Cʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 20 | Tʜᴇ Aɢɪᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ

Warm breath, light tickles made me stir in the favourite activity of mine that is sleeping. I could hear muffled laughs, paddling of foots on the marble floor and whisperings. I still kept my eyes closed wondering what'll be the next step of these idiots.

"Caught ya!" I exclaimed holding a hand which was in front of me with a feather.

A voice screamed and I recognized it as Meera meaning she was tickling me.

"So?" I glared at the three idiots in my room.

"We just wanted to have some fun. It's the last day we'll be together." Sarah pouted.

"What do you mean?" I frowned sitting up on the bed.

"Babe, you are getting married today meaning we'll be apart from now on. You are going to live with Ahaan and we all would go our ways." Sarah replied.

"I didn't even think about that part." I muttered yawning.

"I am going to miss you guys so much." I said, my eyes glistening with tears.

"Aww, I am going to miss you too." Meera said hugging me.

"Wait guys! It won't make a difference. Meera, you live in Australia so I am used to being away from you. Sarah, you live in Mumbai itself so it'll be the same. And Nitya, you are studying in Hyderabad since 2 years so it'll the the same for another 3 years." I said jumping out of the bed.

"Oh shut up. We were trying to have such a beautiful moment but you ruined everything. Again." Sarah said glaring at me.

"Don't worry bro. I am sure I'll cry tonight. So join me at that time." I said patting her shoulder.

"You still haven't grown up at all. You're the same as your teenage." Meera said shaking her head.

"Well it's a good thing isn't it." I replied making myself a coffee from the small kitchen in the suite.

Taking the mug in my hand, I stepped out in the balcony feeling the morning breeze. My hair were flowing in every direction blocking the view of the sea. I stood by the support of the railing drinking my coffee in breaks.

As I was finished with my morning coffee, I again got back inside the room. Sarah and Nitya were discussing about what all they are going to do today in the evening and Meera was busy with her phone.

"Fucking piece of shit." Meera shouted throwing her phone on the bed.

"What happened?" I questioned taking my clothes from my suitcase.

"My boss happened. I don't know what is the problem with this man." Meera huffed.

"Well then we are lucky in this case as we are the CEOs." Sarah said.

"How better I feel now listening to this." Meera said dramatically and Sarah gulped.

"So what will we be doing today?" I asked placing hands on my hips.

"What do you mean what are we going to today? You'll have to get ready in the evening for the wedding which is the biggest task itself." Sarah replied.

I sighed and nodded my head.

"Oh My God. I am so excited for today's evening guys!" Nitya shouted plopping down on one of the chairs.

"Yeah. Today is the most important function. The wedding. I already have the best dress prepared for the day." Meera said.

"No, we still have reception the next day in Delhi." I frowned.

"Yeah we do. But I am sure there will be more businessman and their stupid wives than our family members." Meera replied.

"True. But guess what? There will be so many bachelors and I am going to pick the best of them." Nitya said.

I scrunched my eyebrows.

"You're 20." I deadpanned.

"You're saying this because you're getting married today. Don't you remember in Alia's wedding when you were dragging me after hot guys?" Sarah said.

"We were 17 back then. It used to be fun for us." I replied.

"Okay. And in the same way we are going to go after men. I also need to find the best ones for Meera and Sarah." Nitya replied crossing her arms.

"Count me in Nitya. It's been so long since I had a boyfriend." Meera replied.

"Yeah me too." I muttered.

"Are you serious bitch? It's your wedding day for God's sake!" Sarah raised her voice.

"Geez! Are you high or what?" I asked gulping.

She grumbled something under her breath and moved out in the balcony. I have no idea what is going on with her.

"The makeup artists and hairstylist must be about to arrive." Meera said checking her outfit for the evening.

"The same?" I questioned plopping down on the bed.

"Yeah, the same." She replied.

"Meera, answer me this okay?" I called.

"Shoot." She grumbled.

"When are you planning to get married? It's been a long time since your breakup." I asked.

"Are you crazy? Who gets married at 25? I will wait atleast for 5 more years and for a good guy." She replied.

"I will wait atleast for 5 more years." I mimicked sticking my tongue out at her.

"Your Mom was talking with mine about your marriage. They were seated beside me and she was like I really need to find a good guy for Meera as you basically live apart from everyone." I replied remembering the moment.

"Are you serious? Man, I really need to stop Mom before she starts matchmaking." She huffed.

"You know what guys, she basically has a jackpot here. Just think how many people are going to be in this wedding and reception. I am sure she'll find a perfect guy for you. And if she doesn't then I'll surely do." Nitya laughed loudly.

I chuckled hearing this and Meera glared at her threateningly.

"You know it won't affect me right. I am used to your glares." Nitya said flicking her hair.

And that's how both of them started their fight which included punches, swearing, slaps and many threats. I was laughing continuously seeing the scene.

As I made my way towards the washroom to pee, out of nowhere Sarah pushed me aside with one of her hand while the other was holding her mouth and ran inside the washroom locking the door.

I frowned in confusion. What is happening to her since two days?

It was finally evening and my look was completed and it was the first time I saw myself in the mirror as a Bride.

"Stunning."

"Gorgeous."

"Beautiful."

I heard all three of them saying simultaneously while admiring my look.

A full smile blowned my face and everyone smiled back at me while hugging and Sarah had a whole different look which was of adoration. I know what she was thinking.

"You'll make me cry if you'll keep seeing like this." I muttered.

"No please. You'll ruin your makeup." Nitya shouted.

I nodded my head, sniffing silently.

"You know I am sure that you three are going to find yourselves the best guys seeing how you're looking." I said looking at these three.

They laughed at my words.

Knock

Knock

"Is it time?" I asked trying to control my excitement.

"No, we still have around thirty minutes." Sarah replied frowning.

Nitya went ahead to open the door and it revealed two guys who looked in their mid twenties with cameras in their hands.

"Ma'am we are here to take some photos. Hope you are done with everything?" One of them asked.

I nodded my head and they started their work. For five minutes they took my single photos in the room itself in different poses. I was feeling so excited doing these things. They took several pictures of me with Sarah, Meera and Nitya and a lot of pictures with different poses which included all four of us.

We all even did some crazy poses and they even called my other cousins and friends who reached today. There was continuous chatting, bickering, teasing going on and one could even hear it from far away. I was so happy with and everything was going so well that I couldn't believe that it was my wedding.

"Come on guys, it's time for the bridal party to show it's presence." Meera shouted over making everyone hoot.

It's time.

We all started going in the direction of the venue where the wedding was decided. From a distance I could hear loud noises of large number of people, songs playing in the background, Children's laughter, ladies gossiping and many more. I was getting nervous each second, wondering how I am going to react seeing so many people together on my wedding.

Suddenly everyone stopped which I assumed is the entrance. I could hear faint announcement about the Bride's arrival which certainly is me and I was panicking even more. It was decorated so beautifully with white and golden which I assumed is the theme. Number of chandeliers at every point could be seen and the scent of flowers caused a feeling of relaxation in me.

"Kyra." I heard a voice from behind.

Turning around I saw Dad and Mom standing with a proud smile on their face. They came forward in my direction and Mom directly hugged me.

"You look so beautiful Kyra. I am so happy seeing you like this." Mom said eyes glistening with tears.

"Don't cry Mom. You only said before that there will be no crying on my wedding." I said wiping the tears from her eyes.

She nodded and patted my head.

I turned towards Dad and I could see how badly he was stopping himself with the tears.

"Dad." I said and hugged him tightly which he returned.

"Kyra, I am so proud of you. I am so thankful for having a daughter like you." Dad said.

"Dad please don't. You know I don't want to be emotional on my wedding day." I said looking at him sternly in the eyes.

"Family hug!" Dhruv shouted coming out of nowhere and wrapped his hefty arms around us causing all three of us to laugh and we hugged tightly.

"I love you guys." I muttered parting my body from them.

"We know." All three of them replied cockily and I whined.

"Come on, we need to get you inside. Everyone's waiting for the Bride." Dhruv said glancing at his wrist watch.

I nodded my head trying to calm my nerves. Dad took my arm and wrapped around his own squeezing me with comfort. I replied with a dazzling smile to lift his mood and he smiled back. I wanted him to know that I didn't feel pressured from his side.

My bridal party came and stood beside me and I called out for Dhruv to stand beside my other side. He might be the most annoying creature on this planet but he was the most important to me.

The whole time my nervousness was on another level as we were walking ahead and everyone on the way was passing me an admiring or adore look.

As I took my last step of the entrance, there came a beautiful setup in front of my eyes and I could hear the host shouting about the Bride's entry and simultaneously a song was playing around to which everyone was dancing.

My eyes were searching for the person who is important just as me for the day. The hundreds of pairs of eyes that were bestowed directly upon me, murmurs, compliments and what not didn't even matter at that point. When my gaze landed in the center of the venue, I recognized the stage filled with the Groom's family and friends. And the very next moment my eyes landed upon the person who will be my forever from now, my fiance Ahaan and my breath hitched.

Kill me now.

They're getting married nowwww
