The next morning, Valentina woke up feeling the familiar ache radiating through her lower abdomen. With a groan, she realized what was happening: her period had started, and all the irritability and bratty behavior the previous day suddenly made sense.
She slowly made her way to the kitchen where Yoongi was already sipping his morning coffee, glancing up as she approached. He raised an eyebrow as he observed her tired expression, still carrying that playful smirk from last night.
“Still feeling defiant?” he teased.
Valentina forced a small smile but winced as a cramp shot through her abdomen. She tried to act casual, hoping he wouldn’t notice, but he was too perceptive for that.
“Is something wrong?” he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity and slight suspicion. “You were a bit of a handful yesterday, and you’re still looking… off.”
She gave a weak laugh, trying to brush it off. “Nothing, just… woke up feeling a little rough, that’s all.”
Yoongi narrowed his eyes, his Dom side sensing she wasn’t telling him everything. “Valentina,” he said softly but firmly, “are you keeping something from me?”
The gentle command in his voice made her sigh, and she hesitated before finally admitting, “It’s… my period.”
Understanding flashed in his eyes, immediately replacing the dominance with a warmth that softened his expression. “Ah, so that’s why you’ve been acting up,” he murmured, the hint of a smile playing on his lips. “You could have told me.”
Embarrassed, she shrugged. “I didn’t realize at first. I just thought… I don’t know. I wasn’t exactly thinking straight yesterday.”
Without another word, Yoongi put his coffee down, walked over to her, and wrapped his arms around her, gently pulling her into a comforting embrace. “You should have said something. You don’t have to put on a front with me, you know?”
The relief she felt was immediate, melting into his touch as she let herself lean against him. “I just didn’t want to make it a big deal,” she murmured, her head resting against his chest.
He brushed his fingers through her hair, his voice soothing. “This isn’t just a small thing, Valentina. Your well-being always comes first. Let’s make today about rest.”
Yoongi led her to the couch, fetching a warm blanket and draping it over her. Then, as if he’d done it a hundred times, he prepared a cup of tea, bringing it over with a warm pack he’d found, placing it gently on her abdomen.
For the rest of the morning, he doted on her, ensuring she was as comfortable as possible. He even texted his assistant to manage his morning meetings, deciding he’d work from home to be close by if she needed anything.
As he joined her on the couch, she curled up against him, feeling the warmth of his steady presence. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, absentmindedly running his fingers along her arm, a gesture that sent a soothing calm through her.
“You know,” he murmured after a while, “if this happens again, just let me know. No more hiding things, okay?”
She looked up at him, grateful for his understanding, and nodded. “I will. Thank you, Yoongi.”
He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “You’ve taken care of me in your own ways, too. We’re in this together, bratty days included.”
And for the rest of the day, Yoongi kept her close, ensuring she felt loved and cared for, proving once again that he wasn’t just her Dom—he was also her partner, with or without the contract.
As the day progressed, Yoongi’s care for Valentina took on a seamless blend of both his dominant nature and his deep affection for her. While he was gentle and attentive, he was also unwavering in making sure she did exactly what she needed to feel better, even if she tried to brush it off.
After he brought her tea and a warm compress, Yoongi pulled her close, gently but firmly nudging her to lie back against the couch cushions. “I’m going to make sure you’re comfortable, so don’t argue with me,” he said, his tone soft but with an edge of authority. She opened her mouth to protest, but he raised a brow, silencing her instantly. “Stay right there. I’m going to make you some food, and you’re going to eat every bite, understood?”
Valentina managed a small smile, grateful for his attentiveness, even if his commanding tone sent a familiar flutter through her. “Yes, Yoongi.”
“That’s ‘yes, Sir,’” he corrected, a faint smirk tugging at his lips as he turned toward the kitchen, his Dom persona slipping into even these small moments.
As he worked, she watched him move with a sense of purpose, slicing fresh fruit and making a simple but nourishing breakfast with scrambled eggs and toast. The warmth of the room, combined with his presence, made her feel safe and comforted, but she knew better than to try to get up and help him.
When he returned, he placed the tray in front of her and carefully settled himself beside her. “Eat,” he commanded softly, his voice leaving no room for argument. Valentina took a few bites, and when she hesitated, he reached out, guiding a spoonful of eggs to her lips.
“Good girl,” he murmured, his tone carrying that same edge that made her spine tingle, but his eyes held nothing but warmth. “Finish this, and then we’re going to rest.”
When she’d eaten her fill, he put the tray aside, letting her snuggle into his embrace as he held her close. The weight of his arms around her, steady and unyielding, grounded her in a way that eased both her physical discomfort and the emotional strain that had come with her mood swings.
“Lean back,” he instructed, adjusting her position on his lap so she could stretch out a bit more comfortably. He brushed his hand along her lower back, applying just enough pressure to soothe her cramps. She sighed as his fingers traced small, comforting circles along her spine, her whole body relaxing under his touch.
“Thank you,” she whispered, closing her eyes and letting herself fall deeper into his care.
“Shh,” he replied, his voice low and soothing. “You don’t have to thank me. I’m here for you, Valentina, every part of you.”
He continued the gentle massage, shifting between strokes that were tender and others that were more purposeful, almost commanding her muscles to relax. The line between his role as her Dom and her lover blurred in these moments; he was both a source of strength and the tenderness she needed.
After a while, he stood up, lifting her effortlessly in his arms. She glanced at him, startled. “Where are we going?”
“You’re resting in bed for a while,” he said simply, carrying her down the hallway and placing her gently on the bed. He pulled the blankets over her, tucking her in with a gentleness that contrasted with the firm set of his jaw. “I want you to sleep. I’ll be here if you need anything.”
“Will you stay?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Yoongi nodded, slipping into bed beside her. He reached out, his hand finding hers under the covers, giving it a gentle squeeze. “Of course. Close your eyes.”
His presence was so steady and reassuring, making her feel safe even in her vulnerability. She finally drifted into a light sleep, Yoongi’s hand still resting on hers, his thumb tracing slow circles across her knuckles.

An hour or so later, she woke to find him still there, his gaze on her, observant yet tender.
“How are you feeling?” he asked, brushing his fingers lightly along her cheek.
“Better. Just… exhausted.”
He nodded, letting her rest against him as he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. “Good girl. I’m proud of you for letting me take care of you.”
Something about the softness in his tone mixed with the quiet authority brought a small smile to her face. She could see how effortlessly he balanced his dual roles; even in his nurturing moments, he commanded her trust and submission in a way that made her feel cherished and safe.
After a moment, he held her chin, tilting her face up to meet his gaze. “When you need me, you tell me,” he said, his tone laced with a gentle warning. “None of this hiding things from me, alright?”
“Yes, Sir,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper, and his grip softened as he smiled at her response.
As they lay together, he whispered to her about his plans to take care of her over the weekend, promising her both rest and pampering, interwoven with moments where his dominant nature would shine through. For now, though, he focused on being what she needed most: a comforting presence, one that steadied her and allowed her to simply be in the moment with him.
