You walk out of the final store, loaded up with all your new equipment. You get in Blade's car and drive off towards base.
"So is there anything y'all can tell me about the new girl?"
"Not yet, you'll find out in two days my friend."
"You suck Blade."
"Yeah yeah dude, whatever you say let's just get back to base so we can test out our new weapons and gear."
You grab your rifle's magazine and begin to load it with armor piercing rounds.
"Well, someone seems ready."
"I'm ready to find that assassin."
You put the magazine back in the rifles and pull the bolt back, then push it forward to chamber a round.
"He's going to come for me. But I'll be ready this time."
"Well, first you need to plan and find out who it is. Learn their strategy and their mistakes. It'll take some time so calm down."
"Also we're here to help you man, so don't act like you're taking on him by yourself."
"I know you are. Now to find out who this assassin is."
You park inside the base and get out. You see Cinder instructing Roman and his goons to do something a certain way. You walk up behind her and wrap your arms around her making her jump. She looks behind her and sees you as you kiss her from behind.
"Hey babe."
"Hey (Y/N), I can't talk now but give me a few hours and we can do all the 'talking' we want."
"Ok babe see you then."
You kiss her one more time on the lips, then walk away to the training area with Blade and Archaon. You set up your rifle and try to look down its sights with your one good eye. You aim at the target and put your finger on the trigger. Everything starts to go fuzzy as you see the assassin in front of you, with a gun pointed straight at your body. You pull the trigger and he vanishes into thin air. Blade rushes over to you.
"You ok man? You look like you saw a ghost."
"Ghost.......That's it! Check the database for the name Ghost - that's his name."
"What?"
"The Assassin! That's his name. Look it up."
"Alright man let's go check it."
You grab your rifle and walk into the intel section of the base.
"Hey Emily, I need a favor."
A blonde female coyote faunas shorter than Blade walks up.
"Anything for you, my little dagger."
"Oh, um, yeah (Y/N) you remember Emily from when we were younger."
"The one you obsessed over for most of your life."
"Oh did he now?"
"Shut up (Y/N)! But um, yeah, we finally got together."
"Good for you man, but can we get on with this."
"Oh yes... um, Emily I need you to run the name Ghost through the Atlas database."
"Alright sure, sounds simple enough."
She walks over to a laptop, types in the name Ghost, and the computer starts scanning faces and names in the database. It soon stops on a page with a blank photo and the name is just 'Ghost'.
"Says he's a gun for hire. The rest is unknown except this. All it says is 'Found You', how odd."
The laptop glitches out and the rest of them do as well.
"What the - "
The lights go out and the room is plunged into blackness. You hear a body fall to the ground, then another and another. You grab your swords and stand ready, the lights then flicker back on to reveal the rest of them, either dead or knocked out. You sense someone is behind you so you turn around and swing only to find that no one is there. You're then hit in the back of the head sending you crashing to the ground. You look up to see the assassin standing over you with the tip of his sword to your throat. You pay attention to his outfit, a skin tight suit made for stealth and speed, a black face mask with a ghost face on it. He pulls the sword back, sheathes it on his back, then vanishes.
