Yoongi’s office was a sanctuary of luxury and power, with polished mahogany furniture and large windows overlooking the skyline. The room was always kept cool and calm, much like Yoongi himself—except today, the air was thick with tension. Seated behind his massive desk, Yoongi leaned back in his leather chair, his eyes cold and unyielding as he stared at his phone. A series of text messages from Mayra, his ex-submissive, kept coming in, and with every new ping, his jaw tightened.

The threats were escalating. The desperation in her tone was laced with venom as she tried to blackmail him, using his past relationship with her as leverage. But what made Yoongi’s blood boil wasn’t just the threats—it was her audacity to involve Valentina. Mayra had gone too far this time, threatening to expose his contract with Valentina if he didn’t take her back.

**"I’ll ruin you both,"** one of Mayra’s texts read. **"You’ll lose everything if you don’t come back to me."**

Yoongi’s eyes darkened, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the desk as he processed the words. He had warned her before, multiple times, but she clearly hadn’t taken him seriously. Now, she was trying to disrupt the life he had carefully built, the life that now included Valentina. His patience was wearing thin, and when Yoongi reached his breaking point, he didn’t hesitate to take action.

Sitting on his lap, Valentina could feel the shift in his energy. His hand, which had been lazily tracing the curve of her waist, suddenly stilled. She shifted slightly, turning her head to look at him, her brows knitting together with concern.

“What’s wrong?” she asked softly, though she already had an idea. She had noticed how his demeanor changed every time he glanced at his phone.

Yoongi didn’t answer immediately. His free hand gripped the phone tighter before he slowly placed it down on the desk, taking a deep breath. He didn’t want to worry her, but he couldn’t hide his anger. Not this time.

“It’s Mayra,” he said, his voice low and controlled, though the fury was evident beneath the surface. “She’s crossed a line.”

Valentina’s body tensed, her mind racing. She had known about Yoongi’s past with Mayra, though they hadn’t discussed it much. It wasn’t her place to pry, and Yoongi had assured her that the past was the past. But now it seemed Mayra wasn’t content to leave things alone.

“She’s threatening to expose us,” he continued, his hand moving to rest on Valentina’s thigh, his thumb brushing against her skin in a soothing gesture despite his own turmoil. “She thinks she can manipulate me into taking her back by threatening you. By threatening what we have.”

Valentina’s breath caught in her throat. The idea of being exposed terrified her—not because she was ashamed of her relationship with Yoongi, but because of the personal and professional consequences it could bring. The contract was supposed to be their private agreement, something that existed between them and only them.

“What are we going to do?” she whispered, her voice laced with worry.

Yoongi’s expression hardened, his gaze turning cold as steel. “I’m going to take care of it.”

He reached for his phone again, this time not to check Mayra’s messages but to make a call. His mafia connections, which he rarely needed to rely on these days, were about to come in handy. Mayra clearly didn’t know who she was dealing with. She thought her threats would scare him into submission, but she had underestimated him.

“Seokjin,” Yoongi said into the phone, his voice steady. “I need you to send a message to someone.”

Valentina watched Yoongi with wide eyes, feeling a mixture of fear and awe at the power he wielded. She had always known he was connected, that there were parts of his life that he kept separate from their dynamic. But seeing it in action was something else entirely.

“There’s a woman who’s become a problem,” Yoongi continued, his voice chillingly calm. “Her name is Mayra. I want you to teach her a lesson. Nothing too drastic, but enough to make her understand she’s not in control. Make sure she knows this ends now.”

Valentina shivered at the cold, calculated way Yoongi spoke. His hand continued to roam her body, though the tenderness in his touch contrasted with the sharpness of his words. It was like he was two different people—one who could destroy an enemy with a single command and one who could worship her body with the same hands that ordered retribution.

Seokjin must have agreed to the request because Yoongi simply nodded once before ending the call. He set the phone down on the desk and exhaled slowly, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly.

“It’s done,” he said, turning his attention back to Valentina.

She stared at him, her mind still trying to catch up with everything that had just happened. “What… what did you do?” she asked softly, though part of her didn’t want to know the details.

Yoongi’s gaze softened slightly as he looked at her, his hand moving to cup her cheek. “I made sure she won’t bother us anymore. She needs to understand her place.”

Valentina nodded, though she couldn’t shake the unease that lingered in her chest. She knew Yoongi had done what he needed to do, that he was protecting them both, but the idea of someone being harmed because of her… It was unsettling.

“I don’t want you to worry about this,” Yoongi added, his thumb brushing gently against her lower lip. “I’ll handle it. You just need to focus on me. On us.”

Valentina let out a shaky breath, her body slowly relaxing against his as she leaned into his touch. Yoongi’s hand drifted back down to her waist, pulling her closer to him so that she was straddling his lap. His hands roamed her body, tracing the familiar curves he knew so well.

“You’re mine,” he murmured, his lips brushing against her ear. “No one can take that from me.”

His words sent a shiver down her spine, and despite the tension of the situation, she found herself responding to his touch, her body already heating up under his hands. Yoongi’s dominance, his control, had always made her feel safe in a way she couldn’t explain. Even now, knowing what he had just done, she trusted him completely.

As his hands slid beneath her shirt, trailing over her bare skin, Valentina let herself melt into him, the stress of the morning slowly fading away. Yoongi tilted her head back, capturing her lips in a heated kiss, one that was both possessive and tender.

The kiss deepened, their breaths mingling as his hands explored her body. Valentina moaned softly against his lips, her fingers threading through his hair as she gave herself over to him completely.

“You’re safe with me,” Yoongi whispered against her lips, his voice filled with a promise that she knew he would keep. “Always.”

Valentina nodded, her heart pounding in her chest as Yoongi’s hands continued to explore her body. She knew that, no matter what happened, Yoongi would protect her. He would never let anything happen to her. And in that moment, as she lost herself in his touch, she believed him completely.

As they continued to kiss, Yoongi’s phone buzzed once more on the desk. He ignored it this time, his focus entirely on the woman in his arms. He had dealt with Mayra. Now, all that mattered was Valentina.
