Three months later

These past three months have been hard.
I've only gained a couple more friends and I don't even spend time with them really.
There's no point.
Serena is still in hospital.
They said she would be out in the next couple of days, but I doubt it, actually I doubt everything in life now because there's no point.
That's right, I've given up on life.
I once had a life, and once Serena stepped it in it got better.
And then when she went into hospital it disappeared.
I hardly see her now.
Probably visit her like twice a week.
Things are so much more awkward as well, and I can't tell her as much as I used to.
Our conversation would just be how are you? I'm fine. That's good. How's school? Fine. And that's it.
We would then sit in silence, looking away from eachother.
I miss looking in her stunning eyes but, I just can't because when I leave I know it will break me.
That's the only reason I'm alive right now.
It's because Serena's still alive.
If she would have died in that mansion I would have committed suicide straight away.
Today is Friday, so I'm at school right now, doing a French test.
Because I'm the luckiest person ever and have to do a test, on Friday, on the last period.
Dawn was sitting next to me and was scribbling away with her pencil.
She seemed to enjoy French, so she helped me a lot because I was HORRIBLE at it!
Finally the bell rings.
I hand my sheet to the teacher and make my way through the school.
I walk back to my house, open the door and walk up to my bedroom.
I still sleep on the mattress on the floor, I don't know why, maybe I'm just hoping that one day Serena will appear magically on the mattress next to me.
I start to play video games to waste time, I do this a lot by the way.

I check the time, 9:46.
I might as well go to bed.
I get changed and flop onto the mattress.
I then kind of fall into a half sleep, so it's like you can't wake up, but you can feel everything and hear everything around you.
I hear the bathroom door open and then close, probably my mom going to the toilet.
Shortly after I hear it open again.
I then hear small creaking noises of the floorboards and then silence again.
I then feel something lay next to me, I try to wake myself up but I fail.
Then this thing turns around and I can feel its breath against my neck, it was really close to me.
It then grabs my arms and wraps them around itself.
I then hear small snoring noises, indicating to me that this thing was asleep.
Something has just come into my room, and cuddled me.
I eventually pull myself out of this half sleep and open my eyes.
I froze in shock.
The thing that was cuddling me was,
Serena.
"S-Serena!" I half whisper half shout.
She opens her eyes and looks at me with those amazing ocean blue irises that drift me into a world of happiness.
"Hi Ash." She said softly, placing her head on my chest.
"You're really comfy you know." She continues. "Sere what are you doing here?! You should be at the hospital!" She starts giggling. "Silly Ash. I'm out of hospital now, baka."
A big smile forms on my face.
Life is worth living for now.
I look into Serena's eyes and she does the same to mine.
We slowly inch closer and closer till our lips were just millimetres apart.
I close my eyes, ready to embrace Serena's lips.
BANG!
A hug streak of lightning crashes down and hits a nearby tree, setting it alight.
Serena screams and pushes her face into my chest, tears of fear releasing themselves onto my top.
She clenches my top with her hands, shaking uncontrollably.
"Serena, it's ok calm down." I push her closer to me, wrapping her into a hug.
She must really hate thunderstorms. The thing is, I didn't even realize it was raining or anything.
"A-Ash, I-I really don't l-like t-thunders-storms." She whispers.
"It's ok Serena, I'll be here till the storm goes ok." "T-Thankyou A-Ash."
The sky made another loud rumbling noise, making Serena scream and cry even harder.
"Please try to calm down Serena."
This was killing me.
I hate seeing Serena like this.
