lips hard as he remembered all the time he spent with Tae and Sohyun when they were kids 'Hyungie will do'

Namjoon helped Taehyung get out of the bloodied shirt dropping it to the floor...when a small whimper left Taehyung

' Noona' Taehyung whimpered as thick fat tears left his eyes ' Hyungie my noona'

Namjoon too left his emotions free as he pulled the younger into his arms burying his head into the crying boys neck... trying to control his own tears when he heard some rushed footsteps followed by a hand on his elbow pulling him away from Taehyung

' What happened here?'

' Yoongi' Namjoon didn't expect him to come now...he almost broke down again but stilled when he saw the way Yoongi was looking at both him and Taehyung and that's when he realized that Taehyung was half naked

' Yoongi' Namjoon panicked... thinking that Yoongi will misunderstand the situation but what he didn't know was that the day when Yoongi asked about his relationship with Namjoon Taehyung had let him know that they were actually brothers

Yoongi ignored his call as he took the shirt from the bed handing it over to Taehyung who still had his head hung low ' Come with me Taehyung'

' Yoongi listen-'

'Stay here' Yoongi looked at Namjoon before going out with Taehyung who was now dressed

The moment they both were out of the apartment Taehyung threw himself at Yoongi crying his eyes out

' Taehyung ah... just tell hyung what's wrong' Yoongi said totally worried seeing the younger's state ' Tae... why was the whole apartment smelling of something sickening.... like the stink of blood? Why is your body stained red?'

' H-hyungie...my' Taehyung hiccuped between his cries ' Hyung he killed my Noona...'

Yoongi froze ' What?'

Taehyung pulled back....' Sohyun noona...was in love with Jaewook hyung' He proceeded to tell everything that happened in the last one hour and the more Yoongi heard the more worried he became

' Taehyung ah...' Yoongi called... feeling unusually scared ' When we were at Jin hyung's place... Jungkook got a call from Junho... but that came from Jaewook hyung's phone...that means-'

Taehyung saw the man attending the call..his face going pale by the second

'Who was it? What's wrong hyung?' Taehyung was now shaking in fear

' Appa called....Jaewook hyung...is dead' Yoongi revealed...his heart beating at a rapid pace ' Taehyung we hid something from you'

' Junho had already found out about you...Remember the day when Jungkook came to you totally wounded after his talk with Junho...he got beaten up by his dad because he asked Kook to leave you...and you know how he would have reacted....'

' Why are you telling me this now?' Taehyung started crying again ' Please tell me my Jungkook is safe'

' He was shot' There...Yoongi dropped the bomb 'I don't know about the entire thing...but Junho warned him to leave you...and now Kook in a hospital...'

Taehyung stumbled back on to the wall...his head spinning.... The same day he was on cloud nine... living his best life and in a blink of an eye his whole world flipped...

' Tae' Yoongi was getting worried seeing Taehyung's state... ' We will keep you safe.. you don't ha-'

' Am breaking up with Jungkook' Taehyung raised his head looking at Yoongi who was shocked to the core 'I don't mind dying hyung but Jungkook doesn't deserve such a fate'

' The fuck are you saying!'

' Listen to me Hyung' Taehyung held his hand ' As far as I know Junho..he will do anything in his power to make sure his name is not spoilt and for that he won't hesitate harming anyone who is an obstacle..even if it's his own son... Junho's men will definitely search for noona and the baby...and now it's my responsibility to take care of the child...Noona had trusted me with her responsibility'

' We can take care of her together Tae-'

' I have to make sure that both the child and my Jungkook is alive' Taehyung was speaking as if he was planning everything in his head while talking ' If I tell Jungkook that I want to break up....he won't believe me... You need to help me in this hyung'

' Am doing no such thing' Yoongi denied ' I won't help you for anything like this....Tae we can find a way out...you have me..Jin hyung..your Namjoon hyung...and Jimin came back today...Hobi will be back in a week..we all are enough to protect you..Kook and the baby'

' I can't risk anything ' Taehyung said determined 'Its upto you hyung.... you can decide if you want to help or not... but I have decided...'

' Taehyung ah' Yoongi called helplessly ' You both are too in love to do this..'

' I just need him to be free from any danger'

' Do you think he will be able to bear it?' ' I will die the moment I end everything with him hyung.....but I will some how survive just by seeing him safe in front of me' Taehyung smiled sadly 'Please help me Yoongi hyung.... You promised to always be there for me whenever I need you'

Yoongi stared at the younger before wiping his tears away ' What do you want me to do?'

' Tell Jungkook that you saw me with Joon hyung'

' Saw you with him?' Yoongi blinked not exactly understanding the meaning

' Hyung....tell him that I cheated on him with Namjoon hyung'

' Taehyung are you fucking crazy!!' Yoongi yelled 'He is your brother for fucks sake'

' Jungkook had always been restless whenever was with Joon hyung...even though he never voiced it out..he knows that there is a past of mine that he is unaware of and he will trust this easily when you tell him that you saw me in an uncompromisingly situation with Namjoon hyung'

' What if he won't trust me?' Yoongi asked

' He will....he is not in a state to think straight now'

Yoongi just scoffed ' What will you tell Namjoon? Will he agree for this shit show?'

' He doesn't need to know' Taehyung said ' He still doesn't know that I told you my past...so earlier when you saw us in..he would have been scared thinking you misunderstood us....so just play along'

' Am telling you again Taehyung ah.. we can find a way out of this mess-'

' It's not a mess anymore...' Taehyung turned towards Yoongi ' It's a never ending painful maze woven out of our miseries hyung... First Sohyun noona and Jaewook hyung.. now me and Jungkook...may be fate just wants to play with us..but whatever it is...I won't let an innocent child be pulled into this hell...and about Jungkook... him hating me will assure his safety...'

Yoongi's heartbroke as he hugged Taehyung... breaking down completely ' I hate you Taehyung'

Taehyung too sobbed ' You also should hate me..stay away from me'

' I will seriously kill you' Yoongi's grip tightened ' I won't leave you no matter what'

' Is this the only way?' Yoongi asked

' What will you call the baby? She needs a name'

Taehyung took in a shaky breath ' I know it will hurt him if he ever gets to know that I have a daughter whose name is Cyra...but let me atleast live this as a reality... And this time I'll go any extend to keep Cyra and Jungkook safe'

' Taehyung...Yoongi hyung will always be there for you....' Yoongi said cupping his cheeks ' I'll let the whole world perish if that's what you want...but never ever ask me to hate you....'

' Thanks hyung' Taehyung smiled ' Now you need to leave...tell Jungkook before it's too late'

Yoongi blinked his tears off...' I-'

Both of them turned around when they heard Jin's voice.. only to see the said man standing behind them with the baby in his arms ' What are you both doing down here? Where is Joon-'

Taehyung turned towards Yoongi... silently begging him to put their plan into action... Yoongi closed his eyes taking a long breath before looking at Taehyung

' You disgust me Taehyung' Yoongi spat

' What's going on?' Jin asked alarmed

' Go ask your boyfriend whom I found with this boy' Yoongi pointed at Taehyung ' I never thought Namjoon would ever cheat on you hyung...and that too with you Taehyung! I can't believe you did this....'

' Yoongi do you even know what you are saying!' Jin was getting worked up ' Namjoon is Taehyung's hyu-'

' I don't want to hear anything!' Yoongi stopped him..his eyes travelling to the small child in Jin's arms who looked like a literal angel in those white sheets 'I need to show Jungkook your true colors'

With that Yoongi walked past them leaving a very angry Jin and a relieved Taehyung behind who ran upstairs

' Where is Yoongi?' Namjoon asked when he saw Taehyung running in followed by Jin

' What did even happen here?' Jin asked totally done as Namjoon explained how Yoongi walked in on them and misunderstood them

' Why didn't you deny it Taehyung...you should have told him that Namjoon is your brother-'

' Its for the best hyung' Taehyung looked at him 'Jaewook hyung is dead... Jungkook is shot...he was asked to leave me..he refused and now he is in a hospital...how am I supposed to let him love me when his life is on the line? No hyung he needs to hate me and nothing could ever be perfect for that than this....'

'And what about you Taehyung?' Jin asked ' Will you be able to see the hate in those eyes that you loved to stare at?'

Taehyung's face fell...his eyes again tearing up ' I won't...I will die hyung...I c-can't do it... I'll die'

Namjoon stepped forward when he saw Taehyung falling on his knees as he hugged him.. letting him cry on his shoulder

' I'll die seeing that..but it's better than seeing him getting hurt.... Why hyung? Why is my life so difficult... Why did my fate made me fall in love with him if we had to part our ways like this...why did my stars made me promise him a life full of love..why!!'

Jin just held the baby close as Taehyung wailed at his misery ' I should never have dragged Jungkook into this... Junho was my target.. I should have left Jungkook out of it...now he too will suffer...How hurt my Kookie will be when he will get to know that my promises were the most beautiful lies he would have ever trusted....that the promises of forever are always meant for memories and not for people....how broken will he be when he accepts the truth that I am letting go of the hand that I had promised to hold forever'

' You don't have to do this' Namjoon rubbed his back

' I should have done this a long time ago' Taehyung pulled back rubbing his eyes that were sore from crying so much.. He stood up.. taking the baby from Jin's arms... looking at its soft face

' Now my life is only for her....for my beautiful Cyra' Taehyung mumbled...a small smile on his lips ' I'll hide her away from the whole world...will never let any harm come her way'

Jin and Namjoon stood there... silently gazing at Taehyung who had his arms around Cyra... mumbling on how he will keep her safe...This went on for about half an hour.... with Jin and Namjoon now worried for Taehyung who still was murmuring god knows what to Cyra who was sleeping until his phone pinged with a message from Jungkook

Meet me at the park

By the time Taehyung reached the park it was raining heavily with him completely soaked in water.

As soon as Jungkook saw the younger's state he came out of the shelter running towards Taehyung.. hugging him..but Taehyung didn't fail to notice the hiss that left Jungkook's lips the moment their bodies met

' I couldn't risk coming to your apartment... Appa's people might have followed me.. that's why I called you here' Jungkook was rambling as Taehyung stared at his face... His heart breaking even at the thought of leaving Jungkook... how is he supposed to live a whole life without him

' Jungkook' Taehyung stopped him ' Did you meet Yoongi hyung?'

' I...did' Jungkook was getting restless ' He was talking nonsense-'

' He didn't lie' Taehyung blurted out and saw Jungkook's face hardening...as raindrops dripped down his hair and face ' I have to tell you something'

' Me too' Jungkook said after a small pause.. something in his voice changing...their eyes still locked ' You go ahead'

'I can't do this anymore' Tachyung said...' I never loved you Jungkook....you..us was just a mistake that I would never want to repeat ever again' You were the biggest blessing in my life Koo and I will choose you all over again if I get a chance to

Jungkook could swear he heard his heart breaking... Don't be hurt...this is for the best.. you need to keep appa away from your Tae

Taehyung stilled when Jungkook chuckled dryly ' Bold of you to assume that I will ever love some worthless boy like you Kim.... I regret even being anywhere near you.... You made my job easy....now I don't have to stick by you anymore'

Don't think much....he never loved you...yeah that's it..he never loved you Taehyung..he never did... Taehyung kept on repeating it in his head as if he was engraving it into his heart... trying hard to accept that truth

'So... that's it....we both were just playing with each other's feelings?" Taehyung asked... trying hard not to break down again

'Yes' Jungkook nodded.. trying to act unaffected

'Just to let you know the promises were real Jeon'
Tachyung looked straight at him..never in his farthest dream did Taehyung imagine a day when he'd have to say this to Jungkook ' Even as your greatest rival... I'll be there beside you... making sure to remind you of your biggest regret every second of your life'

Jungkook just scoffed ' See you Kim' Don't leave me Tae

' Sure Jeon' Please hold me Koo

Both of them turned around...walking off... without even sparing each other a final glance.. letting their tears get mixed with the raindrops as they ended their love story
