The guard bowed to him as Hobi walked into his Appa's restaurant.....only to see the said man talking to someone

' Appa' He called out and saw a big smile coming up on Dokwon's face

' Hoba...come here'

Hobi smiled seeing him....he nodded walking closer and that's when he saw the man standing in front of Dokwon

' Mr Jeon...hello' Hobi bowed

' Hello Hoseok' Junho said very unimpressed as Hobi suppressed his urge to roll his eyes

' Hoba...why are you here? I thought you were going to be with Jimin' Dokwon asked

' Ah...appa I need to talk to you about something'

' Do one thing.... wait for me in my office... I'll be there soon...I have to check everything for the wedding scheduled here for tonight...then I'll meet you' Dokwon said lovingly as Hobi walked off

' I still don't understand your and your son's obsession with these orphans' Junho's words made Hobi stop and step to the side... hiding next to some decorations

' First Hosoek then Taehyung...I can't seem to-'

' Junho... don't make me compelled to say something that you will regret hearing' Dokwon gritted out ' Yoongi and Hobi..both are my sons...and I would want others also see them like that only'

Junho scoffed ' Whatever... Anyway as I said...if he repeats it again.. I'll have to take matters into my hand'

' That won't be needed' Dokwon sighed ' I'll make him understand'

' You better' Junho gave him a sharp look before walking out

Hobi came out from behind the decoration the second Dokwon turned around...and saw his face going pale

' You were here?' Dokwon breathed out walking towards him

' Thanks for defending me' Hobi mumbled out

' I didn't defend you' Dokwon looked offended ' I just told him the truth...'

Hobi smiled hugging him ' I love you my appaa'

' I love you too my son' Dokwon chuckled

' Appa..' Hobi pulled back ' You know what happened four years ago....you and Yoongi...you both know.... Please tell me appa...I can also help you both in that...I-'

' What do you want to know?' Dokwon asked

' What happened after Junho threatened Jungkook to leave Tae?'

Dokwon looked conflicted....' Hoba-'

Dokwon went silent for a second.... thinking really if je should tell or not..but then again when he saw the genuine concern and desperation he felt the need to tell him everything that he knew

' Jungkook was adamant....' Dokwon said... 'Not ready to leave Tae and that's when Junho decided to call his eldest son... Jeon Jaewook...back...and his arrival changed everything...'

Taehyung rushed up the stairs of his apartment building... taking his keys out.. fumbling with it... A string of curses leaving him when the keys slipped down his shaky fingers onto the ground

Somehow he managed to open the door... running in.. searching through his table for a piece of paper... taking out a pen as he wrote down

Taehyung stumbled towards the wall.. sliding the paper in through the slit.. before running off to switch the lights off...his heart dropping when no light from the slit seeped in....

' Please' Taehyung kneeled down.. rubbing his hands together ' Please be safe Koo....' He cried.... his eyes shut tight as he remembered the first day he heard Jungkook's voice from the apartment next to him

To say he was shocked would be an understatement... He never expected for Jungkook to stay in a place like this but then his doubts were cleared when he heard from Bogum how Jungkook was kicked out... He initially didn't want to play this hide and seek game with Kook..but blame his heart....he got selfish.. the need to have sometime with Jungkook made him hide his identity.... When Taehyung heard that the restaurant he is working at which is owned by two best friends Park Hyungsik and Choi Wooshik...needed a new employee..the first name that came to his mind was Jungkook... and thanks to his mask that helped him keep his secret safe... But he never expected Wooshik to play along without knowing a thing the night Jungkook almost caught him and he will forever be thankful to Wooshik for that

Taehyung's train of memories stopped when he heard the click of locks before light seeped in indicating Jungkook's arrival....

Taehyung had his heart in his mouth as he waited for Jungkook to see his note and say something but he jolted up when he heard the loud crash of bottles followed by loud wails....

Taehyung crawled towards the wall... knocking on it frantically but the cries just got louder... He almost stood up.. risking everything and going straight to Jungkook when everything went silent...soo silent that Taehyung could clearly hear his heartbeats

He shakily knocked again praying to whatever forces he knew when he heard a small Hey

Are you ok? What was that noise? He slipped in the next note....and waited again

Jungkook bit his lips trying hard not to let his voice break as he took the note...his eyes roaming around his apartment which looked like it was hit by a tsunami

' Am fine' Jungkook said..loud enough for his neighbor to hear....

Taehyung swiped his tongue over his lips...his throat going dry..the urge to speak poking him and he almost let his voice out when

' Bear'

Taehyung exhaled shakily as he knocked once... waiting for Jungkook to continue

' I am Jeon Jungkook...as you know...the heir to Monarch Empires....or as people calls..the Prince of Korea who is expecte to take over the business world...but what they don't know is about this helpless life their prince has to survive....'

Jungkook had his head leaning against the wall as he continued ' Kim Taehyung....was an ordinary boy who became the light of my life...I loved him with my everything...still does...but destiny was not with me'

Taehyung pushed his hands against his mouth...not letting any voice leave him as Jungkook continued to tell their story...the same story that he told Jimin some days ago...the story of how Taehyung became Jungkook's Inara.... He leaned on the wall.. pulling his legs close to his chest as he silently listened.. living through the memories again when they reached a point which turned their whole world around

' Everything went according to the plan' Taehyung heard Jungkook speak ' The cake was selected... decorations all done....and Taehyung had left with Yoongi hyung just as planned and I was with them all back at Jin hyung's apartment when I got the call from my hyung....my Jaewook hyung...

Past

' Hello hyung...you reached...Am at Jin hyung-'

' Jungkook'

' Appa?' Jungkook frowned as Yoongi threw him a puzzled glance

' Come to the warehouse behind the news station'

Jungkook stared at the screen as the call ended

' Was it Junho?' Namjoon asked

' Yeah....he..asked me to come to the warehouse behind the news station'

' Why would he want you to?' Jin looked puzzled 'And where is Jaewook hyung? He reached?'

' I don't know...appa called from hyung's phone' Jungkook looked at his hyungs

' Do one thing...go meet him...if something goes wrong call us that instant ok?' Namjoon told.

' Should we just come along now?' Yoongi asked worried

' No hyung.... it's fine' Jungkook nodded ' I'll come soon'

' Appa' Jungkook called walking into the warehouse... his Appa's men bowing to him before closing the door behind him...

Junho walked ahead when he saw Jungkook coming in...' Am here'

' Why did you call...and where is hy-is that blood on your coat?' Jungkook's eyes widened as he rushed towards his father...no matter how harsh Junho was with him.. Jungkook still had a tiny bit of attachment left for this man ' Appa are you ok? Wha-'

Jungkook stumbled back..away from Junho who pushed him...a scowl decorating his face

' You brothers disappoint me' Junho spat

' What?' Jungkook blinked ' What are you talking about?'

Something in Jungkook snapped...as he raked his gaze all over his father ' A-appa..where is Jae hyung?'

Just then the door to the warehouse slammed opened startling Jungkook who turned on his heels only to have his whole world come crumbling down for there came two men..all dressed in black holding a man..or more like dragging a man..his head hanging low as blood dripped down his face

' We could only catch him' One of the men said before dropping the body down that landed with a thud and a groan

Jungkook's blood ran cold...his feets getting heavier as he felt unable to even move...his wide doe eyes staring at the body on the ground... that was not even moving

Junho scoffed walking past Jungkook... towards the body on the ground.... before shoving his leg onto the body turning it over

Jungkook inhaled sharply as he took in the form of the beaten up man on the ground...who had a huge wound on his forhead..blood smeared all over his shirt and face... looking almost lifeless

' Jaewookie hyung' Jungkook's voice wavered... He saw  his hyung stirring at his voice...

Jaewook opened his eyes tiredly..his whole body aching as he looked at Jungkook who was silently crying...his own tears leaving him as opened his mouth

' K-Kook...save Taeh-'

Two loud gun shots resonated through the walls followed by Jungkook's scream as blood splattered all over...

Jungkook groaned holding his shoulder...blood seeping down..but he had no time for that...

The second he saw Junho pulling out the gun...he rushed forward.. but alas..he was late

' No..no hyung' Jungkook scrambled towards Jaewook... kneeling beside him pulling him into his lap... putting his hand over the gun shot wound on Jaewook's chest.. trying to stop the bleeding                      ' Hyung..no please... don't leave me..Jae hyung'

Jungkook felt his head spin as blood oozed out of Jaewook's mouth...his eyes wide open.... ' Hyung please' Jungkook cried....wailed and shouted as he hugged his hyung's body closer

He looked at his father who had a satisfied smile on his face as he handed back the gun to one of his men

' Why the fuck would you do that!!' Jungkook yelled at Junho who nodded at his men who came forward ' Leave him..no...Appa...appa let's take him t-to the hospital...he will be fine... Pl-please just please'

' He is dead' Junho snapped ignoring Jungkook's pleads...' And I didn't kill him to just take him to the hospital anyway..'

Junho turned towards his men ' Take him away'

Jungkook tried to push away the men only to have a finger jabbed against his bleeding shoulder making him cry out in pain before being gripped hard on his jaw by his father making him look at him....as they took away Jaewook's cold body

'Why?' Jungkook breathed out ' What wrong did he do to you?'

' He dared to go against me...' Junho's grip over Jungkook's jaw hardened... ' It's me who decided your life...and if you take even a step against me... I'll make sure you regret it....Leave that worthless fag Jungkook before he gets a fate just like your brother...'

Jungkook whimpered as Junho pushed his face back before standing up.... ' Clean up everything' He said as his men nodded

Everything that just happened made him dizzy and the blood pooled over the floor just added to that.... Jungkook felt his vision blurring as someone came pulling him up onto his feet and the next thing he knew was darkness taking over him.

The continuous loud ringing of his phone made him open his eyes...his confused orbs travelled all over the room which he recognized to be his own.. Jungkook extended his hand to take out his phone when a sharp pain on his shoulder made him groan and lay back....and just like that everything that happened came back to his mind

Fresh set of tears were formed as he sobbed for his hyung whom he loved like anything....His phone rang again... Taehyung was the first thought that came to his mind...

Leave that worthless fag Jungkook before he gets a fate just like your brother Junho's words echoing in his ears made him shudder in fear ' I can't let anything happen to him..no..I can't loose him too...I-'

The door to his room slammed opened only to reveal a panting Yoongi...his face all pale and hair disheavled

' Where the fuck is your phone? I've been calling you like crazy!' Yoongi yelled...his eyes stopping over the bandaid on Jungkook's right side ' What happened to you Jungkook'

' Hyung'

' I need to tell you something' Yoongi said...his voice filled with something Jungkook didn't seem to decipher....his mind still hazy as every single memory looped in his head...but what the both of them said together the next flipped their whole world

' Jaewook hyung was killed'

' Taehyung cheated on you with Joon'

PRESENT

' Even though it hurt to hear that....the revelation Yoongi hyung made came as a blessing to me...' Jungkook wiped his cheeks ' I needed a reason to break it all off with my Tae so that Mr Jeon will leave him.... and I could see my Inara alive....and with that I left to meet him...I lied to him... told him how it was a struggle to be with him even for a second...made it look like he was burden to me... and he...he told me how he was never even in love with me'

A sob left Taehyung when he heard the crack in Jungkook's voice.... That's not true Kookiee

' But you know what Bear...I never trusted what Yoongi hyung said... ' Jungkook said making Taehyung shocked ' Taehyung once asked me to trust the love he had for me no matter what happens...I promised to trust him...and I will continue to trust him till my last breath without a second thought'

Don't do this to me Koo... Taehyung silently begged as Jungkook continued

'I will never forgive myself for hurting him....Its true that Appa has his men in our Uni who reports everything about me to him..... and that's the only reason I had to act like I hate my Tae....Even Prof Choi is kept by appa to have a closer eye on me....'

Taehyung stilled...one by one every fight with Jungkook coming back to head... Over these four years Jungkook never hurt him verbally except a very few times...even though Taehyung had noticed that..he never dwelled up on that to think about it again...It was always Yoongi who would spew out all the nonsense and every single time it's Jungkook who stops him...even if it's by saying the most harsh things at Taehyung...and now he knows why..... and the only time when Jungkook really hurt him was on the day Jimin lied to him

' When Jimin hyung came to me saying Taehyung hurt him...all I could see was his blood covered clothes and all I could think of was about my poor hyung who was so ruthlessly killed by my appa... Seeing the blood on Jiminie hyung's clothes made me turn a blind eye to the fact that my Taehyung could never do something like this to anyone...my anger towards my dad and my fear of loosing another hyung made me so blind that I never realized that I was hurting my Tae...and when I realized it...it was too late.... Thanks to Yoongi hyung... if he hadn't stopped me..I would have ki-killed my Taehyung too... Namjoon hyung took him to the hospital and after a very long week my Taehyung woke up.....'

' I know nothing could ever justify what I did...but I never wanted that to happen....Today also appa got to know of me standing up for Tae in front of Prof Choi.....He warned me to stay away from him..but it's getting hard... Four years....I have survived four years without him and every single second of it felt like a punishment.... I can't do this anymore...it hurts so much that I feel like ending it all at once...'

Taehyung panicked as he knocked frantically on the wall

' No' Jungkook chuckled dryly ' I won't do anything.. don't worry...I won't do anything until Taehyung finds someone who will love him and his daughter..... someone who is capable of keeping them safe.... Enough of my messed up life.... you'd probably be bored by now' Jungkook said rubbing his eyes

No....am not bored.... Thankyou for sharing it with me...I never knew your life was this messed up...you are so strong Jungkookie... So brave...

Jungkook smiled sadly reading the note ' Am not brave...if I was then my Tae would have been with me'

I am here Koo Taehyung wanted to say out loud instead he wrote

Since you told this big of a truth to me...I will also tell you something.....

Jungkook...I am also a student at SNU

Jungkook's eyes widened ' What? Who are you? Is that why you never talked to me?... I want to see you... please'

' I'll show you myself... but not today....am not strong enough for that' Taehyung whispered as he slid in another note

On the day of fest..after the graduation..am performing a song....we got close through my songs... let's meet through my songs too

' Ok... I'll wait' Jungkook smiled nodding.... ' Um bear..Can I ask you for a favor?'

A knock was heard and Jungkook continued ' I... once wrote something for Tae....but I could never sing it for him....and I don't think I'll ever be able to...so if it's ok..then can you... perform this song for the fest...if it's not a hurdle for you.... Ofcourse you can say no to me I-'

I'll do came the note and a big smile was seen on Jungkook's lips

' I'll give it to you in the morning' Jungkook said excitedly making Taehyung smile...

' Good night ' Jungkook laid back..... taking his phone out again.. looking at the wallpaper... when suddenly he remembered something making him shoot up in his place I kissed him!!!

' Please' Hobi scoffed ' That's not happening...he will do anything to make sure Jungkook is safe and that includes hurting Taehyung-'

' You think so Hoba?' Dokwon stopped him ' You think so low of your brother?'

' Appa he calls Tae names..he hurts him with words...he has even beat him up number of times...and some years ago he almost killed that boy-'

' Was it Yoongi?'

' What?'

' You saw Yoongi doing that to Taehyung'

Hobi blinked ' No'

' Then?'

' He told me...that he and Jungkook were angry and-' Hobi raised his head when something clicked in his head ' Appa'

' You both are my sons Hoba...you both were raised by me' Dokwon smiled caressing his cheeks ' Yoongi will never do anything without a clear motive behind it....'

' Also son...make sure Jungkook doesn't try to protect Taehyung ever again...no matter if it's in front of the professors..or the students'

Am still not sure how this chapter turned out to be and I feel very less confident about the story..I don't know..maybe it's just a phase...and hopefully this story will turn out to be good....
