"i said i was sorry gabby what else do you want from me ?" i asked.

"not sh** but for you to leave me the h*ll alone. your draining asf marine & im done" i said walking away. i rubbed my forehead idk if i wanna cry or if i just wanna punch something.

"hey you okay ?" my teammate asked.

"yeah im good preciate you for asking" i said.

"we're going out to eat later so make sure you come" she said and i nodded.

we just lost to usa for the gold medal and tbh it was heartbreaking but hey they earned it and i do have so many close friends in the w so im happy for them.

i went home to my apartment to shower and change for dinner. after getting dressed i headed to the restaurant where the team was.

when walking in i saw team USA sitting at a table. it's kind of embarrassing facing them especially since i just lost to them.

"GABBY HEY GIRL" jewell yelled coming over to me.

she's one of my best friends. especially since i played with the storm a couple of months ago. i hugged her tightly and she dragged me to her table.

"congratulations on the gold medal baby! im happy for you" i said hugging her tightly.

"thank you gabs.. and congratulations to you too. you did amazing should've played for us" she said making me laugh.

"yeah i know" i whined.

"oh guys yall remember my best friend gabby right ?" jewell asked. i shyly waved at them and looked down at my feet.

"girl you did amazing, you should've played with us" aja said.

"thank you girl.. and congratulations on the win guys" i said.

"thank youu" they said and i nodded.

"jack can she sit by you it's the only seat open" jewell asked.

"oh yeah ofc" she said smiling.

i sat down by her and i could feel everyone staring at me.

"what ? are you guys gonna pull out your gold medals & tease me with it ?" i asked making them laugh.

"girl ofc not, we just wanna know if you gone come back to the w" alyssa said.

"idk i've been thinking about it tho. i miss my fan base honestly and i miss playing with and against you guys" i said.

"so jack are you gonna speak to her ? rude ahh" chelsea said.

"oh no it's fine" i said.

"im not rude.. just shy lol i didn't know what to say other than you did really good today" she smiled.

"that's okay i get it" i said.

"you were a little shy too i noticed" she said making me giggle.

"it's not embarrassing! it happens you played yo heart out and that's all that matters" she said touching my thigh.

"come back home we miss you" she said making me giggle.

"i really been thinking about real talk" i said.

"oh lord she finna come back to the w and give us that work again" brittany said.

"oh bihh" i said as everyone laughed.

"that was so backsided and i aint even worried about that no more.. i never even fouled that girl but okay" i said shrugging.

"yall let's go explore before we gotta head back to the u.s. and play more basketball" stewie said making us laugh.

we got dressed and headed out to explore.

"gabby said she's gonna come and give us a tour" aja said.

we met up with gabby and some people split ways because they wanted to go different places from other people.

"so gabby is there a lover ??" aja asked.

"nope im single" she said laughing.

"how are you and bam ?" she asked making everyone snicker.

"oh see you being messy now" aja said.

"single lol. im not a relationship type person cus im shy but i mean i don't mind finding my person" i said.

we walked into a restaurant gabby recommended and the food looked so good my mouth is already watering.
