"okay this one it is" i said.

today im proposing to gabby. h*ll of a ride between us and i wouldn't have it any other way as long as im with her forever.

her sister helped me pick out the ring and it's gorgeous. we made sure to customize it and then he handed it to me in the box.

i paid for it and we headed to starbucks and i made sure to get gabby something as well. definitely a oreo frappuccino ofc.

"omgg she's gonna love this" leila said making me smile.

"so how come i've never met your sister kiare ?" she asked.

"idk actually lol. but she'll be here soon so im sure you guys will finally get to meet" i said and she nodded.

we got home and saw gabby on the couch watching mean girls. she looked over and smiled at us.

"hey how'd the little get to know each other date go ?" she asked.

"amazing. we learned so much about each other" leila said.

we told gabby we were gonna go out to get to know each other but really i needed her help to pick out an engagement ring and in doing so we did actually learn a lot about each other.

"that's good" she said smiling.

"here i brought you starbucks but i need you to go get dressed. im taking you on a little date tonight" i said.

"ouu okay where are we going ?" she asked excitedly.

"it's a surprise baby. dress casual but comfortable" i said.

she nodded and held her hand out for the starbucks.

"i will give it to you when you finish getting ready cus if you have now your gonna wanna finish it first" i said.

"okay im gonna go shower" she said excitedly running upstairs. and that right there is why i keep going for her.

"aww she's so cute" leila said making me nod.

i held her hand and led her to our little set up. my  heart is literally beating out my chest.

"im not gone let you run into anything mama" i said as she held my tightly. she was wearing a bandana so ik she was scared of hitting something.

once we got there i saw my teammates, her teammates, my sister, her sister, and our parents.

"you can take it off mama" i said getting down on one knee. she took it off and looked around gasping.

"omg i love it baby" she whispered.

"gabby.. you and i both know we been through h*ll and back but i wouldn't have it any other way as long i got you. you're really everything i could ever ask for in a partner. and since day 1 ik you were the one. i love you more than words can express" i said looking up at her.

i could see the tears roll down her face.

"so baby.. will you marry me ?" i asked.

"yes i would love too" she whispered. i stood up and slid the ring on her finger, picking her up i spun her around.

"she said yes guys" i said.

"i love you so much" she said.

"i love you more" i said as we kissed.

"omg congratulations our babies" kelsey said hugging us.

"thank you guys" we said.

"and you sneaky cus that's why yall went on that little get to know each other date" gabby said to her sister making her giggle.

"congratulations baby" my mom said hugging me.

"thank you mommy" i said.

"finally" kiare said making me push her shoulder jokingly.

"wtv kiare" i said as we laughed.

"alright let's go celebrate. shots on me" syd yelled.

"H*LL YEAH" i yelled.

"jacquelyn noelle" my mom said hitting my shoulder.

"oops sorry mommy" i said laughing.

"man you ain't even have to use my full first & middle name" i said as everyone laughed.

we headed home and decided to order pizza and just drink at home. syd always keep a bottle of don julio with her lol.

"i can't wait to marry you" gabby said as we held hands.

"i can't wait to marry you mama" i smiled at her.

"so i sent out the invitations, found a wedding planner, and found the venue" i said making jackie smile.

"ohh baby you on yo sh** huh ?" she said.

"hy, when you excited to marry your person wedding planning come easy" i said making nod.

"guys why haven't i gotten an invitation ?" a'ja asked barging through the door.

"h** we was gone give it to yall individually" jackie said.

"oh okay my bad" she said giggling.

"like d*** give us time" i said laughing.

"im gonna door dash wing stop yall want some ?" she asked.

"yes please im hungry asf and wedding planning ain't for the weak" i said laughing.

"no fr my stomach growling loud as h*ll right now" jackie said.

she nodded and walked out. i sighed and rubbed my forehead. this wedding planning is fun but also a lot to try and do in a specific amount of time.

"you okay ?" jackie asked lookin up from her phone.

"mhm" i said still looking at my laptop. i could feel her staring at me.

she lightly grabbed my laptop making me look at her.

"hey give it, im not done" i whined.

"no baby you're stressing yourself out. look we have majority of it done don't stress my love your good" she said setting it on the nightstand.

"no you don't understand, i still have so many invitations to give out especially to-

she got on top of me and passionately kissed me making my heart jump, i rested my hands on her thighs.

"mama stop. it's okay i promise i will send them. stop stressing so much we got this" she said making me nod and smile.

"okay" i said.

"good now im gonna go shower you pick a movie love" she said getting off of me.

"okay" i said.

"so is kiare and leila still out and about ?? cus they both know they got my message and they ain't texting back" i asked.

"lol yeah kiare said their having a good time and not to text them or what not" jackie said laughing as she rolled her eyes.

after showering jackie got into bed beside me and i started the movie. i grabbed my oreos making her giggle.

"why you always laugh when i get oreos" i asked biting into one.

"i just think your addiction to them is cute" she said making giggle.

"you have cookie crumbs on your lips" she said wiping my lips.

"want one ?" i asked.

"no thank you baby. & give me those cus a'ja ordered us wing stop" she said taking them.

"no those are mine" i whined.

"girl imma give them back after you eat. keep eating these and your gonna get full" she said.

a few minutes later a'ja came with our food and we just ate and talked about the wedding. i still can't believe im engaged.
