I wake up to the sound of Serena quietly breathing next to me.
She's just so adorable.
I stroke her honey blonde hair and push it out of her face.
Wait a minute.
Why does she look so pale?
I touch her hand to feel it cold.
Oh no!
I scramble out of bed and feel her chest.
I wave of relief rushes through me.
Thank god.
Her heart seems fine.
I pull her into my arms.
"Sere, wake up."
She slowly opens her eyes and smiles at me.
"Morning Ashy." "Morning Sere."
I kiss her forehead and feel her hand again.
She's still stone cold.
"Hey Sere do you feel cold at all?"
She looks up at me.
"No, I feel really hot Ash."
I touch her forehead to feel it boiling.
She has a fever.
I guess that's why she's so cold.
I gently lay we back in bed.
"Stay there Serena, I'll help you cool down ok." "Ok Ash."
I rush downstairs and grab a flannel, running it under he tap afterwards.
I rush back upstairs to see Serena laying down on the bed, her eyes closed.
She's probably fallen asleep again.
I walk over to the bed and place the flannel on her forehead.
That should help.
"A-Ash.."
I hear Serena weakly whisper at me and I look at her in worry.
"What's wrong Serena?"
I clench her cold hand gently.
"M-my.. h-heart.."
I feel my heart drop to my stomach.
"W-what's wrong with your heart?" "I-it.. h-hurts.."
My eyes burst open in fear and I place my hand against her chest.
It was beating, but so much slower than before.
I feel my mind go blank as I look at the girl who could be dying in front of me.
I need help.
I need to keep her alive.
Tears started running down my face.
"Y-you're going to be fine Serena."
I see her start to tear up as well.
"I-I'm not.. a-am I A-Ash.."
I feel more tears build up in my eyes.
I can't lie to her anymore.
"I don't know if you're going to be ok Serena.."
Think Ash think.
What could be wrong with her heart.
I look at her worriedly and try to think as hard as possible.
Wait.
Her light energy.
I look at Serena closely.
I need to see if she shows any sighs of evil.
Her eye was twitching and I swear her pupils are smaller than they usually are.
It has to be that.
She's running out of light energy.
And there's nothing I can do about it.
Unless I can somehow get some more light energy.
Wait.
I remember reading about something like this in Tony's diary.

I continue to score through the diary until I spot another paragraph about light and dark energy.
'Dear Diary, today I made an extra capsule of light and dark energy in case anything goes wrong. It's pretty difficult to replace the capsules cause it could kill the person who has the heart. But I guess if it's important then they could use it.'
