Heartsmith
The market that morning was as crowded as usual. Many people could be seen walking here and there to do their business. The seller shouted and advertised their goods to the passing customer. In that over crowded market street stood a young girl. Her auburn red hair were hidden under her red cloak. She wore a matching red puffy dress with a big white beautiful ribbon on her neck and a milk white apron. Her slender pale white hand grabbed her basket full of her selling goods. She smiled as she took out one of the 'heart' she was going to sell.
"Would you like to buy a 'heart'?" she asked to each people passing in front of her. "I have quiet a few beauties to offer." Her smiled was ignored by most of the people. But she kept advertising the 'heart' she sold. Till she saw a troubled looking man.
"Sir, would you like to buy a heart?" The girl showed one of the red warm heart to the man.
The man smiled to the girl as he put his hand on his chest. "Do you also happen to repair broken heart?"
The girl shook her head slightly. "Oh, no! I just sell 'heart', sir..."
"I see..." The man answer weakly.
"But..." The girl pointed to a less crowded road, "If you go down that road you will find the Heartsmith."
"Heartsmith?" The man asked as he never heard anyone who could repair a broken heart before.
"Thank you young lady..." The man bowed to the 'heart' seller girl.
The girl smiled genuenly to the man. "You're welcome, sir..."
The man walked down the road pointed by the girl till he found an old looking shop with dusty plank that read "Heartsmith"
His heart thumped anxiously as his hand shakily opened the shop front door. The first thing he saw inside was a tanned man soaked in sweat. His coal color haired was in a big mess. Almost all part of his face covered by the googles hanging on his nose. His hand, covered by a sand color leather gloves, skillfully fixed the warm glowing red heart.
The man shifted his leg as the other man in front of him didnt even realize his presence. "Um, excuse me..."
"Huh?" The other man frowned, the man almost decided to go out when the other man took off his googles revealing a pair of warm black orbs, his lips formed a really big smile. He stood up from his working desk going toward the man.
"Welcome sir! What can I do for you?" His smile made the man felt better already.
The man pointed outside, "A young girl told me that you repair hearts?"
"Yup! That's what I do! I'm the Heartsmith. Pleased to meet you." The heartsmith once again gave the man a reassuring smile.
"Pleased to meet you,too..." The man for the first time smiled since his heart broken.
"What seems to be the problem?" The heartsmith asked going straight to the point. The man in front of him brought his 'heart' and showed the almost broken to two heart of his. The heartsmith observed it thoroughly. His brow frowned deeper the more he observed the heart.
"Oh,boy! This one looks pretty damaged..." He announced at last. The man felt down almost immediately. Looking again at his broken heart, he personally thought it wouldnt be able to be repaired anymore. He wouldnt be able to love anyone anymore with that broken heart.
"So you cant repair it?"
"I didnt say that! It might just take a while..." The heartsmith immediately answer.
But the man still looked down, "That... might be a problem..." His word trailled down. The heartsmith now knew why his customer looked that anxious. He walked closer to the man and grinned at him.
"Are you planning on getting married?" He asked.
The man smiled weakly. "Yes, actually..."
The heartsmith shook his hand happily, "Oh~! Congrast!"
"However..." The man looked sadly at his broken heart, "As the wedding grows nearer I find this heart incapable of loving..."
"I can see how that would be a problem..." The heartsmith scracthed the back of his head, his habit when he was confused. "Well, I suggest you leaving it here for a while... I cant make any promise but I'll do my best!" He finally said.
The man smiled once more feeling a bit better already by the heartsmith's word. "Thank you..." He gave his broken 'heart' to the Heartsmith. "Take good care of it, dear Heartsmith."
The heartsmith nodded while his hand held the man 'heart' carefully. "Of course! I dont know when it'll be ready. Just drop by whenever it's convenient for you."
"I will" The man then bid the Heartsmith a good bye.
The man walked back to his house with lighter feeling now as he knew that the Heartsmith will repair his heart. He knew he would be able to love his faincee once again. As he walked through the crowded market street once more his eye met the little 'heart' seller girl. The girl smiled to him that he also replied with a warm smile.

"Hello... Sorry for bothering you again today!" The man went in to the Heartsmith shop. His hand held a big box. The heartsmith, as usual, fixed some of the 'heart' of his customer.
"Oh, it's you, sir!" The heartsmith smiled warmly. The man visited has almost became his routine that the Heartsmith got used to it already.
The man held up the box he brought. "I brought cake..."
The heartsmith happily ate the cake brought by the man. It has been a long time since he ate a cake this delicious. He repeatedly said how delicious the cake was.
"I'm glad you like it." The man said as he sipped the tea that the Heartsmith has served to drink with the cake.
The heartsmith wiped the cream on his mouth. "None of my customer has ever bought me a cake..."
"It's the leart I can do for someone who is repairing my heart..." The man replied.
Hearing the man answer, the Heartsmith stopped eating. He scratched the back of his head, his eyes averted unable to see his customer straight on his eyes. "About that..."
The man tilted his head. "Is there a problem?"
"Well..." The heartsmith folded his hand in front of his broad chest. He stopped to search the right thing to say that wouldnt hurt his customer feeling. "Some vital parts required for the 'love' function are missing..."
"I see.." The man looked sadly at the Heartsmith, "So I'll never be able to love my fiancee? She deserves better..." The man looked down with obvious sadness on his gaze.
The man's sadness made the Heartsmith heart ache. He clutched his chest. His heart in it throbbing weakly. He knew he didnt have much left. But he had to do something!
"I will fix it for you!" The heartsmith bursted out. "There's still something I can do..."
The man eye's widen. He came closer to the Hearsmith with eyes full of hope. "Thank you! Thank you, dear Heartsmith."
The heartsmith turned to his right as he smiled. "Dont mention it. I'm happy to help a kind person like you, sir!"
"I'll visit you again tomorrow then!" The man bid the Heartsmith a good bye more cheerful than usual.
"See you tomorrow then..." The heartsmith looked at the man. He just couldnt let that man to not be able to feel love anymore. He clutched his chest. The beat was soft and slow. But it was full of love. "Will it be enough?"

The heartsmith showed the man fixed 'heart'. The once broken heart was now beating strongly and glowing warmly.
"You did it heartsmith!" The man praised the heartsmith awed by the hearsmith work.
The Heartsmith smirked happily, "Of course! I told you I would fix it, didnt I?"
The man slowly inserted his heart back to his chest. For the first time in his life he felt an overflowing love floated in him. "It's amazing. I can feel my heart overflowing with love."
"Really?" The heartsmith smiled weakly. His heart ached as he lost more part of his 'heart'. "That's great..."
"Yes. I'm sure my fiancee will be happy..." The man smiled genuinenly at the Heartsmith.
"Oh..." The heartsmith tried hard to maintain his smile in front of his last customer but it became harder and harder. 'I'm sure she will..."
The man gripped the heartsmith shoulder lightly, "I hope to see you at my wedding?"
"...of course." He gave his mos genuine smile to the man. And when the man went out of his store, The heartsmith's tears fell uncontrollably. He clutched his throbbing and sad 'heart' tightly. His eyes stung from the warm liquid that couldnt stop flowing from his eyes.
"Poor heartsmith." The heartsmith looked up and saw the 'heart' seller girl that now standing in front of him. "Why do you always share pieces of your own heart with others?"
He laughed weakly at the girl, "Look who is talking! How come you sell hearts, eve though you dont have one of your own?"
"None of this heart fit me!" The girl pouted.
"I see..." The heartsmith wiped his tears from his eyes, "Then maybe would what's left of this heart fit you?"
The heartsmith question left the little girl speechless. A hot tears started to form on his eyes.
"Y-you're giving me... your heart?" The girl's voice shook slightly still couldnt believe his offer.
"Yes." He showed his glowing heart to the now crying girl. "If this one is alright with you..."
The girl hugged the heartsmith tightly. Noone has ever offered her a heart to fill the hole in her heart. And now he got the best heart she could ever ask. The heart of the kindest and warmest person she had ever known. "Thank you, heartsmith..."

A little girl with auburn red hair that was tied into low ponytails. She sitted on her bed in a big hospital. She was reading her book when her doctor came in.
"How are you doing today?" Her doctor asked. The girl smiled sweetly at him before she greeted him.
"Tomorrow is your big day." her doctor started, " You're lucky that we found a donor for your heart in time..."
The girl smiled sadly, "Yes, the Hearthsmith is very kind."
"Uh,who?" Her doctor asked her again.
She closed her eyes, remembering the heartsmith warm smile. "It's OK. People dont remember him. Even those he helped."
She brought her book closed to her chest. She could already felt the Heartsmith's heart radiating a warm heat to all of her body.
