Ancient ruins long abandoned by the people of Uawrith.

THE SCORCH
A chain of volcanoes revered by the people of Uawrith.

VIRIDIAN FOREST
A dangerous and enchanted forest of blue-green leaves and golden bark. The people of Idaea fear what lurks within.

THE GREAT DIVIDE
An expansive mountain chain that walls off Uawrith, Idaea, and Rivadin from each other.

FORTUNE LAKE
A giant stretch of water surrounded by rocky cliffs which runs through Kintha, the capital of Rivadin.

CHANNEL OF MER
A channel of the Ashen Sea, home to Merfolk.

MOLTEN ISLES
A spiraling chain of islands formed long, long ago by eruptions of The Scorch.

THE BLACK CHASM
A massive rift in the ground near the entrance of Gridul. There are few ways to cross it.

TREE OF VAHNA
A mystical, ancient tree that grows life and power. Carefully protected by the people of Gridul.

TESERANS (NOBLES)
The most powerful of all elves, Teserans have a strong royal bloodline and have remained the rulers of the realm for centuries. Every noble is gifted.

TRIANS (HIGH ELVES)
As the second most powerful, Trians often live in or near the Royal Court. They are all gifted, though their magic rarely matches the strength of nobles.

ALFIR (LOW ELVES)
Unlike Teserans and Trians, Alfir are not all gifted. Those who are do not match the strength of their superiors, and for this, they are often found living nearer to redbloods than to their counterpart elves.

HALFLINGS
Half elf, half redblood; the attributes they are born with typically determine which race will be more accepting of them.

REDBLOODS
Mortals without gifts, redbloods lack Elven ears and Elven senses.

SKALDRINS
Cold-blooded, reptilian creatures often seen as more monster than person. 

TIGRI
Feline but humanoid creatures; the tigri are supreme hunters who most commonly stick to themselves.

SPRITES
Fairy-like winged creatures known to reside in Driaten forests. Can be dangerous.

MERFOLK
These beautiful, finned beings reside mostly in the Ashen Sea near Rivadin. Known to be seductive and dominant.

GRATORI
Skilled warriors who earned their way to become a noble's personal guard. Pledged to their master for life.

KEEPERS
High elves of Idaea whose sole task is to enforce laws in the kingdom's territories, particularly where low elves and redbloods live.

VERIANS
Children of a noble and a high elf who are considered illegitimate due to having more high elf qualities than noble qualities.

DETHALI
The official militant forces of each kingdom. Trained for years in caution of any wars, but in times of peace, the Dethali serve as palace guards.

A/N: I wanted to keep this rundown chapter pretty brief. It's really only here for those of you who are forgetful and want a reference to brush up on details later on. I could've added history, traditions, holidays, etc., but I'd prefer leaving the more in-depth worldbuilding aspects to be learned only through the story! There is plenty of additional information to everything on this page that will be explored within our protagonist's journey.
