"No! I don't want a destination wedding. I have no interest in taking all the baggage far away from Delhi. Either choose a venue in Delhi or somewhere near it." I said, crossing my arms.

Sitting in the living room four days later of my engagement, Ahaan and I were trying to plan our wedding.

Keyword: Trying

Both of us were adamant since half an hour on our choices. He wants a destination wedding whereas I am interested in our city. He wants modern decorations whereas I am okay with basic ones.

"What's the problem in destination wedding? You've always wanted a small and cozy wedding. And now when I want the same, you're saying you want something else." Ahaan exasperated.

"Small? Cozy wedding you say? I am sure of it that you and Dad will invite minimum 1000 guests. And that too on my destination wedding. It's not happening." I said.

"Of course we are bound to invite 1000 guests to least. We both are businessman and both of our families are big. So there are going to be numerous of guests." He replied as if it's a normal thing.

"That's my point. I don't want 1000 guests on my destination wedding. So for this I have come up with a solution that is to have our wedding in Delhi only. There won't be much of a problem." I declared.

"Not Delhi. This place is at the bottom of my priority list." He said.

"You know you're behaving like a child right now. You should be okay with what I am choosing as it's good for both of us. You'll get to invite all of your guests and I'll be happy with having my wedding in my hometown." I said.

"I am not behaving like a child." He playfully glared at me.

"Don't tell me you just heard that part of what I actually said." I muttered.

He sheepishly smiled at me and I huffed in annoyance.

We aren't even married yet and we are having clash in decisions. I wonder what's going to happen in future.

"So how's the planning by far?" All of a sudden, Dhruv asked slumping down beside Ahaan.

"When did you arrive?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Just now. And what's with you? Why does it seem to me that you're annoyed?" Dhruv asked.

"Nothing." I replied massaging my forehead with my fingers.

"Then there's definitely something. You tell me Ahaan, what's the matter?" Dhruv asked.

"We both are not able to decide whether we should have a destination wedding or in the same city. She wants the wedding to be conducted in Delhi and I want somewhere far away." Ahaan replied.

"So what's the issue in this? Just do it somewhere in between. Like a destination wedding but somewhere in India, near Delhi where you both can have your choices." Dhruv shrugged.

Ahaan and I snapped our heads in Dhruv's direction with our mouth wide open.

"Please guys, I just gave you an idea. Don't kill me for this. I am not even married yet and what'll happen to my unborn children." Dhruv shrieked.

"Shut up idiot." I muttered.

"Yeah man. You just gave an amazing idea. We are surely going to do something like this." Ahaan said.

"Thank God. I was scared for my life for a second." Dhruv muttered.

"Okay, you can leave us now." I said pointing at Dhruv.

"What? I am not leaving you guys. I specially came here for helping in the preparations and you're sending me away." Dhruv said.

"Okay then don't mind us." I said and sat beside Ahaan. Too close.

For a minute he seemed confused by the way I was acting, but then he understood as he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer.

Dhruv shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

I muffled my laughter by placing my head in the crook of Ahaan's neck. In reaction, he placed his hand at the back of my head and stroked my hair and kissed top of it. Although it was all to irritate Dhruv, but this closeness with Ahaan was making me feel something weird. My body feels sparks when he touches me and the warmth which I experience from Ahaan soothes me to no extent.

"Get a room you two." Shouting this, Dhruv got up and exited the mansion.

I chuckled at his retreating back and Ahaan too joined me.

"So?" I asked after sometime.

"So?" Ahaan repeated.

"Not this." I sighed.

"Not this." He again repeated.

"I am an idiot." I said.

"You're an idiot." He replied.

I glared at him and he chuckled seeing my reaction. I poked on his nose and in return he shook his head at me. He always used to tell me not to poke his nose and just to irritate him, I always used to do that. Remembering it I again poked at him and he smiled mischievously at me.

I frowned in confusion.

He came in front of me, bent down on my level and started ticking me. He knows I am very ticklish and still he's doing this.

"St-op." I said clutching my stomach in between my laughs.

"Nope." He replied and continued to tickle me everywhere.

"No- Ahaan." I screamed, trying to push him away from me, but he wasn't even budging.

"First say I am the most handsome man in the world." He said in between tickling.

"I- am the most handsome man in the world." I said and laughed throwing my head back.

"You did another mistake." He said and started tickling me more.

"Okay Okay. Ahaan is the most handsome man in the world." I surrendered and he stopped tickling me.

"Why thank you. Although I knew it." He replied and smiled playfully at me.

I glared at him and threw a punch on his bicep. In return he raised an eyebrow at me.

"You know right it's not affecting me to least." Ahaan said.

"Why do you need to be this strong." I pouted.

He chuckled and slumped down beside me on the couch.

Soon we started discussing everything regarding the wedding. We were finally able to agree upon the same things and also we tried to think about each other as well.

Currently I was getting ready for an outing with Ahaan. In the afternoon when he had to leave regarding business, he asked me to get ready by 7 because he'll be picking me up. I couldn't even say no because he asked me so nicely.

My phone dinged and I noticed it was a text from Ahaan.

'I am waiting outside. Come soon <3'

'Okay.' I replied and ran downstairs.

"Why are you running Kyra? Slow down, what's the hurry?" Mom asked from the kitchen.

"Ahaan is waiting for me outside. We are going somewhere." I replied.

"So, you've finally understood how good this boy is." Mom said with a known expression.

I frowned at her but didn't reply.

Kissing her cheek I ran outside not before shouting 'bye' to which she replied the same.

Outside, Ahaan was in the driveway leaning against his car dressed in casual clothes which he wasn't in the morning.

"Hey!" I chirped happily.

"Hey there. Missed me?" He asked hugging me and I hugged him back.

"Nope." I replied parting away.

"You're definitely lying." He said with raised eyebrows.

"Where are we going anyways?" I asked.

"You'll get to know soon." He replied and made me sit on the passenger seat and took the driver's.

The tires of the car screeched down making it stop in front of the mall.

"You brought me here for shopping?" I asked with raised eyebrows.

Although shopping is never enough for girls, but still I had a lot of clothes and I wasn't in mood of it. On top of it we'd already done it before.

"No." He replied.

"But then why are we here?" I frowned.

"You're really impatient. Just wait till we go inside." He said.

"You're really impatient." I muttered mimicking him.

Taking my hand in his, he lead us inside the mall. It was full of people, some with family, some with friends and some with their partners just like us. It had full hustle bustle going on.

Reaching up to the third floor by the lift, I was confused because almost every shop is down the floors and this floor included movie theatres and game zone. Thinking that he might have bought me here for a movie, I was satisfied because it had been so long since I have watched a movie.

After minutes we stopped in front of a door. Loud sounds of laughter, shouts, and gaming could be heard from outside.

Entering, my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe that Ahaan could think about this as our date.

A freaking Arcade Zone!

It means he still remembers those moments when all of us would come here in the same mall.

I noticed this place had changed quite a lot with new machines, games and better environment. But we used to enjoy so much even at that time.

Flashback:

It was Aarav's birthday today so for the party, he booked a hall in one of the malls in Delhi. He had invited all of his close friends including Dhruv, Ahaan, Sarah and I.

I was pretty excited because it was the first time we were going to his birthday celebration as our parents wouldn't let us go earlier, us being young. He turned 18 this year so it was still a normal teenage party.

About Ahaan, after the kiss when I ran away from him, the school had gotten over so I'd directly went to my home. The next day when I arrived in school, I was tensed, but Ahaan conversed with me casually as if nothing had happened. To be honest I was a bit hurt, but it was my doing which caused this. Only if I hadn't done that.

Only 30 minutes were left for the party and as Dhruv would take me with him, he wouldn't waste another minute so I quickly got dressed in a black off shoulder dress that reached above my thighs. It was a decent one and would be perfect for the party as I didn't want to dress over the top. Further I wore my beige boots and with straightened hair, my look was complete.

Reaching the venue, I was instantly enveloped in a hug by Sarah. I hugged her back and waved at Ahaan. It had been 10 minutes since we've arrived here and all four of us were chatting and bickering like normal days. I was impatiently waiting for Aarav to be free as he was currently busy with his other friends. There were around 10 people, 7 of which boys and 3 girls. He was laughing with them, but I didn't fail to notice one of the girls clinging onto him. He was too engrossed in talking with the guys that he didn't even notice that girl standing beside him and holding his arm as if she's his girlfriend.

Is she really?

I demand answers from my best friend.

Minutes later, I noticed him coming in our direction and soon he stood in front of us wearing a tshirt and jeans with leather jacket. He was looking real good.

My complete focus was on Ahaan who was dressed in a black shirt with dark washed jeans and sneakers. With his hair gelled back and sleeved rolled up to his elbow, he didn't look less than a piece of meat to be gobbled upon.

"Happy Birthday!" All four of us shouted in unison at him and he chuckled.

Hugging all four of us one after the other, we gave him his gifts which we'd brought. For the past 5 minutes all 5 of us were chatting casually standing in a circle with Ahaan by one of my side and Aarav on the other. Out of nowhere the same girl who was clinging to Aarav came and stood beside him again. He politely introduced us to her and vice-versa. I learnt that her name was Isha and she is a childhood friend of Aarav who'd shifted to another city but came to surprise him for the day.

I was continuously frowning because this girl had least manners. Since she has come here, she's flirting with all three guys Ahaan, Dhruv and Aarav. I know for a fact that these guys are good-looking teenagers, but still I was feeling left out.

"Wanna come with me?" Sarah whispered in my ears.

I nodded and followed her.

She took me to a secluded corner of the hall and she had the same look as me.

"Do you feel the same as I am right now?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.

"I meant that just look at that girl Isha. Since 10 minutes her flirting hasn't stopped and I am getting irritated by every second. I feel kinda unwanted here." She voiced out her thoughts.

"Even I am feeling quite the same." I replied quietly.

"Yeah. Just wait and watch what I am going to do with Dhruv and Ahaan. How dare they flirt back with her?" Sarah said raising her voice at the end.

"Count me in dude." I chuckled.

"You noticed her behaviour? And not to forget her attitude?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah. I felt that she was kinda glaring at us that we were so frank with three of them. And as if she wanted us to leave. We did the same though, left them." I replied, shrugging.

"Hmm. I thought that she'll try to be our friend considering Aarav is her old friend and all of us are kinda close now." Sarah said.

"Yeah, but we can't do anything about them being like this. Let's just find something for us on our own." I suggested.

"Cool." She replied.

As soon as those words came out of her mouth, I noticed some guys approaching us.

"Hey! What are you both doing here in the corner, away from everyone?" One of them asked.

I smirked at Sarah and she smirked back at me understanding what I was thinking. When those 3 can enjoy Isha's company why can't we have fun with these guys?

"Hey." I drawled out.

"Hey there sweet-cheek." Another one said and I internally cringed at my nick name. He could've come up with something better.

Not drawling upon the fact much, both Sarah and I continued conversing with them. They told us their names which were Rohan, Kunal, Rishi and Ansh. To be honest they were a good company. We didn't feel uncomfortable for a second and all of them kept entertaining us with their jokes and bickering. Two of them even had girlfriends who couldn't come due to some reason. Just because of them we were back on our track and didn't even realise when 30 minutes had passed.

"I have to say you both are such a company. I was hesitant at first to approach you but I am glad I did." Kunal commented.

"I am glad too." I said and all of them nodded.

"Guys, where were you since half n hour. I thought something happened to you." I heard someone say and looking past these guys I noticed it was Dhruv, Aarav and Ahaan coming in our direction.

"We aren't kids anymore that you need to keep an eye on us 24/7." I replied and it came out more rude than I meant.

Dhruv still hasn't gotten over the fact that he's not our babysitter anymore. Our parents used to appoint Dhruv as our babysitter whenever they had any work. So Sarah and I had always been under his care.

He frowned and stood beside me wrapping an arm on my shoulder.

"Boyfriend?" Rishi questioned.

Dhruv and I laughed at this. Even though we looked nothing alike and we have basically nothing in common between us but still he's ny idiot brother.

"No! He's my brother." I replied regaining my composure.

"Ohh." They all nodded in understanding.

"Come on, let's get you both a drink." Ansh said.

Sarah and I immediately nodded our heads.

"No!" Dhruv shouted.

I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

"I mean you guys don't need to bother. Ahaan and I will get them whatever they need." Dhruv said and nudged Ahaan.

Ahaan being Ahaan was lost in his world and muttered and 'oomph'.

"Yeah yeah we'll get." Ahaan replied now paying full attention to what's going on.

"Why? Did Isha finally leave you guys alone?" I questioned.

"Jealous much?" Ahaan asked.

"Not at all. To be honest we were enjoying before you guys came." I replied plainly.

All three of them looked slightly offended and the 4 of them smiled at us.

"Enough. You both are coming with us now." Dhruv said suddenly showing his protectiveness.

"I think I'll pass." Sarah said.

"Me too." I replied.

"We didn't ask for your opinion." Dhruv said.

Okay?

Now from where did this sudden protectiveness came from? Just as Isha left, they remembered us otherwise they would have still been with her.

With this Dhruv dragged Sarah by her wrist and Ahaan caught mine and followed them.

I couldn't believe this. Those guys were Aarav's friends and yet they both did in front of them. Minutes before when they were talking with Isha, both of us were okay with it and excused ourselves. And when finally we've found someone they are doing this shit.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I raised my voice when they'd finally stopped somewhere.

"No swearing." Dhruv warned.

"Oh shut up. Why can't you guys let us be happy? When you were talking with Isha, we were okay. But no, you guys won't let us enjoy in return." I said.

"You won't believe how badly Dhruv and I wanted to get away from her. We were being polite at the start but didn't you notice our expression the next moment?" Ahaan explained.

"No. We got way bored by then so we just got away from there and met those guys later on." Sarah said.

"Okay let's just leave this topic right here. Why don't we do something fun?" Dhruv said.

"What exactly do you mean by fun?" I inquired.

"Arcade!" Ahaan shouted.

I frowned because right now we were in Aarav's birthday party and it's not appreciative to leave for something like this.

"What about Aarav? Won't he feel bad that we left his party?" I asked.

"He won't even know. We'll be back soon after enjoying there." Dhruv said.

"You guys sure about this?" Sarah asked.

"100 percent." Ahaan said and Dhruv nodded.

I agreed because I was getting bored anyways. Girls here were pretty boring and the guys which were nice, we'd already talked with them so this was the best option right now.

Soon we were outside the arcade where Dhruv was busy purchasing the entry ticket. The next moment when he came, we all practically sprinted inside.

All of us chose one Arcade game and began the competition. We decided that the one who'll score the lowest will have to run half naked in the school's playground the next day. All of us were so engrossed in making the score high and we didn't even noticed that an hour had already passed.

In the end, Ahaan came first with the highest score, Dhruv with the second highest, I was at the third position and lastly Sarah being the last. Looking at Sarah's pouty face, they remit her.

Since then on, it had become mine and Ahaan's norm to come at the Arcade every week and compete against each other every time with different bets. This was something which I couldn't forget for my life and something I used to look forward at everytime.

Flashback Ends.

Since 6 years I didn't even look at this once. This is just because it had some memories which I buried deep inside me.

How we used to enjoy each other's presence here.

How we used to never forget about this despite any important work.

How we didn't even let anyone know about this.

"You were thinking about the past weren't you?" Ahaan's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

I nodded in affirmative and I didn't even notice the tear that had escaped my eye when Ahaan wiped it with his thumb.

Thinking not to make us morr uncomfortable and worsen the day I dragged him to one of the game.

"Let the war begin!" I shouted and he chuckled.

The next moment we began our competition just the way we used to before. Every time we would have any kind of problem, coming here and spending time with each other used to make us forget about all the worries.

Just the way we wouldn't realise how much time would pass in the past, even today this whole moment passed in a blur. It was like just both of us living our teenage again, competing like we used to before, without any worries, without any guilt, without any accusations and without any hesitation.

Jealous Sarah and Kyra😂 and then jealous Dhruv and Ahaan. Which duo is better?
