"So, is someone going to talk?"

The trio currently sat on one of the couches in the meeting room, Dong-Wook sitting across from them with his arms folded across his chest and an expectant look on his face. Runa sat in the middle, Yoongi silently seething to the left with plenty of space between them, and Jungkook was relaxed.

Upon the remaining silence, Dong-Wook caught her gaze before he raised a brow, urging her to say something because Jungkook wasn't going to and Yoongi was in his head about the situation.

"Alright, we were at Taehyung's cabin looking around for evidence proving he's involved with Dori and his new partner."

Hearing that made the underboss lean forward with intent, "Are you serious? And let me guess, this was Yoongi's idea?"

The male finally snapped into reality and gave a cut look towards the older male who glared back intensely. He could see the frustration in his eyes, so he knew they didn't find anything.

"That was incredibly stupid and dangerous. The fact that you three are alive and unscathed indicates he wasn't there, but what if he was?"

"That was kind of the point. We wanted to talk to him away from prying eyes", Yoongi sarcastically replies, making the underboss raise his eyebrows from the sassy tone.

"Looks like things didn't go according to plan."

"Clearly", the white-haired man mumbled, looking away and sighing as he rested his head on his fist, his arm propped up on the arm of the couch.

"Why did nobody say anything to me? I should've been there in case anything happened", Dong-Wook directed his statement towards Runa and she looked back at him, seeing the disappointment in his eyes but she was too in her head worrying about Taehyung to concern herself about his feelings towards this.

"We can handle ourselves. And it would've been even more suspicious if someone saw you leaving with us. That would raise questions and we have enough of those already."

The older male groans softly, running his hands through his hair with an exasperated sigh. He looked exhausted, whether or not he was worried about Taehyung being a possible traitor to the plan or her running around with her ex-boyfriend, it caused an ache in his brain. Too much thinking and not enough alcohol to drown it all.

"Next time you decide to leave, I'd like for it to be known so someone knows where you are in case you get killed or kidnapped. Understood?", he states firmly, leaving no room for arguments and Runa nods slightly.

"Got it."

"Alright, get out of my sight. I'm tired and you're lucky I won't be telling your father about this", the man says while standing up and smoothing down his suit.

That makes her eyes roll as she does the same and fluffs up the bottom of her flowing dress to fix it, "It's not like he'd care anyway."

Yoongi takes the cue to quickly leave without saying anything further and Jungkook follows Runa into her room where she takes off her jewelry and sets out her pajamas for the night.

"Tired?", Jungkook asks while watching her sit down and rest her head in her hands.

"Tired and annoyed. It was such a waste of time and...I got my hopes up for nothing and I regret doing so. The void of disappointment is trying to swallow me hole and I refuse to go back downstairs and occupy anyone else's time. I need to rest, it's already late so the guests should be leaving soon."

Jungkook had a feeling something else was going on, from that calculating look in her eyes he could tell there was a plan brewing in that restless mind of hers so he pretended to believe the lie. For now.

"Alright, I'll leave you to it. Goodnight Runa."

After she nods her head and dismisses him, he walks out of her room and goes outside on the balcony. She couldn't sleep at all, even if she tried, so after she watched all the cars disappear one by one from the parking lot, and after all the lights were turned off, she changed into an all-black leather bodysuit with heeled boots, putting her hair into a low bun and after taking off her makeup, she grabs the dagger to hide in her shoe.

She sneaks out of her window, climbing down one of the columns attached to her balcony and once her feet land in the grass, she makes her way to the garage and puts the passcode in to enter.

It opens smoothly without much noise and after getting her keys and entering the driver's side of her car, she smiles and feels a rush of adrenaline when turning the key and hearing the engine come alive. As she drove out past the gates, she sent a quick message to the man she was meeting, and a second later, he replied.

'It's a little late princess, but I guess I can stay up for you'

There wasn't a doubt in her mind that the man was excited to see her since the message she sent was insinuating the complete opposite of her actual intentions. He was a man whore through and through and hopefully he'd be too lust driven and desperate to think rationally and avoid her manipulation.

She prayed it would work, that after the many all-nighters she pulled to try and solve this thread of lies and deceit, she could finally get her beauty sleep. Once she arrives at the hotel, she strides down the hall to his room, knocking thrice before he opens the door with his pierced brow raised as he sees the outfit she wears.

"Hello little princess, here to entertain me are we? And to think you were threatening me when in reality you just felt guilty about wanting a taste."

He pulled her into him, her allowing it, and he pressed her up against the door, subtly locking it as his tongue licked a stripe up her neck and she shivered in disgust when she felt the cold sting of his piercing.

"If you want me, you need to tell me the truth Dori", she says while pushing him back and striding over to the leather couch, propping up her heeled boots on the ottoman and her eyes raking his form.

His dark hair was pulled back into a bun, the same color eyeliner making his gaze look even more snakelike as he practically slithered on over to her and sat on the opposite couch with a cocky look on his face.

"The truth? There are so many truths little princess, so much that you don't know and time is ticking away. But you're getting closer, plans are changing and you'll know something soon. Now come here."

She ignores his command and lowers her voice so it sounds sultry, hoping to ease him into a confession with a tease, "If you want me to come, you'll give me something worth begging for. You help me, I help you. No more riddles Dori, tell me who this guy is. What does he want and how am I involved?"

He giggles crazily, clapping his hands and she remains stoic, although inside the irritation was starting to boil over. But she had to remain calm, had to maintain the dominance she held over him, or else he'd continue playing games and not take her seriously.

"Princess, all I can say is that you'll be in pain. So many people have double-crossed you and... well...you won't expect what's to come. Let's just say that it has something to do with your mommy."

Hearing that made her body go stiff and now the curiosity takes over, "My mother? What do you know about her?"

"Isn't it suspicious how daddy never seems to talk about mommy? How no pictures of her can be found, how her life before him seems to be...forgotten? Or should I say hidden?", he says suggestively, and it only pushes her over the edge.

"Enough games, tell me what the fuck is going on."

"Oh, look at you getting feisty", he squeals and leans back on the couch, patting his thigh, "Come sit on my lap, princess. Let me hold you."

Figuring that this was the only way to get him where she wanted, she didn't waste a second in obeying and he hummed in appreciation when she straddled him and wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning in close to heighten the tension and she could see he was lost in the lust and she refrains from pulling away when his hands move to hold her waist.

"That's a good girl. Now, if you kiss, I promise to tell", he teases while glancing down at her lips, admiring her bare face in the dim lighting and he wondered how someone could look so good, yet so out of reach even in his hands.

"I don't trust you, you've given me nothing to go on and you need to earn it."

He pouts but nods in understanding, "Ok, princess, I'll bite. You need to look into your mother and her past, maybe try and force something out of your father because he's hiding many many things."

The amused tone of his voice only further irritates her, so much so that she can feel the urge to choke him to death grow and that smug look in his eyes makes her stomach churn. He truly disgusted her, but she used her looks for persuasion, even if the bulge pressing against her inner thigh made her want to puke. She had to do this.

"What exactly is he hiding? Did he hurt my mother?", she asks while slowly leaning in to kiss his neck and when he shifts in place, she triumphantly smirks and continues sucking on the skin right below his ear.

"Yes, in more ways than one. He took everything from her and forced her into marrying him. Fuck, keep doing that", he groans when she bites him, sucking harshly on his skin and his grip on her waist tightens, the trace of his fingers starting to slide along her curves before he grips her thighs.

"Forced? What do you mean?"

She couldn't act surprised although she was, because for one everyone always said how deeply in love her parents were. So whenever she brought the topic up with her father, she assumed his bitter attitude about it was because he was hurting and hated to show that vulnerability even with his daughter. But now the fog was starting to clear.

To get more out of him, she unbuttons his leopard patterned dress shirt, one of many he had in various other styles and when her tongue starts tracing down his smooth, bare chest, he lets too much slip out in his moment of weakness.

"Your parents never loved each other, she had a man before him and he took her family away out of greed. The man had things he wanted, and to gain more power and maintain his status, he took her as a wife and used her to create an heir...you", he breathlessly replies, tilting his head back and closing his eyes when she slowly grinds her body against him and grips his neck so his eyes open to look at her.

His head gets slightly dizzy when her hand squeezes his throat, her eyes demanding more and he's too needy to not give in. Even if it might kill him, he isn't thinking about any of the risks right now. Her body was distracting, he was too busy running his hands up her hips and waist to comprehend her real motives.

"He told me she died during childbirth. Is that true? Did she die of natural causes or did he kill her?"

He avoids the question and only smiles, his hand caressing the side of her face as he gazes up at her, "I've given you quite enough, princess. Don't I deserve my reward?"

When he leans up to kiss her, she squeezes his neck and forces him back, making his jaw clench and now she could see she pissed him off.

"Sit back and relax, only I get to touch you", she charmingly replied, sneaking her hand down his body while the other subtly slides down her leg.

As soon as she's about to grab the dagger from her boot, the door busts open with a booming thud, and when they both look up to see the intruder, her heart stops when she sees Jungkook walking in with his gun aimed towards Dori.

He looked like he was going to kill somebody and she was about to open her mouth to protest, but he quickly snatches her off of him and pushes her to walk towards the door.

"Make a move and I shoot you", he says while pinning a sharp glare to Dori who huffs in frustration, waving his hand dismissively before fixing his ruffled and opened shirt.

"Just fucking leave. The bitch wasn't gonna do nothing anyways", he grits out.

Jungkook keeps his gun aimed at Dori who remains sitting on the couch, and as he walks towards her, he grabs her arm tightly and drags her out of the hotel room.

"Hey! Let me go!", she protests, his grip bruising and he shoves her into the elevator with no patience left.

"I don't want to hear a word from you. You were stupid to do such a thing and you could've gotten hurt. Keep quiet and I won't tell your father about this, I doubt he'd be happy to know the little stunt you pulled", he says while putting his gun away.

She huffs and looks over at him, "Considering the shit I just found out, telling my dad anything else would be stupid and we shouldn't trust him."

"Why would you say that?"

"Because he's keeping secrets from me, from all of us."

He sighs and looks over at her with his jaw clenched. Never had she seen him look at her with such...rage. It was like the one time she witnessed Dong-Wook lose his mind because he thought she was lost. Except even more terrifying because Jungkook had no care for her in the world, so he'd say the cruelest things without regretting it.

"We all have our secrets. And we're going to pretend this never happened or else", he firmly states, grabbing her arm once the elevator doors open and dragging her to her car, which he somehow managed to get the keys from her while she didn't notice.

The ride home was suffocating, so awkward and she wanted to tell him what happened, what was said but she feared that if she even breathed too loud, hypothetically speaking, of course, she'd get a bullet stuck in her throat.
