Yoongi sat in the soft glow of his apartment, looking at Valentina with a somber expression. The usual calm confidence in his demeanor had faded, replaced by a heaviness that weighed on his features. He hesitated, as though searching for the right words, then took a deep breath, preparing himself to reveal a part of his past he rarely spoke of.

"Valentina," he began softly, his voice low but steady, "there’s something you need to know about Mayra and what happened between us."

Valentina shifted closer, sensing the gravity of the conversation. She’d never seen him this vulnerable before, and it made her heart ache to see the shadows in his eyes.

"When I first met Mayra," he continued, his gaze drifting to a spot on the wall as if he were reliving the memory, "she was like a breath of fresh air. We had chemistry—intense, thrilling chemistry. She seemed genuinely interested in exploring the lifestyle, and… well, I thought she understood the boundaries, the consent. I thought she knew what we were building."

Valentina nodded quietly, allowing him to continue at his own pace. Yoongi’s voice was calm, but his jaw clenched as he pressed on.

"But as things grew deeper, Mayra started to change. I don’t know if it was pressure, her own insecurities, or something else entirely, but she began pushing back against our arrangement. She said she wanted more money, hinted that maybe she deserved some kind of compensation beyond what we had agreed on. It was confusing because, in all our discussions, money had never been the focus—it was always supposed to be about mutual exploration and trust."

He looked away, his hands clasping and unclasping as he tried to hold back the hurt that still lingered. "Then, one day, she… she claimed that I forced her into BDSM."

Valentina’s eyes widened in shock, a chill running down her spine. She reached out instinctively, placing a comforting hand on Yoongi’s arm.

Yoongi continued, his voice more strained now. "She said she felt ‘pressured,’ that I’d somehow manipulated her into agreeing to things she didn’t want. But that wasn’t true. I never pushed her. Everything was discussed—every scene, every boundary. I thought we were on the same page."

He paused, his eyes hardening as he remembered the accusations. "But she went as far as to tell others that I’d ‘forced’ her to be a submissive, and that I’d done it all for my own pleasure without caring about her well-being. I tried to reason with her, but nothing seemed to get through. The whole thing spiraled out of control."

Valentina squeezed his hand, feeling his pain as if it were her own. "That must have been so hard, Yoongi. I’m so sorry you had to go through that."

He nodded, his voice quiet but filled with conviction. "She almost destroyed everything I’d built. The accusations spread, and people started to believe her version of the story. My business associates, my friends… some of them began to doubt me. Even those who knew me well were wary, afraid that there might be some truth to her words."

Yoongi let out a deep breath, the weight of his memories pressing heavily on him. "I had to fight to clear my name, to prove that everything we’d done had been consensual. It took months—months of endless explanations, proving my integrity, rebuilding relationships. And in the end… I just felt betrayed. She’d taken something personal and intimate between us and turned it into a weapon."

Valentina’s heart clenched at the pain in his voice. She couldn’t imagine the betrayal he must have felt, the trust he’d placed in Mayra only to have it shattered so completely.

He looked down, his hand resting over hers. "So when Mayra started reaching out again, I knew it was only a matter of time before she tried to hurt me all over again. And I can’t… I can’t go through that a second time."

Valentina moved closer, wrapping her arms around him. She felt his body relax slightly as he leaned into her embrace, and she whispered, "You’re not alone this time, Yoongi. I’m here, and I believe you. I know the kind of person you are."

He let out a shaky breath, as though her words lifted a burden he’d been carrying alone for too long. "Thank you, Valentina," he murmured, his voice filled with gratitude. "I don’t know how I managed to trust anyone again after her… but with you, it’s different. You make me feel safe."

They stayed like that, wrapped in each other’s arms, the silence a soothing balm over the wounds of his past. For Yoongi, sharing this part of himself was no small feat, but Valentina’s understanding and acceptance allowed him to finally let go of some of the pain he’d been holding inside. And for the first time in a long time, he felt that maybe, just maybe, he could move forward—this time with someone who truly understood him.
