लोग बदलेंगे
वक्त बदलेगा
हालत भी बदल जायेगा,
बस बीता कल नहीं बदलेगा ।

रास्ते बदलेंगे
मोड़ बदलेगा
ज़रिया भी बदल जायेगा,
बस हासिल करने वाली मंजिल नहीं बदलेगा ।

अपने बदलेंगे
अपनापन बदलेगा
उनका किरदार भी बदल जायेगा ,
बस उनके साथ बिताए तसव्वुर नहीं बदलेगा ।

शौक बदलेंगे,
जिज्ञासा बदलेगा
सारे एहसास भी बदल जायेगा,
बस वो बीता लम्हात नहीं बदलेगा ।

उम्र बदलेंगे
सपना बदलेगा
सारे ख्वाब भी बदल जायेगा,
बस बचपने के पल नहीं बदलेगा ।

Circumstances may play,
But memories stay...

Paths take a bend,
Choices might blend,
Means find a trend,
But goals never end...

Self may alter,
Identity may falter,
Roles may differ,
But bonds don't wither...

Passions may sway,
Questions may stray,
Feelings may replay,
But moments won't decay...

Years may roll,
Dreams take their toll,
Aspirations unfold,
But childhood's soul...
