Hello, and welcome. This note will be short and sweet.

This story will be, as the blurb so smartly states, a Beauty and the Beast retelling. It is also going to mostly follow the known Disney line with some twists just for the fun of it.

The curse, as you may have noticed, is not the same. This is not about growing up and learning how to love. Well... it is, but that would only activate the second part of the curse which will make the Beast kill what it loves. So it's a little bit more complicated than that. But I wouldn't be me if I didn't complicate stuff.

Yes, I'm doing a retelling with the characters from RIFOY. If you don't know what that is, then enjoy the story. If you do... well, read on.

Someone who shall forever remain unnamed pointed out to me that the basic character traits of my cast molds well on the fairy tale. Even of it came nowhere near my psyched up brain, I have to agree on the merits of the idea.

So with a little push (a very hard push that got me into a fever induced dream of the plot), I'm more than willing to deliver a Kale fairytale.

However, after a long time, I decided to make this more of its own story. So while RIFOY elements are still there, it will be more of a fun throwback rather than people actually staying in character.

With those said, prepare yourself. I'm about to make Stockholm syndrome romantic!
