Chapter 4-The Stormy Night In The Tea Cup(C)
The Needed Pep Talk Part 2
Anya was rubbing his back. He cried in her arms. Letting his long controlled emotions out of heart through his eyes in form crystalline tears, which made their way towards the pores of the tee that Anya was wearing and in turn making it wet.
It didn't matter to her. For her Advaay and his happiness matter more.
"Ad..Adv...Advaay, please tell me what happened?"
Anya fumbled with her at seeing his state.
She felt some thin material had brushed against her arm.
She broke the hug.
Keeping one hand on his shoulders, and cupping his face in another hand.
She asked him," Advaay,Why are you clutching the scribbles and other things in your hand?"
"An...Anya, these are not scribbles, these are not scribbles.
It's a memorandum, a token of memory of my sisters." Advaay replied her with his hands clutching to the piece of scribbled paper.
He dragged her near to the sofa he was sitting previously and made her sit there. Putting the slam book and scribbles on Anya's lap,he took out an old box which looks similar to a treasure box.
It was white in colour with a wooden handle and red patterns drawn on it.
He went near the wardrobe and opened it and took out a vintage jewellery box. Opening it he took out a key and went back to Anya.
Kneeling down on a feet, he unlocked the lock and opened it.
Anya was looking at Advaay carefully. She was studying his moments. Advaay is a diplomatic and calculated man. His each steps were calculated and his guard is always up. He is cautious of his surroundings.
Anya has the experience of staying under the care of overprotective men for instance his twin and cousins and now after getting married she thought she will get to live freely but got stuck with a man who is triple overprotective than his twin.
Leave over protectiveness but the man is insane when it comes to her safety, she was happy to get all attention of his husband despite being busy.
Her thought process suddenly came to an halt. She was brought back to earth by the sound of Advaay calling her.
"Anya, stop dreaming again." Advaay chided for his wife's attention.
Smiling at her husband's cute antics, she gazed at the stuff of toys and a slam book on Advaay's hand.
Her eyes widened.
"Advaay, they are so beautiful."She squealed.
She made her towards the floor where Advaay was sitting.
Sitting beside him comfortably she asked,"Where did you get such beautiful toys, drawings and greetings? I'm so jealous of you."
Advaay smirked at her.
"You should be jealous because those toys are very beautiful and way better than Om's."
Anya fumed at him. Preparing to launch an almost attack on him but she stopped after hearing what he said.
"They were beautiful because they are made by Anni and Chutki, my sisters."
He said in a nostalgic tone which was used as a cover up to his painful tone.
Anya kept her hands on his shoulders.
"Anni, used to draw and read much in her childhood. She had a great sense of humour and wit. Kiski nahin chalti thi uske wit ke saamne. Her singing was a bliss to the listener's ears. I think I've a recording of her voice"
He got up and brought his mobile. Scrolling through her music library, he came across a folder named 'Anni', a sad smile formed on his lips.
He tapped the 'Play' switch.
A beautiful melody echoed in the room which was darkened due to the stormy night.
The lyrics swim through her ear like a cerebral cortex in a wakeful dream, the notes relaxed her, enabling the song to call to reach her soul.
Music could never be something superfluous to her, it is medicine delivered in the most divine way to her.
Its first time in her life she heard such a beautiful voice.
A smile formed on her face.
Advaay was observing her for quite sometime.
He smiled at his wife's innocent face.
With a proud smile, he said," Saw how much beautiful my Anni used to sing. If she was alive I would have made her singer or artist."
A lone tear was trying to escape from his eyes which he chocked back.
"My chutki was no less. She might not be too much creative but she got brains. She can play chess well and got many prizes. Her theories are always out of the world but they are one of the best theories that's ever used. If she was here, I surely guaranty you that she would have gave a competition to your twin and Mr TSO."Advaay said proudly.
Getting up from that place, he went near to the window which was wet due to the violent slams of the rains of the stormy night.
His eyes watered.
"Anya, life doesn't go as it is planned. Everything is not in our will. Life played a big game with me. Destiny made me a orphan and took away my sisters from me'
Anya went near him and back hugged him.
Keeping his hand on her hands which was on his chest, he let the lone tear escape.
"We are a happy family. Living our life happily until the day that Bloody Bastard hell of a man entered in our life."
Anya was now curious about what happened.
Sensing her curiosity, he continued.
"He was Kali Thakur. A man does evil in the name worshipping Kali Mata."
His eyes flared up. Breaking the hug, he went to the nightstand where he picked up the newspaper.
"This is Kali Thakur, the destructor of my childhood and murder of my family. He's the reason I'm orphaned. Last time I've heard that he tried to forcefully marry a girl of Bareilly and was arrested."
He clenched his hands.
"This bastard can never get rid of his habits. I've been searching for him from the time I entered business world. Day and night searched for a small clue to track his location. Few days back I got it. He is in Mumbai Jail for now sometime for trying to marry a girl against her permission and trying to kill her husband."
He continued.
"I'm just intrigued how that man appears in the face of media after years of disappearance. There must be something related to this girl that Kali Thakur has to expose his identity.
I'm trying to get connected with Mumbai Crime Force to know about this matter more.
After many years, I got a clue. I'm not going to let that man go free from my clutches. He has to pay for what he did."
Advaay said in a determined tone.
