Gazing over the blue sky at 6 in the morning, I was busy taking in the freshness of early morning standing in the balcony of his room. He was still sleeping, but I wasn't sleepy anymore.
"Good morning." Ahaan's husky morning voice made me snap out of my thoughts.
"Morning." I replied, turning my gaze over him.
He was still shirtless, standing just in his shorts, barefoot just as me. He pulled out a single chair and sat on him, making me frown.
'What a gentleman!' I thought.
But I was again pulled by him, resulting me in falling on his lap with a squeak coming out of my mouth.
"I didn't receive a proper morning." He mumbled. He was looking so handsome in his messy bed hair, and I was controlling the urge to run my hands through them.
I placed a quick kiss on his cheek while his rough yet soft stubble came in contact with my lips.
"Not enough." He again said, looking at me with adoration.
I cupped his cheeks with the stubble I loved in contact with my hands and placed a short peck on his lips. He grinned in contentment, making me smile at his antics.
"Will you go to your office today?" He questioned, playing with the ends of my hair while my head was placed on his bare chest.
"Hmm. Sarah messaged me to drop by. I also needed to go once as it has been more than a month with my absence." I replied.
"I'll take you." He offered.
I hummed again, nuzzling into him more to feel the warmth. It was a bit cold out here, and me being in my nightwear didn't help much. I felt something hard below me, making me frown in annoyance. As I forwarded my hand there, I heard a loud groan coming out of his mouth, making me retreat my hand back.
"Shit! What did you just do?" He questioned in a deep voice.
"I felt something hard below me, so I wanted to remove that." I replied.
"It's not possible." He breathed out.
"Why?" I frowned.
"Because we won't be able to have children then." He replied, smirking, and I gulped as realization hit me hard.
Heat rose up my cheeks, and I hid my face in my hands only to hear him chuckling at my condition. He gently removed my hands from my face, and my eyes landed on his perfectly carved face. There wasn't a look of mischief or his signature smirk. He just had a genuine smile on his face.
"How much I love you and your innocence." He mumbled, placing feathery kisses on my hands that were in his big ones.
"I am anything but innocent. It's not like I don't know, okay? I know everything. It's just that this topic hasn't come up between us yet." I blurted truthfully.
"I know." He said with a small smile.
"Don't tell me you were a playboy in London." I said, scrunching my face.
"Absolutely not. I have saved myself for my queen, which is you." He replied, and I blushed at his words.
"Really?" I asked with lowered gaze playing with his chain.
"Really." He repeated, making me grin with my eyes twinkling in happiness.

Currently, I was sitting on the stool adjacent to the kitchen island reading daily newspaper. A good habit of mine. The breakfast was surprisingly already prepared by the caretaker even before when we got down from our room. She was a 50 year old nice lady with a family of her own.
"Let's go." Ahaan's voice made me snap my head towards him.
He'd gone back upstairs for his coat, and I am so glad he did. No wonder he looked good in his dark blue slacks and white dress shirt, but now paired with a coat, he was a sight to behold. With his hair gelled back to perfection and a silver Rolex watch on his wrist, he was looking handsome as ever.
I nodded my head and took the clutch that I'd placed on the island. Ahaan had his hand held out for me like a gentleman, and I happily placed.
He opened the door of his car, which was parked in the corner of the driveway along with others. I miss my car, but I guess riding with him is also a good option.
As I sat in the passenger seat, he took the driver's, and soon we were out to the busy roads of Mumbai in the morning. I missed this as well.
"What the fuck? Twenty minutes and still the traffic jam is the same as before." Ahaan said, anger evident.
Now there's the temper I was missing.
"What do you expect? It's Mumbai, and let me tell you it's way better than what I've been through." I said with a known look.
"Just wow." He muttered with a sarcastic smile, and I shrugged.
I've lived here for so many years, and it's all regular to me. The roads, atmosphere, people, and whatnot is something I'd adapted in the very beginning.
Forty minutes later, we were standing in front of my office building with both of us still in the car. I missed this as well.
"Bye." I said smiling, and he stopped me immediately.
Pointing to his cheek, he was smirking at me, and I just shook my head at his antics. Placing a quick kiss on his cheek, I backed myself. In return, he pecked my lips lightly with his lips lingering there for longer than needed.
"Should I come inside with you? I'll meet Sarah as well." He said concerned
"Ahaan, this isn't my first day at the office. Don't worry too much, and just focus on your work. And I don't think Sarah would like to meet you now, you know why." I replied with a known look.
"You're right. Just call me when you're done. I'll pick you up." He said, nodding.
"Sarah can drop me. My office is in the opposite direction you'd prefer, so you don't need to bother." I reasoned.
"No." He said with a hard look.
"We'll be going back together. No further discussions." He continued sternly.
I nodded. If he's ready to drive all the way opposite, who am I to deny.
I again bid him my byes and got out of the car. As I made my way towards the entrance of the building, he'd still not moved his car from the previous position. I quickly scurried inside the building with fast steps, and I could clearly hear the engine of his car coming to its life.
With my heels clicking on every step I took, people, who are also my employees head snapped up in my direction, and their mouth dropped opened as they saw my face. Exactly after a month and a half.
They obviously know about my marriage as it was captured by paparazzi at every step possible. An unexpected event took place as I heard everyone congratulate me with a genuine smile, making me smile and thank in return. They are my family, after all.
I took the elevator after a long, long time and pressed the floor to both of our offices. A couple of minutes later, the elevator dinged open, and I exited to see Sarah's office lights off. Shrugging, I made my way towards my office and entered it.
As I opened the door, my office came in my vision, same as ever. Even the papers I left on the table last day of my presence here were in the same position. I am glad they did just as they were told, not to enter in my office.
Smiling a little, I sat down on the empty and cold chair, opening my laptop and kept on the table as the first thing. Everything was up to date, and it took me about half n hour to get to know the new projects.
The door suddenly swings open, revealing a panting Sarah walking at an abnormally fast speed.
"I knew you were fooling me." I muttered, looking at her appearance.
"About what, bro?" She huffed, placing herself on the chair opposite me.
"That you're pregnant. And hello there bye the way." I said, smiling.
"I am. And hello back." She replied.
"Did you just see your walking speed? And it looks like you're losing weight instead of gaining." I reasoned.
"Shit! I seriously forget about it sometimes." She smiled sheepishly.
"And I have such a terrible morning sickness, which has resulted in me looking like this. It's going to change soon, though." She replied.
"Congratulations, girl. I am happy for you." I said, smiling genuinely.
"Thanks." She replied, patting her stomach.
"When will it start to show? And does your parents know?" I questioned concerned.
"Around the third month, I guess. And no, Mom and Dad don't know." She replied, shrugging.
"When are you planning to tell them?" I asked, worrying about their strictness.
"See, the good thing is Dad and Dhruv had already talked about our marriage as he couldn't bear the fact about me getting married to someone other than him. So it's settled. But I honestly have no idea how they'll take this." She responded.
"How did Dhruv take this?" I asked, peeking interest.
"Supportive. He was really supportive when I got to know about this on the wedding day." She replied, smiling a little.
"Wedding day? As in my wedding day?" I asked, surprise evident.
"Yeah. I was having my suspicions, and I tried my best to brush those thoughts away. But the sickness worsened on that day so I just took the test." She replied.
"You know your parents might be a little angry on you regarding this, but at the end, they love you. Seriously, the best part is that you are set to get married from both sides." I said.
"I am a little scared nonetheless. Dad is really eager for the wedding so they have decided to do it probably in two months. I guess I'll not be showing till then, but I don't know till when. I have to tell them soon." She said, and I could clearly point out the worry in her eyes.
"You should. They are our parents after all so they'll understand. And you should focus more on the fact that you are going to be a mother soon. Not these negative thoughts." I said concerned.
"You're right. You know I went to my first ultrasound yesterday, and I was so ecstatic seeing the little jelly bean on the screen. It took my heart away right there. I can't believe I am going to be a mother." She said, her eyes twinkling in excitement.
"How are you going to manage? Dhruv stays in Delhi, and you are settled here." I asked, slightly worried.
"The doctor said I need rest the whole time of my pregnancy. There are some minor complications, so there's a strict order for me not to work myself up." She replied.
"I hope everything will be fine with you. And you know, you can manage the new branch of ours that is still being constructed in Delhi. I am sure it'll be completed by the time you're settled with be baby and everything." I said, smiling.
"Great." She said, nodding.
"How was your trip?" She questioned with a smile.
"I shouldn't say this, but this was one of the best trips I've ever been to." I replied.
"Did you talk to Ahaan about anything?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" I frowned in confusion.
"What I mean is that you both really need to sit together and talk like adults. You need to solve everything between the two of you." She said.
"Ahaan and I talk so naturally and comfortably with each other sometimes as if nothing had happened between us before. There were a few times when this topic came up, but it didn't affect anything between us negatively. In fact, we came closer." I replied.
"That I can see by your hickey." She muttered.
"Is it still visible? Man, I literally picked the most hideous blouse of mine." I said.
"Not that clear, though. But you said you both didn't even have-" I stopped her in between.
"No, we seriously didn't. It was just a small makeout in the heat of moment." I replied a little embarrassed.
"You got to talk to him, Kyra. You both cannot live the rest of your lives as if nothing happened. It'll only strengthen your relationship, and he deserves to know what you went through." She explained.
"I know." I mumbled quietly.
"And you need to do that soon." She said, making her way out of my office.
Her words got me thinking for a moment. Ahaan and I are definitely living like normal couples even when we haven't talked about everything. He deserves to know, and I've got to tell him to move past the negative thoughts.
I soon began my work, calling the necessary employees and looking through everything that I'd missed these past days.
The day soon came to the end as well, and I was really happy that I was back on my track after so long.
Ring...
Ring...
I looked at my phone ringing, and as I noticed it was Ahaan, a smile crept on my face on its own.
"Hello." I said, picking the call.
"Hello Kyra. Is your work finished for the day?" He questioned in a deep voice.
"Yes." I replied.
"Good. I am sending my driver for you, and he'll pick you up to drop here at my office. And then we'll go home together." He said further.
"Why? Can't you just pick me up at the end?" I questioned.
"No, Ky, my work will take a lot of time, and I won't let you stay there alone waiting for me. So, just do as I say." He replied softly.
"Okay." I sighed, hanging up the call.
This is the last thing I wanted right now. What I was hoping for was a good cuddling session after a long day at the office, and here I have to present myself in his office that too at this peculiar time.
Exactly 10 minutes later, I got a call from the reception on the ground floor about someone waiting for me. I wrapped up everything and took the only thing I'd bought here with me, my clutch.
The driver was a polite man, probably in his late 40s, and the whole 40-minute ride, all I did was gazing at the scenery outside. As the car stopped finally at a point, it was only to make my jaw drop. His office was almost a 30-story glass building, and it looked nothing but exquisite.
Composing myself, I exited the car and entered the building. With my head held high, I made my way to the big reception where 3 female staff were busy with different people.
"How may I help you?" The receptionist I'd approached asked without even glancing up from her computer.
"I want to know the floor number of your CEO's office." I replied.
"Right." She let out a sarcastic laugh.
"Who you might be?" She asked.
'Control Kyra.' Is what I chanted in my mind.
"His wife." I hissed.
Her head snapped up in my direction, and she visibly gulped.
"You're Kyra Ma'am?" She asked hesitantly.
"That certainly is me." I said, nodding.
"Y-yes ma'am. Sir just informed me about your arrival. You can take the private elevator to the 29th floor. He's waiting for you there itself." She said hesitantly.
"Right. Thanks." I responded, turning on my heels.
"And ma'am?" She continued making me turn my head.
I looked at her with raised eyebrows.
"My apologies for the inconvenience." She said nervously.
"It's alright." I replied with a smile and turned again to the direction of the elevator.
As I walked towards the direction of the elevator, I could feel hundreds of gazes burning my back.
'What's the big deal if your boss' wife is visiting him?' I wanted to shout on them, but controlled myself.
Not even bothering to look at my surroundings, I sped off my way to the elevator and entered it, pressing the required floor button. A couple of minutes later, the elevator dinged open, indicating my arrival at the 29th floor, and I exited it only to see another reception in front of me. Maybe that's for his secretary.
I didn't even bother going to her and made my way to the only office's door on the floor. As I knocked twice on the door, which had a big nameplate 'Mr. Ahaan Kapoor', I heard a faint 'come in'.
Pushing the massive wooden door open, I entered with my heels clicking only to see Ahaan seated behind his desk in his large cabin.
It was dark brown themed with a big set of sofas on one side and his big desk with chairs on the other. There was a big shelf as well with the door in between.
"Hey." He said, glancing up from his papers.
He was wearing a pair of glasses and he looked so sexy in those. It was the first time I saw him in these.
"Hey." I greeted back while closing the door behind me.
In that small amount of time, he'd already made his way towards me with a mind-blowing smile on his handsome face.
"Did you have any problem while coming here?" He questioned, concerned.
"No." I replied with a small smile.
He nodded and took my hand in his warm ones, leading me to his chair. As usual, he seated himself and settled me on his lap.
"Ahaan , we are in your office." I reasoned uncomfortably.
"No one can enter without my permission." He replied, nuzzling into my neck, and I relaxed, making myself comfortable.
"I missed you." He said huskily, looking into my eyes.
"It's just been what, 10 hours?" I replied, chuckling a little.
"I started missing you in the first hour itself." He said without any hesitation.
"Can we go home?" I asked in a low voice.
"Just some more minutes. My work is almost done for the day." He replied in a soft voice.
He returned back to his work, this time typing furiously on his laptop. I could only pity the keys for the speed and force he was typing with. I was trying my best not to sleep in his arms like I did back in Greece. The view was amazing from his office, so I kept gazing at the beautiful scenery at night.
"Let's go. I am done." He said around thirty minutes later.
I sighed in relief and nodded my head, parting away from him. He took his briefcase in one hand and took my hand in other, leading me outside his cabin.
The whole way people kept looking at us as if we were aliens. Why can't they just get over the fact that their boss is now married with me and we're leaving together like we should? Ahaan looked normal as ever, no expression on his face, unlike some moments ago when he was talking to me. This thought itself made me feel butterflies in the pit of my stomach.
It was again only the both of seated just like the morning. He started the car, not waiting for any other moment, and we were back onto the busy roads.
