Nine months later...
A heavily pregnant Kyra was busy cursing the sleeping Ahaan. The nine months for the couple had been amazing yet tiring. From her mood swings to her cravings, Ahaan took care of her in the best of ways possible and didn't let a chance come where Kyra would be at discomfort.
But now, she'd had enough. Already, nine months were completed, and she was in her 40th week, but the baby wasn't agreeing to come out of its mother's womb.
Only she knows how she deals with the massive stomach where she would have to pee in every five minutes as the baby had made himself at home on top of her bladder.
"Ahaan." She said sweetly to her husband, who was busy sleeping like a log.
"Ky, I promise I'll make pasta for you in the morning. But for now, you and the baby need sleep. So, why don't we sleep together, huh?" He said in a hoarse voice, without even opening his eyes.
"But who said I crave pasta right now?" Kyra furrowed her perfect eyebrows.
"So the baby finally decided to grace us with its presence?" Ahaan asked excitedly, who was now wide awake.
"I wish." Kyra grumbled in response.
"Is your back paining then?" He asked in a soft voice as he knew very well how badly the third trimester had been for her with the immense back pains.
"Nope." Kyra shook her head adorably.
"You want me, right?" Ahaan smirked, raising his eyebrows in a mischievous manner.
"Nope." She again shook her head, and he pouted.
"I want to have ice cream!" This time, her eyes were twinkling in excitement.
"Chocolate one." She ended with a satisfying smile.
"It's just beside you, Kyra. Why didn't you take it from there already?" He grumbled, pointing to the mini fridge he'd arranged for her midnight cravings.
"But it's empty. There is no ice cream." Kyra pouted.
"I'll get it for you." He muttered, getting up from the bed.
"There's some in the fridge downstairs. I remember." She shouted to him, who was making his way outside the bedroom.
"Thank goodness." She swears she heard him say.
A couple of minutes later, her fully awake husband returned back to their room and placed the bowl of chocolate ice cream on her lap. Her smile didn't stop for a second.
"Here." She muttered forwarding a spoon full of ice cream in his direction, and he obliged eating it.
No matter whatever Kyra would be eating for her pregnancy cravings whether it would include the weird combination of mayonnaise and icecream or chocolate and cheese together, she would not forget to make Ahaan taste the same or let's just say eat with her the same that too with the same spoon. And Ahaan, being the sweetheart he was for Kyra, would never fuss about it and happily oblige to each demand of hers whether it would even include making homemade pasta for her at 1AM in the midnight.
"I'll taste it anyways." He mumbled, crashing down his lips on hers for a heart fluttering kiss.
His lips trailed down her collarbone, where there were already multiple of hickeys given by him. He would be happy seeing his marks every time on his wife.
"I can't control. You should stop doing these things now, Ahaan." Kyra moaned at his assault.
"I can't either when it comes to you." He groaned, tracing her swollen lip.
"Ready to be a baby daddy? I am sure in a few days, we'll be playing with our cute little baby." Kyra said, dreamily.
"As ready as I will ever be baby mama." He smirked, placing his hand on her belly in a comforting manner.
"Come out soon, little one. Your Mom and Dad can't wait to meet you." He whispered, pulling his shirt which she was wearing, displaying her extremely swollen belly.
"The baby knows when you're around." Kyra grumbled as the baby kicked inside.
"Rest, little one." He whispered, kissing her stomach, and Kyra giggled.
"Our baby doesn't like to sleep at night." Kyra said, knowing her nights when she would barely sleep.
"Ahaan, when will it come out?" Kyra asked, now frustrated as ever.
"And what is 'it'?" Ahaan questioned back.
"This baby who has been stuck here since nine fucking months and all thanks to you." This time, she shouted, pointing a finger at a flustered Ahaan.
"But baby, we decided it in the beginning itself that we'll let everything happen naturally. I swear I didn't do anything intentionally." He said with hesitation, smiling a little to his angry wife.
"Awww, I love you so much." She cooed at her husband, anger long lost forgotten.
"I love you too." He mumbled, pecking her lips.
"Damn, I can't control myself." He continued looking at her with darkened eyes.
"We can't." She breathed out, placing her head on his chest, still busy devouring the ice cream.
"But I heard it helps in the early birth of the baby." He said, looking serious as ever.
"That's not needed now." She panted.
"Why?" He questioned in confusion.
"Because my water has broken." She replied, gulping while pointing to the mess beneath her.
"T-the I-I B-baby..." He stuttered when a loud slap landed on his head.
"Fucking help me, you idiot before I murder you!" She threatened, looking scary as ever.
"Shit, sorry. Here." He muttered, lifting her in his arms.
He ran to the direction of the door, picking up the car keys and his wallet in the process. He was nervous to no extent right now.
"Oh my god, Ahaan! Do you want to go to the hospital naked?" Kyra yelled in frustration to him, who was only in his boxers.
He grumbled something under his breath, which she wasn't able to catch, and made her sit on the armchair, running to the closet only to return after 2 minutes, this time fully dressed.
"Let's go." He said, lifting her again.
"I swear to God, Ahaan, if you didn't drive the car fast time or if the baby doesn't come out the next moment, I'll strangle you." She cried, clutching onto his shirt.
"Relax, baby. Deep breaths." He pacified, placing her down on the passenger seat of his car.
"What is there to relax about you idiot?" She yelled as a big contraction hit her, paining like anything.
The panicked Ahaan kept pacifying his wife as he knew Kyra was in immense pain, all because of him. Why did she have to go through this? He couldn't help but to think of.
She cursed loudly as another contraction hit her, and this time, she couldn't even do anything to stop the pain.
"Just a few more minutes, baby." He said, looking concerned as ever.
"Why did we have to live in a city like this?" She cried, clutching onto his free arm, and Ahaan let her do anything, no matter her nails were digging in his skin.
"Ky, just think about the fact we are going to be parents in a few hours. Can you believe it?" Ahaan asked, trying to divert her mind.
"Oh yeah. I can't believe I'll have to deal with two babies now. First you and then our cute little creation." She said with a faint smile, breathing heavily.
"First of all, I am not a baby. And secondly, we have reached." He said, getting out of the car in a hurry to her side.
"My cute little pregnant wife. Shit, this is going to change soon." He cooed to the crying Kyra in his arms.
"Shut the hell up before I make you!" She yelled. Mood swings common as ever with her.
The nurses and doctor soon arrived, noticing the ready as ever Kyra for labor. Ahaan didn't leave Kyra's hand for a second and even asked the doctor to accompany her inside the delivery room or let's just say more like threatened to shut their hospital down if they didn't allow him.
"Deep breaths." He said, caressing her hair while the staff was busy preparing for the delivery.
"I am calm enough to kill you right now." She breathed out heavily, and Ahaan gulped in response.
"You know, we're going to have a girl." He said, trying to distract her as Kyra would always get irked when he would start bashing about the baby being a girl.
"No, it will definitely be a boy. Mother instincts, I tell you." She argued, forgetting about her contractions.
"Baby, I am telling you it's going to be a girl." Ahaan said with a big smile.
"Nurse, can you please get this man out of the room." She said to a nurse who was checking her vitals, gesturing to her husband, Ahaan.
The nurse chuckled, seeing the couple argue. All they had been doing since 30 minutes is to argue, bicker and Kyra lashing out on Ahaan every next minute. The staff was having good entertainment, seeing a couple like them where the wife is busy strangling her husband, who is certainly a billionaire and the top businessman.
"I am not going anywhere." Ahaan declared.
"Yes, you are until you say we are going to have a boy." She grinned.
"Of course we are going to have a baby boy. This is what I was saying since the beginning." He let out a nervous chuckle, and Kyra grinned even more where the nurses and doctors chuckled at the situation.
"It's time." The doctor announced, and Kyra nodded her head in excitement while Ahaan gulped.
"I love you, baby. You're going to do amazing." He whispered, placing a comforting kiss on her forehead, and Kyra smiled back.
Thirty minutes later, Kyra's screams had increased to a point where Ahaan's heart was clenching at her every pain.
"You're doing amazing, baby." He whispered to her while his hand was busy holding hers.
Her nails were digging in his palms, but his pain was nothing compared to what Kyra was feeling.
"I can't. I can't take this anymore. I am gonna die soon." Kyra groaned, tired like anything with the shattering pain.
"Stop saying that, Kyra. You can do it, baby. You're so strong, right." Ahaan nodded encouragingly.
"Remember this, I am not letting you come anywhere near me. I will kill -" She cried as another contraction hit her.
"One last push, Mrs. Kapoor." The doctor nodded, seeing her condition.
"Last push, right? One, two, and three." Ahaan encouraged placing a kiss on her forehead, and this time, Kyra pushed with every bit of strength left in her.
Her scream subsided down slowly, but then it was replaced by a crying of baby.
And this was the moment when the small bundle of their joy entered their lives.
"You did it, baby." Ahaan whispered to Kyra, who closed her eyes, tired as ever.
"I love you, and I am so proud of you." He mumbled, kissing her forehead.
Even in this condition, she didn't forget or resisted to reply back to the statement.
"I love you too." She mumbled, drowning into a slumber after such a tiring task and truckloads of pain.
"Kyra?" Ahaan asked, panicked seeing his wife in this state, and patted her cheeks.
"Don't worry, Mr. Kapoor. She's tired and she needs the rest." The doctor assured, and he nodded his head understandingly.
The baby was taken away for cleaning even before he could meet, but he didn't leave Kyra for a second and sat beside her, holding her hand in a comforting manner. No matter how many children they are going to have or how close he is to everyone and his family members, Kyra is always his first priority and will always be.

A tired as ever yet excited Kyra finally woke up after a three hour labor following with a couple of hours of sleep when Ahaan was busy cradling his sleeping son in his arms.
"Ky." She heard Ahaan's voice, and a smile reached up on her face.
"Ahaan, my baby? It's a boy, right?" She asked wide awake, looking excited as ever.
"It's definitely a boy. Here." He replied with a smile, placing down the newborn baby in her hands whom he hadn't left since the nurse gave him.
"My gosh, he's so cute. I can't believe we made this." She grinned, cooing the little one in her hands.
"I told you we're going to have a boy and look here's my son." She said, her eyes glistening with tears.
"Our son." He nodded, kissing her temple.
"I did so much effort for nothing. He looked at your younger version when I was the one who kept him in my uterus for nine months. It should have been you." She grumbled, still cooing down her son.
"Oh my god, look. He just smiled." Kyra said, smiling brightly.
"I can predict he's going to be a mama's boy." He returned the smile, grazing his finger lightly on the newborn's cheek.
"Damn. Even his eyes are just like yours." Kyra complained adorably.
"Jealous much?" He smirked.
"Jealous much." She nodded while grinning, agreeing with her husband.
What was even there to lie about when it comes to her baby?
"He took the best of my genes." Ahaan stated proudly.
"That only includes the looks. He'll be the sweetest just like me, I am telling you." Kyra praised herself.
"Cocky much?" He asked with a smile.
"Cocky much." She nodded.
The ringing of Ahaan's phone made the couple separate from each other's arm, and he picked it instantly, which displayed an incoming call from Dhruv.
"Hello." Ahaan said as soon as he picked the call.
"Later. Show me my nephew this second." Was Dhruv's first words.
Ahaan chuckled and accepted the video call request from his side, directing the camera towards his sleeping son in his Mom's arms.
"He's so cute. He looks just like you, Ahaan." Dhruv said, looking at his nephew.
"Right, no? He should've looked like me, and things would've been much better." Kyra grumbled, nodding.
"We can always try for another one." Ahaan winked at his wife, who shushed him immediately.
"Stop it, you two. You're disturbing a newborn and a sleeping baby. Do you even know the consequences of it? No, right? But don't worry Ahaan, I'll give you the first time father classes. For free." Dhruv said, ending with a satisfying smile.
"I guess I need that." Ahaan scratched the back of his head, and Kyra giggled.
"Where is Sarah? And my niece?" She asked, grinning at the last part.
"Sarah's actually sleeping as Inaaya basically didn't let her the whole night, and now she herself is awake and energized as ever." Dhruv replied, forwarding his camera towards his 6 month old daughter who was lying down on the bed, lost in her dreamland.
"Aww, I hope he won't do this me." Kyra said, looking at her son, who was busy sleeping.
"I prayed the same, but you know it happened anyways." Dhruv shrugged.
"How are you, Kyru? Everything is good, right?" This time, concern was evident on Dhruv's face, and Kyra smiled at her elder brother's protectiveness.
"Yeah. Everything is good." She nodded, smiling in contentment.
"Don't do this, Inaaya." Dhruv cooed to his daughter, who had ruined her sheets, turning around the place she was laying on.
This was the beginning of a loud cry that was heard from the phone, and Ahaan instantly made a safe distance from his son so as to he wasn't able to hear it.
"What the hell, Dhruv!" Sarah's shoutings were heard from the other end.
"What happened?" Ahaan asked in a low voice.
"I just invited my death over." Dhruv grumbled while the crying of Inaaya had subsided by now, and the voice of Sarah scolding Dhruv could be heard, a sight normal as ever.
"I'll talk to you guys later." He mumbled, hanging up the call while Ahaan shook his head at the pair.
Kyra was busy gawking at her son, who was now wide awake and looking at his mother so intently that it made her heart flutter with immense joy.
'My son.' Was something she kept thinking in her mind while looking at him.
"I love you, wifey. This is the best gift of my life which you have given me." He said, looking at her with love and care.
"I love you too. And this was the best gift which you gave me as well in the first place." She winked, and a throaty chuckle left his mouth.
He captured her lips in his, and she didn't waste any second to respond, but it wasn't a second later when a loud cry of baby made them separate from each other.
It was none other than the little bundle of joy in Kyra's arms who couldn't bear even a minute with zero attention directed towards him.
Kyra and Ahaan shushed and cradled the baby together with the utmost care and affection, and it wasn't after long that he'd slept on the chest of his mother.
"Now, where were we?" Ahaan smirked, capturing his wife's lips for the second time.
Kyra giggled, and as soon as she tried to respond, another loud crying made them separate for the second time.
Ahaan groaned loudly, and Kyra chuckled.
"Get used to it, Mr. Kapoor." Kyra teased him.
"I can't wait, Mrs. Kapoor." He smirked back, getting back to cradle the newborn.
And this is how the little bundle of joy entered into their life, bringing immense happiness who from now didn't leave a moment to get attention from his parents.
