02; Tease
Harley watched as Allison pulled out a black dress from her locker, the blonde mentally slapping herself. In the light of recent events, she had completely forgotten about Kate Argent's funeral. It wasn't like she was best friends with Allison, but they were somewhat close. She was just a bit too sweet for her taste, while half the time the Argent girl found her rude.
Like she said, somewhat close.
She watched as she unfolded a slip of paper, a smile growing on her face. It was then that the blonde took notice of Scott McCall peering around the corner, grinning as he watched the girl.
"Oh, gag me." She muttered, rolling her eyes as the brunette dropped it into her locker. She saw some guy from the lacrosse team talk to her, but she was too uninterested to listen in. Instead, she was focused on two girls staring her.
"It was her aunt, the one who murdered all those people."
"You mean the crazy bitch who killed all those people?"
"Yeah. The fire, all those animal attacks, it was her aunt."
"Are you kidding? I sit next to her in English."
"Find a new seat."
"How about you find a life?" Harley asked loudly, her voice a sarcastic and peppy tone. The two girls looked over in disgust, soon changing to fear as they realized who it was. "That's what I thought. By the way, you should really get that mole checked out Sarah, just a heads up."
Allison gave her a relieved smile as they walked away, faces flushed in embarrassment. "Thanks."
"Yeah, don't dwell too much on it." She shut her locker and turned on her heel, waving over her shoulder. "Say hi to McCall for me!"
"I think I flunked that quiz." Erica sighed, walking up quickly to catch up.
"Did you study my notes?" She asked, looking over at the girl. Her frizzy hair was pulled into a ponytail, and she actually opted for a pair of jeans today, taking Harley's advice. She still wore a large hoodie, hiding any possibility of a body shape.
"Yeah." She mumbled, her Spanish book clutched to her chest. "But they were confusing. It's like reading straight from the textbook."
"That's the point." Harley laughed, watching as her friend timidly waved to someone. Her eyes followed her gaze to see Isaac raising a hand, only to retract it imeadietly when he saw her looking. "Are you friends with him?"
"Kinda. We have a few classes together." She shrugged, stopping at her locker and depositing her books in it.
"How well do you know him?" She raised an eyebrow, leaning against the cold metal, her eyes trained on him.
"Why?" She asked, taking a strand hanging from her ponytail and twisting it nervously.
"Just wondering."
"Please be nice to him." Erica pleaded, looking at her sadly. "He gets pushed around enough at home."
"What?" Harley's head turned abruptly, face contorted in confusion.
"You don't think those bruises are really from lacrosse do you?"

Isaac walked into the abandoned train depot warily, looking around at the dirty cement and rusty pipes.
"Hello?" He called out, rubbing his shoulder where a fresh bruise painted his skin under the thin fabric of his
t-shirt.
"Looking for someone?" Isaac jumped, turning around to see Harley leaning against the door of the old subway car, arms crossed. She looked out of place, her jean jacket and pink dress too clean and expensive for the filthy depot. "I'm guessing from that adorably clueless look on your face, you're here for Derek, not me."
"Uh, yeah." He cleared his throat, blinking a bit. "Do you know where he is?"
"Out." She mused, looking at her nails. "Picking up his leather jacket from the dry cleaning, scaring tiny children. The usual."
"I-I can come back later." He started to back up, the blonde rolling her eyes.
"He'll be back soon." She sighed, stepping down and walking towards him. "Besides, I have a feeling home is the last place you want to be."
He didn't respond, just stood there as she circled him, lips pursed in disapproval. Or maybe it was the opposite, he couldn't really tell.
"Question." She quipped, narrowing her eyes. "Are you house broken? Because I'm so not cleaning up after you."
"Leave him alone." Derek sighed, causing Isaac to turn around, the alpha watching them disapprovingly.
"But Derek," She pouted, tousling Isaac's curls a bit, the boy flinching in response. "He's so cute when he's nervous."
"Don't."
"I was just teasing." She muttered, crossing her arms. "So, how'd it go with our favorite little omega?"
"There are more Argents." Derek started, Isaac watching the two with wide eyes.
"Peachy." She rolled her eyes and shook her head. She flicked her hair back and reached for her bag, slinging it over her shoulder.
"Where are you going?" Derek asked, the blonde barely even glancing at him.
"Home." She replied and dragged a nail lightly down Isaac's cheek, chuckling when he swallowed hard eyes wide. "Later."
She started towards the exit, pausing only when he spoke up again.
"By the way, they found your friend."

Not edited.
It's a filler, obviously but now Harley knows why Derek chose Isaac.
I threw a little Harica in there because Erica is my bby and I love her.
Also, Return is close to 5k and I'm screaming internally.
