When Taehyung woke up the morning after, everything that had happened the night before seemed unreal. And if it wasn't for Jeongguk sleeping peacefully next to him in his bed, Taehyung would had thought it was all product of his crazy, and very much in love, imagination.

He watches the sleeping alpha in the meantime, among all his wilding imagination he thought Jeongguk was gorgeous. Watching him that way made him seen defenseless and vulnerable, so young and natural, different from what everyone expects Jeongguk to be. 

Taehyung smiles, feeling bold and reaching to touch the alpha's face, the line of his jaw and the mole under his lip. He wanted to kiss him, wake Jeongguk up with a sweet kiss, but he felt shy to actually do it, instead he kept on studying the alpha's sleeping face. He noticed another little mole on his nose, and he couldn't help himself but to touch it. Jeongguk moves, scrunching his nose, snuffling, and a sneeze came out, powerful and without warning, startling Taehyung and waking Jeongguk up.

Taehyung instantly felt his cheeks heating up by having Jeongguk's face so close to his own, drowsy dark eyes staring at him intensely, and then a very lazy smile appearing, "Morning" Jeongguk says, voice hoarse, and closing his eyes again to rub them with a hand.

"Morning" Taehyung says back, quickly looking away, suddenly feeling very much self-aware and embarrassed of what he did with Jeongguk the night before. The things Jeongguk said to him, the things he said to Jeongguk, everything they did, so unusual in him, so naughty of him. And yet he didn't regret anything.

"I'm getting really comfortable with the idea of waking up next to you" says Jeongguk, offering a toothy smile, and the same drowsy eyes that looked so lovely on him.

Taehyung was feeling a mixture of emotions, from shyness to excitement, from fear to love, still everything came down to the fact that he was scared if what Jeongguk had told him the night before wasn't true, that he wasn't willing to compromise for him, that he was drunk. 

But the glint in Jeongguk's eyes said otherwise.

"Do you..?" Taehyung begins but hesitates midsentence, getting flustered all of sudden.

"Do I?" Jeongguk asks, moving slightly in the small bed, closer, facing each other inches away, "Don't get shy on me now, Tae" he says, laughing lightly, "You were anything but shy last night"

Taehyung punches him, softly, and huffs air, knowing he was positive blushing for Jeongguk's way with words. "Stop it or I'm kicking you out of my bed"

Jeongguk makes a pout, hands sneaking around Taehyung's waist and pulling him closer, now bodies flushed against each other. "I want my morning kiss"

"No way" Taehyung scrunches his nose, "You reek of digested alcohol and ugly coffee"

Jeongguk mimics Taehyung's face, "That's gross" he says, "I don't smell like that"

"Go to the bathroom and wash yourself" Taehyung says, orders him, pointing towards the small bathroom in his room. Jeongguk rolls his eyes, moving to comply with Taehyung's demand, but before he could properly sit on the bed, the alpha takes the omega's face with his hands and press a hard kiss on his mouth, and then licks him.

Taehyung groans, face red, and Jeongguk gets off of the bed giggling immaturely, "I'll be right back" he says, closing the door behind him.

"Gross" Taehyung mutters, but he smiles, enjoying very much how clingy Jeongguk could be. He checks the hour, and it was almost noon, it was becoming normal for him to sleep late when he was with Jeongguk and wouldn't complain about it.

He couldn't erase the stupid silly grin out of his face, even when he groaned against a pillow slightly wriggling in the bed. Taehyung really wanted to asked Jeongguk if he had meant what he said to him, about being boyfriends, but he also wanted to let the alpha do it himself. He deserved that, being pursued by the alpha, being wooed. Who even says woo anymore besides Aunt Hana and Park Jimin? He flinches at the thought, and then his eyes snaps widely open.

"Shit" he murmurs, slightly freaking out about the fact of Aunt Hana being home, Yoongi catching Jeongguk's jacket somewhere in the apartment, plus his boots, and worse, imagining Uncle Min eating his breakfast on the kitchen counter, the same he and Jeongguk tainted and that they didn't bother to clean. "Oh no, please don't let them be there" he whispers to himself, hearing the water running in his bathroom, and just going to his closet to change his pajamas to something more decent.

Simple blue jeans and a comfy yellow sweater would do. And for Jeongguk... before he could figure it out, Jeongguk came out from the bathroom without the spare pajamas Taehyung had lent him last night, just shirtless and wearing his black skinny jeans. The omega in him shuddered, and also decided he would be incredibly happy to see him like that every day.

Jeongguk smiles at him, it wasn't his usual smirks, it was a genuine soft smile, fond even. Taehyung cocks an eyebrow watching him stepping closer, "Now I want my morning kiss"

Taehyung shakes his head and raises his hands in a defensive state before the alpha could wrap his arms around him like he always do, "Jeongguk, we should set our boundaries first"

"Boundaries?" the alpha asks confused, brows slightly creased in confusion, "Are we not dating?"

Taehyung opens his eyes wide and round, feeling his heart starting to beat faster, nervous, "I- I told you we w-would discuss that today!"

Jeongguk raises his eyebrows, slightly pouting, then he open his mouth "Oh" he murmurs, scratching his nape, "You told me to ask you again today"

"Y-yes" Taehyung stutters, pointing an accusing finger towards the alpha, "N-no mistakes, no more chances"

Jeongguk smiles again, so genuinely it makes his big eyes look smaller, little wrinkles in the corners, he was so attractive it was difficult to stay still for Taehyung. "I thought me telling you I want to be your boyfriend was clear" he says, the words so easily coming out of his mouth that it was difficult to believe it was the same alpha who used to tell Taehyung he wouldn't commit for anything in the world. Now there he was, standing in front of him, claiming wanting to date him. There was nothing Taehyung wanted more than that, then why it was such a shock to hear Jeongguk saying those words. "Do you want to be my boyfriend, Taehyung?"

The ability to speak had left Taehyung. And Jeongguk looks almost hopeless, waiting to hear his answer. Taehyung clears his throat, suddenly he was hot all over, and he blinks his eyes quickly, "I- I do" he says, and Jeongguk smiles again, looking relieved.

"You have to teach me how to do it, Tae" says Jeongguk, getting nearer, hands going to the omega's waist just to hold him close, "I have never date anyone in my entire life"

Taehyung sighs, mimicking the alpha's smile, and he nods, "You just need to be reliable for me, yeah?" he says, tilting slightly his head, "The rest... I like you just the way you are... You don't need to change" he says and didn't miss the way Jeongguk's eyes twinkled.

"I'm going to try to be a good boyfriend for you" Jeongguk tells him, sounding serious, hands holding Taehyung by his shoulders, "The one you deserve"

Taehyung nods, smiles, and holds Jeongguk by his waist, bared skin warm and firm against his fingers, soft too. They kiss, and it felt different from all the times they had kissed before, it was with feelings, strong feelings, admitted feelings, love.

Taehyung wonder if Jeongguk was equally scared because he was able to feel how fast and hard the alpha's heart was beating against his chest. He was probably terrified for falling in love, but he was brave enough to give the first step, and that was damn incredible. So Taehyung held him close, kissing him softly, kissing him hard, kissing him in all the way he enjoys, just to taste him and gain those unusual desirable sounds from the alpha.

Knocks on his door startled them, remind Taehyung where he was. He opens his eyes widely, and Jeongguk looked equally startled. "Um, yes?" he asks, loud enough to be hear through the door.

"Sweetheart" It was his Aunt Hana, damnit, "Lunch is ready"

"Ugh, I'll be right there!" he half yells, expecting to hear her walking away, but apparently she wasn't moving at all. Jeongguk looked really amused, eyebrows risen and tilting his head towards Taehyung also waiting.

"Is your friend staying for lunch?" Aunt Hana decides to ask, and Jeongguk couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Taehyung wanted to cover his face with his hands, mortified to think his Aunt would think he slept with someone in her house, under her roof, with her presence around. His grandmother would ground him for a year. "I already set another plate on the table, hurry dear"

"Oh my God" Taehyung whines, "I feel like a teenager hiding his boyfriend"

"Boyfriend" Jeongguk says, sneaking an arm around Taehyung again and kissing him.

Taehyung hums, kissing back, and then pushing him lightly away, "Jeongguk" he whines again, "She'll think bad of me"

"No way" Jeongguk rolls his eyes, "You're good, no one is going to think we were having sex"

"We weren't"

Jeongguk grins, wiggling his eyebrows, "We dirty the kitchen though"

"Ughh, my uncle eats his breakfast there" Taehyung laments, and softly hit Jeongguk's on one of his biceps when he begin laughing like a kid. "Put your shirt on"

"I can't" Jeongguk says, "It's covered in cum"

Taehyung wrinkles his nose, walking towards his closet and taking an oversized black jumper, "As much as I like the view, you need to put this on" he says, handing the sweater to the alpha, who instantly pull it under his nose, sniffing blatantly.

"Peaches and vanilla" Jeongguk hums, closing his eyes for a brief moment, "Delicious"

Taehyung smiles, then takes a deep breath, "Ready?" he asks, and the alpha nods, putting the sweater on and offering his hand for Taehyung to take it. The omega looks down at it, hesitates, but takes it, firmly.

"No mistakes" Jeongguk says.

"No mistakes" Taehyung repeats.

They were about to go out from the room, when Jeongguk suddenly pulls the omega over, "Wait" he says, knitting his eyebrows together, and showing an utterly worried face, "As your boyfriend how am I supposed to sit?" he asks, and Taehyung just look at him confusedly, "Should I sit you on my lap or-"

"You're damn terrible" Taehyung pulls the alpha's ear, earning a low whine from him, "Behave. Yoongi hyung loves punching alphas"

"I'm a fucking boxer, peachy" he says, narrowing his eyes. "He would only punch me like... a little" he says, showing his thumb and index fingers pinching slightly apart, making Taehyung giggle, "Can I drop food on the kitchen counter and make him eat it?"

"I'm going to break up with you if you don't take this seriously"

Jeongguk tsked, "One word from you shall silence me forever"

"Stop quoting books" Taehyung chuckles with a hushed tone of voice, opening the door and pulling the alpha with him, "And I sincerely think you have read Pride & Prejudice more times than I"

"Guilty as charge" Jeongguk says, smiling contently at the way Taehyung's hand held his own so perfectly, they fit together exactly right. Taehyung's fingers were longer, but his hand was thinner, slender, while Jeongguk had wider hands, bigger palms. He loves it, both did.

Once in the hallway, the sound of various voices was making Taehyung anxious, unconsciously squeezing Jeongguk's hand tighter. He could hear Aunt Hana talking to everyone, and he even recognized one of the voices as Jimin, he couldn't believe everyone was there, how unbelievable doomed he was. Everything was happening way too fast, and perhaps Jeongguk was more anxious than him, regretting his decisions about asking him to date, about choosing to finally commit to someone.

The mere thought was dreadful, Taehyung glances over Jeongguk before entering the kitchen, the large and fancy kitchen that Aunt Hana loves and that they dirty the night before.

"Guk" he calls, "You can avoid this... you could just go, and I'll tell them my friend was feeling bad or something"

The alpha looks surprised for a moment, but then his face soften because of how nervous the omega was acting. "Hey, it's alright, I want to have lunch with my boyfriend's family" Jeongguk replies, truly surprising Taehyung, but then he was eyeing the omega suspiciously, because he looked slightly mortified, "You are telling them we are dating, right?"

Taehyung opens his mouth to reply, noticing the light frown on Jeongguk's face, and then hums, nodding, "Yeah, of course" he says, and again the alpha looked relieved, "You really like that word, huh?"

"Which one?"

"Boyfriend~" the omega sings, teasing Jeongguk, who rolls his eyes but was unable to not smile at him, and press a short kiss on his lips. "Okay, okay..." he says, taking a deep breath and turning around again, finally entering the kitchen.

The first thing he saw was Uncle Min already sitting on his usual chair in the header of the table, thankfully very far from the kitchen counter. Taehyung was sure the man had his breakfast there though, he always did. The beta lifts his head, eyeing Taehyung and Jeongguk, and offers them a nod, then he comes back to reading the newspaper. Uncle man was a man of a few words, sometimes of none.

Taehyung clears his throat, eyeing Yoongi also looking down at some book while drinking a glass of lemonade at the other end of the table. While Jimin was near Aunt Hana, helping her with the food, "Morning" he says, knowing how constricted his voice sounded.

He had everyone's eyes on him in a second.

"TaeTae you are final he- Oh!" Jimin beams and then suppress a squeak, small eyes getting big, and covering his mouth after seeing Jeongguk standing next to Taehyung.

"What the fuck" Yoongi gasps, almost dropping his glass of lemonade.

Aunt Hana was the same, her smile not leaving her face, but slightly turning into a shocked expression Taehyung was certain he had never seen in her. "Oh my, this is uhm... unexpected" she says, awkwardly, smiles again, "Jeongguk dear... I haven't seen you for so long"

Jeongguk bows to her, and to Uncle Min too, "Hello" he says, standing up again and cupping Taehyung's hand with both hands, slightly tensed, "Yes, it's been a while"

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Yoongi asks again, voice harsh, and eyes sharp on Jeongguk, with a permanent frown on his face.

"Language, dear" Aunt Hana was quick to scold him, also eyeing Jeongguk, like the alpha's presence in her house was astounding. She looked almost awestruck.

"This is quite a shocker" Jimin giggles, sitting next to Yoongi, smiling so hard his eyes were not longer for their views. But Yoongi glares at him, and the omega tries to recompose himself, looking back at Jeongguk, "You spent the night here?" he asks in a hushed tone, like Yoongi's parents weren't able to hear him.

"Ah, dear, that leather jacket was yours!" Aunt Hana declares to him, tilting her head to observe him better, so curious it was making Taehyung awkward, terrible self-conscious, "I thought Taehyung was studying with his friend again"

Jeongguk furrows his eyebrows, eyeing Taehyung, "What friend?" he asks, and he sounds dead jealous.

Taehyung opens his mouth, slightly shrugging. But Aunt Hana beat him in replying, "The one he always visit late at night on Fridays"

Jeongguk snorts, relaxing his body and face, "I'm that friend" he tells her, and Taehyung smiles awkwardly at her, technically saying he was up to work on his article with a friend wasn't a lie.

"He helped me with my article" he says quickly, and this time Uncle Min looks up at them again, nods his head satisfied and goes back to reading.

"Okay stop" Yoongi groans, shaking his head, and staring at Taehyung with the same sharp eyes he was glaring at the only alpha in the room, "Care to explain why is Jeongguk here?" he snaps again, then his eyes were on Jeongguk again, "When did you even got here?"

"Oh" Jeongguk offers him a crooked smile, one hand letting go of Taehyung's hand to scratch his nape, his nervous habit, "I came here last night to see him..."

"You were sleeping, hyung" Taehyung tells him, hating to see Yoongi like that, so accusatory. Among all of them, he was really looking for his cousin's approval, "I didn't let him go so late" he says, explains, looks at his aunt too, "It's dangerous, and he didn't bring his car..."

"Yes, of course dear" Aunt Hana says to him, most likely ignoring him, and returning her whole attention to Jeongguk, "How is your mother, Jeongguk?"

"She's fine, busy with the incoming Annual Ball" the alpha replies, nonchalantly, but the information seems super interesting for the beta woman.

Jimin kept smiling, giving knowing eyes to Taehyung, and then he whispers to Yoongi, "They are holding hands"

"Taehyung" Yoongi calls him again, waiting.

"Uhm, Jeongguk and I..." he begins, lifting their intertwined hands to show everyone, "We are dating"

"I'm his boyfriend" Jeongguk announces, proudly, just loving how the word rolls off from his tongue.

Jimin was giving them his thumbs up and a big smile, Uncle Min another approving nod, and Aunt Hana was between ecstatic and really astonished, her brain was slowly processing the new information.

But Yoongi was not amused, he continues to look at both of them suspiciously, snappy, "Since when?"

Taehyung looks at his cousin with a grimace on his face, "Since... last night"

"Are you insane?!"

"Hyung" Taehyung stumbles his feet, bratty he knew, but he wanted Yoongi to accept them, to be happy for them.

"Yoongi" Jimin calls by his side.

But Yoongi was unfazed, and he scoffs, "I never thought I would see the day of Jeon Jeongguk committing to someone" says Yoongi, his voice serious, just like his eyes and his whole body, "And I certainly never imagined it would be to younger cousin"

"There's a first time for everything" says Jeongguk back, "I really care about your cousin" he tells Yoongi, voice fill with honesty, and then he sighs, "I got enough time to realize what I was missing while not being with him, how much of a jerk I was..." he utters, "You're free to punch me if I ever upset him again, he told me you like to punch alphas"

"Oh my God" Jimin shrieks, actually pummeling Yoongi in the arm, who looked quite amazed after hearing the alpha, dumbfounded in his seat, "What have you done to Jeongguk, TaeTae?"

Taehyung laughs airily, looking at Jeongguk tenderly, wanting to kiss him but refraining to, opting for just squeezing his hand harder, reassuring him he felt the same way. Jeongguk smiles at him back, taking his other hand too and kissing it.

"That's gross, stop" Yoongi says, but he didn't sound hostile anymore.

"I'm going to serve lunch" Aunt Hana interrupts, smiling sweetly at them, "Let's enjoy this, yes? Jeongguk you are our special guest today, please have a seat with Taehyung"

"Thank you" Jeongguk replies, slightly bowing again.

The lunch was pleasant, mostly everyone enjoying the food Aunt Hana prepared with the help of Jimin. Of course, questions towards the newly declared couple came and went quickly, like 'how long have you been seeing each other?' or 'Are you planning on mating?' which was way too soon, and Jeongguk almost choke on his rice. But mostly were questions towards Jeongguk from Aunt Hana, just asking if he was enjoying the food or if he wanted more. He was getting the special treatment from the beta woman, he even got the biggest dessert.

After eating, the beta couple went to rest, Uncle Min probably wanted to take a nap (he was worse than Yoongi), and the youngers were left alone in the living room. Taehyung was mostly getting used to kiss and just be affectionate with Jeongguk in public now, anytime he wanted, whenever he wanted, it was exciting, something he had never felt before with his first boyfriend, something that only Jeongguk awakened in him.

"I refuse to get used to see them like this" Yoongi groans, talking to Jimin and crossing his arms against his chest.

Jimin laughs, "You should see yourself when you get all mushy with me"

"I don't get mushy" Yoongi defends himself, making Jimin rolls his eyes with an annoyed sigh.

Jeongguk perks up at that, "You're almost as gross as me" he says, nuzzling his nose on Taehyung's neck again, like for the million time that evening.

Taehyung laughs, knowing it was more endearing watching Yoongi acting loving than anything else. "You're cute, hyung"

Jeongguk was not afraid of PDA, and he suddenly brought Taehyung on his lap, whispering to his ear, "I want to take you home with me"

"Enough" Yoongi sighs, shaking his head and pointing a finger towards the door, "Get out"

"Yoongi hyung" Taehyung almost whines, if he wasn't chuckling at the two, "Jeongguk's kidding"

"I am not" Jeongguk tells them, smirking brightly.

Yoongi rolls his eyes, but didn't scold them again, "You should still go. My mother's Tea party starts at 5, and if those omegas see you here with Tae... all Korea will know you two are dating"

"I don't mind" Jeongguk shrugs, looking at Yoongi, arms wrapped securely around Taehyung's waist, "They'll know Tae is mine"

"Fuck" Yoongi exclaims in disbelief, "Who are you and what did you do with Jeon Jeongguk?"

"I think Tae charmed him with a hex" Jimin says to him, smirking at the alpha and the other omega.

Taehyung gaps looking betrayed, "You charmed Yoongi with a hex!" he tells, turning to Yoongi, "Got a doll of you hyung, with pins and stuff"

"Taehyung! I am revoking your soulmate status!" Jimin whines, almost standing up from where he was sitting next to the beta.

"He even stole hair from your hairbrush to put them on the doll"

"That definitely sounds like something Jimin would do" Jeongguk says, shaking his head towards the other omega.

Yoongi looks at Jimin with a frown, mouth hanging barely open, and Jimin starts to panic, throwing himself to the beta and whining, accusing Taehyung and Jeongguk to be jealous because they were more adorable than them.

Eventually Jeongguk did leave. Taehyung accompanying towards the door with a new whole feeling in his heart. It was weird, wonderfully weird.

"That went alright, right?" Jeongguk asks him, holding his leather jacket in one arm while with the other he kept playing with the omega's hair, softly. "My first introduction as a boyfriend"

Taehyung snorts at him, amused, and smiling tenderly, "You're silly" he says, enjoying the feeling of Jeongguk's fingers on his hair, "You don't need to act different, I've already told you that"

Jeongguk nods, returning the smile and then he was becoming serious again, "Thank you" he says while Taehyung tilts his head, confused, "You know... for giving me a chance. Giving us a chance"

Taehyung shakes his head slightly, tickling Jeongguk's chin with this fingers, "You are the one who is giving us a chance, Jeongguk" he tells him, more serious now, "You never wanted to do that before... what changed?"

Jeongguk stares at him for a good moment, he was always blunt and honest, and this time was not different, "I've fallen in love with you" he blurts, stopping his fingers and retracting his hand to touch his own hair, nervous, "I was scared of admitting it" he says, sighing frustrated and then smiling lovingly to the omega, "You are worth it, so fucking worth it Tae... I'm sorry it took me so long to realize it"

Taehyung looks stunned for a moment, feeling his heart beating even in his ears, a peach color dusting his cheeks, "You l-love me?"

"Well yeah" Jeongguk shrugs, trying to look nonchalantly but failing, he was still nervous, "I thought you knew...?"

"H-how?"

"I mean I thought it was clear when I asked you to be my boyfriend?"

Taehyung laughs, but it was sweet, and his hands reaching to touch Jeongguk, to hold him by his shoulders, "Baby, you are like a martian" he says, nuzzling his neck for a brief moment, "And I've fallen in love with you too" he says, leans his head and offers another box-shaped smile, "I realized that I've fallen in love after you turned my world ups and down... And I felt really stupid"

Jeongguk looked heartbroken, he shakes his head and grabs Taehyung hands, kissing his knuckles, "I'm the stupid one" he says, and kiss them, "I'm going to prove to you that you made the right choice, I fucking promise"

Taehyung smiles softly at him, "Just don't break my heart again"

"I never wanted to" Jeongguk says, holding the omega's hands closer to his face, "I am sorry that it happened, Tae, never thought it would end that way... I swear I stopped seeing my fuck buddies after you told me too... And the rut episode was just that... a fucking mistake of my part, I should have thought of you... and I'm sorry"

"It's okay, Jeongguk" Taehyung says to him, "Let's start over, yeah?"

Jeongguk nods, vigorously, "I'm gonna work hard to be a good boyfriend for you" he says, put his hands away just to wrap them around the omega's shoulders, hugging him closer, "I'm gonna love you like you deserve, I promise"

Taehyung smiles while kissing his brand-new boyfriend. Brand-new perhaps, but he felt familiar, safe and comfortable, just like a home, if a person could be described as a home. The moment Jeongguk left, Taehyung started missing him, like those annoying lovesick characters from the books he read, and it was certainly obnoxious for him, but real.

He knew the moment he enters back to the apartment, Yoongi and Jimin would be on him asking questions about Jeongguk, so he braces himself first, taking a deep breath and going back to the penthouse, softly closing the door behind him. Yoongi and Jimin's eyes were already on him,

"You and I" Jimin begins, "We need an omega talk, like right now"

Yoongi rolls his eyes, "Go shower" he says to Taehyung, "You reek of alpha"

Taehyung did reek of alpha, he knew, but his whole bed reek of Jeongguk too, probably his whole room. So instead of listening to his cousin, he just let Jimin go with him towards his room, desperate to have an omega talk with him too. Taehyung knew the other omega would not judge him, Jimin would only ask questions, and never question him, he was great like that, an amazing person, and a better friend.

"I knew it!" Jimin yells at him, going for a hug, "I knew he liked you way too much!" he rambles again, looking amazed and a little giddy, "He basically said 'fuck you' to his family when he decided to date you" he giggles, like it was the best news in the world for him.

But Taehyung was frowning, utterly confused at his side. "What do you mean?"

"TaeTae I told you Jeongguk was like that because of his family, he was raised that way" Jimin tells him, with an eye roll and little disgust directed to Jeongguk's family, "His brother is an asshole. He hits on me every damn time he can, and he's mated! Can you believe it?" he scoffs shaking his head, and scrunching his nose, "And his father... he is the worst one of the Jeons"

"His father?"

"The flawless Mr. Jeon" Jimin says with a hint of venom in his voice, "He's cheats on his wife with young omegas"

Taehyung's frown only grew, "Jeongguk knows that?"

"Of course he does, everybody does"

"That's horrible"

"It is" Jimin tells, getting comfortable by Taehyung's side, cuddling him, "And they all obey Grandpa Jeon like he's the supreme alpha or something. My mom says the old man is a sadist"

"Jimin you are scaring me" Taehyung pouts at him, his eyes looking round and twinkling.

"Don't be scared, Jeonggukie chose you" Jimin says with a wide and bright smile on his face, small fingers tickling Taehyung's tummy, "I always knew he was different from them... he just needed the right person in his life, and that is you" he says, eyes almost sparkling. Taehyung looks back, not denying the way his stomach jumped, "You will probably meet them at the Annual Ball"

"...You are just making me more nervous"

"I'm going to be there, so is Seokjin" Jimin wriggles his eyebrows, "If something bad happens we are not scared of biting"

Taehyung laughs, pinching Jimin's cheeks earning a small whine from him, "Thank you" he says, "You and Jin are the best"

"Me more?"

"Of course you more" Taehyung says, giggling along with Jimin.

Monday classes were always handful, Taehyung sometimes wishes he haven't pick up classes on Monday, especially early in the morning during December, those were the worst because of the cold. But having multiples messages from Jeongguk was a source of energy for him that helped him endure classes. It was unreal though, the words 'I've fallen in love with you' so recently told to him by Jeongguk, it felt like he was still in a dream which was nice but at the same really scary, especially because he thought about Jeongguk as unpredictable, volatile and led by his emotions. The alpha was always frank, but that didn't mean his choices couldn't change from a day to another, just like how he decided he wanted a stable relationship he could think it was too much for him and ended things with Taehyung for good.

That was probably what scared Taehyung the most, the thought of Jeongguk regretting choosing him without even trying. And of course something kept nagging him about trusting him so easily, knowing how he was, how he is, but he chose to give Jeongguk a chance. It was okay, love wasn't about playing safe, quite the opposite actually. And it's foolish to think people has to be perfect in relationships, expect them to be the best, everyone has flaws, and sometimes they turn out more than that, better.

Taehyung suppressed a laugh, looking up at the teacher at the podium of the lecture class, who was already dismissing the students. The omega was quick to gather his things to go out and meet Jeongguk, never mending with his peers and just greetings students who greet him first. Since he started classes late, no one seemed to try to get close to him, instead they only looked at him curiously for being an upper-class omega studying for a not so high-class career, so Taehyung simply focused on his studies.

With quick steps he left the faculty of arts and humanities, eager to see him. Taehyung even took time to look extra pretty that morning, just for him. And apparently Jeongguk put the same effort on him because when Taehyung caught the sight of him he looked like a prince. Not wearing his usual worn-out leather jacket and jeans, and his messy hair. Jeongguk was dressed in black trousers, a long white neck sweater and a long black coat, and his hair was actually combed, definitely handsome, but different. Still, Taehyung would like him even if Jeongguk would wear old sweats all day.

Jeongguk's smile got bright and big when he saw Taehyung approaching him, hands in his back, "Hey beautiful" he says, and Taehyung actually laughed at that, a laughter that was shut with a kiss from the alpha.

"Hi" Taehyung says back after a long kiss, having trouble to break it and separate from the other's lips. He tilts his head curiously looking at what Jeongguk had behind his back, "What are you hiding?"

Jeongguk grins at him, "Close your eyes" he says, and Taehyung slightly narrow his eyes at him but chose to close his eyes, to play along. He hears a shuffle of plastic and paper, and smells the distinctive scent of strawberries and chocolate, "Open them now"

Taehyung blinks his eyes open to be surprised with a bouquet of strawberries covered in chocolate, white, pastel pink and dark chocolate, beautiful and mostly delicious, "Oh Jeonggukie" Taehyung utters, with a big smile on his face and equally big eyes, "This is perfect, I love strawberries! Thank you!"

Jeongguk grins at him, "I thought giving you flowers was a big no after Bob ruined those for you" he chuckles, and Taehyung scrunches his nose at him.

"Don't even mention him" he grunts, for a moment dropping the smile, but quickly returning to swoon over the strawberries, "I would keep them forever"

"No, no, you have to eat them"

"Just one" Taehyung beams, picking a pink one and pulling it out of the bouquet to eat it. He hums satisfied, nodding his head in an approving manner. Jeongguk only smiles further at him, "You have to try it"

"No it's alright-" Jeongguk begins but he was cut by a white chocolate covered strawberry being pump in his mouth. "'S good"

"Of course, my boyfriend brought them for me" Taehyung says to him, grinning and wriggling slightly his eyebrows, teasing the alpha who seemed to smile harder if that was possible.

Jeongguk was a clingy boyfriend, not afraid of public display of affection, Taehyung relearn that when the alpha kissed him again in the middle of campus, where everyone could see. And it wasn't like the small kiss they shared before, it was a whole opened mouth kiss.

Taehyung slips away from the alpha's arms to break the kiss. "People are staring at us" he says, blushing and glancing on the sly around them, students were looking towards their way, discretely looking away when Taehyung caught their eyes.

"Because they hate me" Jeongguk shrugs, a tiny smirk adorning his handsome face, "And they'll hate me more now that I'm dating the prettiest omega in the world" he coos, the smirk growing in his face, and he wriggles his eyebrows, smugly, "I bet all of them want to be in my shoes right now"

Taehyung couldn't help but smile at him, with a tiny eye roll, and offering his hand for him to hold, "You're so cocky"

"Just a little bit" Jeongguk laughs, taking his hand firmly, "Come on, let's get out of here"

As they walk out of the University holding hands, Taehyung noticed that indeed people gave nasty looks to Jeongguk, murmuring behind his back, and he wonder if those people really hate him, and why. Was it because he was arrogant, taking advantage of everything with his charms and his status? Or just because of his last name, with all the weight that comes with it Jeongguk had to carry on his shoulders. Taehyung thought it was a bit of both, commons kids in college would never know how high society works for them.

They got on Jeongguk's jeep, Taehyung not even asking the alpha where they were going, busy with the delicious strawberries on his hand. It turned out that Jeongguk stopped by to buy food and then drove them to his apartment, after all it was too cold for the omega to walk around town, and Taehyung thanked him for that, wanting nothing more than to eat and cuddle in the warmth of Jeongguk's home and arms.

Taehyung learnt that Bulgogi, marinated beef, was one of Jeongguk's favorites. And he ordered a lot of it, constantly feeding Taehyung when the omega complained he was too full to continue eating.

"Stop" Taehyung whines, pulling Jeongguk's arm away that was holding his chopsticks with a slice of meat, "I'm going to get sick"

"You shouldn't have eaten the whole strawberry bouquet, Peachy" Jeongguk tells him bringing the chopsticks to his mouth and eating with a satisfied humming.

Taehyung makes a pout, rolling his eyes, "It's your fault" he says, pulling the thin wooly black blanket Jeongguk passed him up to his chest, "Strawberries are my favorite... I couldn't stop"

Jeongguk laughs, it sounds gentle and fond, just like the way he looks at Taehyung, it made his chest flutter, "Pick a movie while I clean this up" he says, standing up and kissing the omega in his hair, picking up some leftovers and walking towards the kitchen.

Taehyung watches him, smiling silly at him, until he realized he was doing it and focus on choosing a movie, a classic of course, "Jeongguk" he calls, eyes focused on the flat and huge screen Jeongguk had on the living room, "I'm feeling like watching Steven Spielberg classics" he says again, and Jeongguk just murmur something about 'choosing whatever he wants', "How about Jaws?"

"Jaws?!" Jeongguk's voice sounded slightly constipated.

Taehyung paid no mind, "Yeah, it's been ages since the last time I've seen it"

"Ugh" Jeongguk hesitates, and Taehyung turns to look at him with a light crease between his brows. The alpha brushes it off, before turning towards the fridge, "Yeah, sure, whatever you want"

"Okay" the omega stares suspiciously for a moment, turning around, picking Jaws and pausing it to wait for the alpha to join him. "I love the part where the shark eats the woman at the beginning" he says, but Jeongguk didn't reply, and if Taehyung would had paid more attention to him and not to the screen in front of him he would had noticed the way Jeongguk gulped, opening his eyes widely, looking horrified.

Jeongguk moves slowly towards him, a can of diet coke in each hand, until he finally reached the couch, sitting next to Taehyung and handing him one of the cokes. The movie started and Jeongguk was already tensed by his side, but then Taehyung was pulling him closer, cuddling him, and covering both with the black blanket, that helped Jeongguk relaxed a bit, until the first scene where the shark eats the woman appears and at the same time the bell door was ringing, Jeongguk jumped so high it made Taehyung almost fall off the couch.

The alpha clears his throat, standing straight near the couch while the omega was looking at him suspiciously, "I'm not scared" he says, furrowing his eyebrows and sniffing.

Taehyung grins at him, about to tease him when the doorbell rang again, he slightly furrow his eyebrows, "Are you expecting someone?"

"No" says Jeongguk, scratching the back of his head and walking towards the entrance. Taehyung pauses the movie, eyes focused on the alpha as he went to open the door, a feeling of discomfort setting on his chest. And then he heard Jeongguk saying, "Noona?"

"Jeonggukie!" a woman's voice said, and all Taehyung saw next was that woman wrapped in his boyfriend's arms, and Jeongguk was actually hugging her back, tightly, until they separated from each other, but they kept holding hands for a moment, and Taehyung was really trying to not feel jealous and get angry at the alpha, but then the woman was reaching to touch Jeongguk's face with her dainty hand and a really fond look in her eyes, "So handsome"

Jeongguk laughs, a childish laughter, as he pull the woman inside the apartment, "What are you doing here?" he asks, "I thought we were going to see each other for Christmas"

Taehyung had a big frown, unconsciously kneeling in the couch to watch their interaction. Was Jeongguk seriously ignoring him and swooning over that girl? He had a better look and smell on her now, she was a beautiful omega, long black hair and big doe eyes, and she actually had a toothy smile too, similar to Jeongguk, Taehyung only felt more jealous.

"I came to Seoul to run some errands, and I have some news I wanted to share with you in person" she says, smiles so prettily Taehyung couldn't help but to clear his throat loudly, gaining the attention from her, and from Jeongguk. The woman stares at him, not dropping her smile, and says, "Oh, hello there!"

"Hi" says Taehyung, weakly smiles at her because of course he wasn't going to be rude, but then he turns to Jeongguk cocking an eyebrow at him, and just waiting for an explanation.

Jeongguk opens his eyes widely, "Oh, no, no, Tae, this is my sister, Suji"

"Oh" Taehyung mutters, suddenly feeling very stupid for thinking so badly about the alpha, and Jeongguk's sister seems to understand as she laughs airily walking towards him, and up closely she looked really alike to Jeongguk, they were obviously siblings. "I'm sorry, hi, I'm Taehyung"

Jeongguk grins at them, "Suji" he calls, "Taehyung is my boyfriend"

The woman, Suji, drops her smile, replacing by a shocked expression on her face. Taehyung couldn't hide his smile by seeing her so surprised, totally understanding the reactions. "What?" she finally asks, exclaims loudly, and then smiles brightly at Taehyung, "Are you serious?"

Jeongguk nods, still grinning at her expression, then he looks at Taehyung and suddenly his eyes were so soft and loving that had Suji smiling fondly at her brother, "Yeah" says Jeongguk, "He's got me wrapped in his pretty finger"

"Don't say that" Taehyung whines, feeling flustered, Jeongguk really had no filter in his words.

"I'm so happy for you, baby brother" Suji says, giving him another hug, and then smiling at Taehyung, "You're gorgeous" she says, "And you are Jeongguk's first relationship ever! I can't believe it!" she smiles, beams, and turns to Jeongguk again, "I'm proud of you brother"

"Don't be dramatic" Jeongguk rolls his eyes, "Now tell me your news"

Suji suddenly smiles so hard her eyes disappeared, making little crinkles at the corner, so similar to Jeongguk's own smile. "Okay" she says, holding his hand again and making him seat next to Taehyung, "You're going to be an uncle again" she smiles, "I'm pregnant"

Jeongguk almost jumps from his seat to congratulate his sister, hugging her again, and telling her how happy he was for her and for her husband. Taehyung felt warm all over, watching Jeongguk with his sister, and looking so genuinely happy for her. He remembered how Jeongguk told him she was married and living in Busan, coming to visit him once in a while, and he also remembered that the alpha told him how their father was with them, how his sister was disinherited from their family. Taehyung took another good look on her, she wasn't wearing any expensive designers clothes, but she looked so happy and sincere, so different from other women in high society.

She stayed with them for a while, sharing anecdotes about little Jeongguk with Taehyung, to the horror of the alpha. And she ended up talking about books and how amazing she thought Taehyung was for wanting a career he loves and not following the norms imposed by their class.

"I'm so happy Jeonggukie is with you" Suji says to Taehyung, while Jeongguk was in the kitchen preparing tea for them like a good brother and a good boyfriend, "I feel like he's grown since the last time I saw him, more down to earth you know?"

"Well he was really against commitment when we first met" Taehyung says with a weak smile, "He made it clear to me"

She slightly frowns, "I know he was, he and my other brother were taught to act a certain way. I guess you already know the story"

"A little bit of it, yeah" he replies, "He always talk great about you though"

Suji smiles, softly but Taehyung could see a hint of sadness in her eyes, it lingered only for a brief moment, "He's the only family I have left" she says, "You know, from the Jeons... but I'm a Nam now"

Taehyung nods at her, "You miss them?"

"No" she answers, quickly, not hesitating, "I'm happy now... with them I could never be happy"

"I'm glad you are happy now, you look happy" Taehyung tells her, and she smiles again, prettily, even when her eyes were slightly wet.

"Let's not get sappy" she says, fanning herself, "I'm super sensitive with these pregnancy hormones"

Taehyung laughs, "You could watch a movie with us" he says, and she turns to look at the screen, gasping loudly, "We can watch something else! You should only watch happy things"

"Oh no it's okay" she says quickly, shaking her head, "I guess Gukkie really changed, he was so afraid of sharks when he was little"

Taehyung raises his eyebrows, thinking in how tensed his boyfriend was while watching Jaws, "What? Really?"

"Yeah, he had galeophobia or something" she says, and Taehyung opens his mouth to answer when Jeongguk was coming back with the teas.

"I would make great tea parties" he says, putting the tray on the coffee table, "Better than Aunt Hana I bet" he says, amused by his own joke, until he saw his sister and his boyfriend looking at him weirdly, "What?"

"Oh Jeongguk!" Taehyung calls loudly, standing from the couch and going to hug the alpha, "You were afraid of sharks? That's why you almost cry when the shark ate the woman?" he asks, hugging him, but Jeongguk was mortified for a moment, and then he just settled into glaring at his sister, "I'm so sorry I didn't know!"

"I'm not afraid of sharks" Jeongguk states, coldly, glaring at both.

"Want me to put the part when the shark eats the hunter? Showing all his sharp teeth?" his sister asks, sweetly.

"No" Jeongguk was quick to answer, tensing his shoulders.

"Jeonggukie you're so cute" Taehyung coos at him, tickling him under his chin.

"I'm not cute" Jeongguk replies quickly, grabbing the omega's wrist in a tight grip, "I can box the shark in the nose"

Suji laughs, clapping her hands amused, "Taehyung did you know he started boxing thinking he could defense himself from sharks by punching them in the nose?"

"I would kick you out if you weren't pregnant" Jeongguk growls at her, but there was not malice behind his words.

She and Taehyung laughs, and eventually Taehyung changes the movies, switching it to some concert online of different bands playing blues. Jeongguk's sister stayed for another hour with them, she was sweet, and funny, and totally different from what Taehyung imagined a Jeon would be. After she left, Jeongguk seemed happier than before, just because Taehyung had the chance to meet his sister first than the rest of his family.

"I like your sister" says Taehyung, head resting on Jeongguk's chest, feeling how steady his heartbeat was, and letting himself be engulf of his scent of tonka beans, "She's really sweet"

"She is" Jeongguk answers, his fingers working on the omega's hair, brushing and caressing gently.

"Can I ask you something?" he asks the alpha who hums in response, "After she chose to stay with the man she loves... your whole family stopped talking to her?"

"Yeah" Jeongguk utters, voice a little stern, "They vanished her" he tells the omega, stopping the movement of his fingers for a moment, thinking, "My mother only calls her for her birthdays" he sighs, returning to caress the omega's hair again, "Doesn't even know her grandchildren"

Taehyung furrows his eyebrows, scowling at the thought, "That's awful" he says, earning just a hum from Jeongguk. He shifts lightly his position to place his chin on the alpha's chest, looking up at him while holding him tightly, "Another question"

"Shoot" Jeongguk says cocking an eyebrow.

Taehyung hesitates into asking, biting his bottom lip while staring at Jeongguk's dark and intense eyes, staring back at him with the same power as usual. The omega looks away for a moment and question him, "Is it your family the reason you were so afraid of commitment?"

Jeongguk stares, and his heartbeat doesn't change at all. Taehyung expected for him to get a little defensed at the question, but the alpha just looked blank, "It's hard for me to trust people" he simply says, and looks away from Taehyung to the ceiling, "People tends to disappoint"

It was true, Taehyung sympathized with that. Bogum disappointed him, and for a while Jeongguk also disappointed him, but he was a hard believer that people need chances, and they may surprise you. So he smiles, hands reaching for Jeongguk's chin, tickling and making him look at him again. "I chose to trust you again" he says with his pretty smile, so gentle it took the alpha by surprise, "And you chose to trust me"

"I did" Jeongguk says to him, staring at him so strongly it seemed for Taehyung he was looking right at his soul, "I'm trusting my heart to you, Tae" he says, and he sounded vulnerable. Taehyung smiles at him, holding himself with his hands to lift himself and give Jeongguk a tiny kiss, just to return to his place on his chest. Jeongguk smiles at him, thumb going to caress his right cheek, just where his mole was. "My father taught me to not trust anyone and to not show weakness. That were his two rules since I turned fourteen" he explains, a grimace now adorning his features, "The first time I found out he was cheating on my mother was when I was eighteen"

Taehyung creases his eyebrows, opening his mouth and inhaling sharply, "I'm sorry, Jeongguk"

"I should had known" Jeongguk replies, with a shrug, "They had been married for 30 years but they were never in love" he says, now looking away from Taehyung's eyes again, staring into nothing in particular, "My brother is the same... And at some point I thought I would be like that too. That it was meant to be like that, for me" he says, looking back at the omega in his arms, "With a convenient marry and living my parallel life on the side. Now I feel like you're saving me from all that, Peachy"

"Jeongguk..." Taehyung begins, shifting again and getting closer to Jeongguk's face, to try and cup his face, "It's you" he says, smiling reassuringly at the alpha, "You're the one choosing another path. It's all on you"

"I deserve more kisses then" Jeongguk smiles at him, staring from his eyes to his lips, now so close to his own. Taehyung kisses him sweetly, gaining a satisfied hum from the alpha. "Maybe I deserve another kind of kisses" he says with a grin, suggestively, wriggling his eyebrows teasingly, "You know the ones you gave me the other night"

Taehyung rolls his eyes, but a laugh escapes his mouth either way, "You have to settle on regular kisses today" he says, brushing his lips against Jeongguk's, "I'm lazy"

Jeongguk chuckles, catching his lips in another kiss. Breathy and welcoming, "I am satisfied with that" he says between the kiss, just to press back into the omega's lips again.

There was intensity in the way Jeongguk kisses him, and Taehyung answered just as hungry for him. The omega loved how Jeongguk would try to pull him even closer, loved when he wrapped him around his body like that. Jeongguk's arm around his waist, and his other hand holding him by the back of his neck, fingers tangled in his hair. They made out like that, Taehyung wasn't sure how long, the only thing he knew was he adored every second of it.

After what seemed like hours, Jeongguk took his lips away from his mouth. The hand that was resting on his nape went to his face, caressing the skin there tenderly, and Jeongguk's eyes shown pure loving instead of his usual intensity.

"Beautiful"

Taehyung smiles at him, kissing the tip of his nose, and getting more comfortable at his side, "Jeonggukie?" he asks, and Jeongguk hums, "Are you scared of every shark?"

Jeongguk groans, "No" he says, "Just when they show their teeth" he says, and Taehyung giggles at him, "Don't laugh at me"

"I'm not laughing at you" Taehyung says but he was still giggling. Jeongguk rolls his eyes, with a prominent pout on his face, "It's cute!"

"No it's not"

"It is" Taehyung reassures him, "You can't be a big bad alpha all the time, baby. We can even go to an aquarium and meet cute little sharks, maybe you won't be scared of them"

"Baby" Jeongguk repeats.

Taehyung rolls his eyes, "That's all you got from what I've said?"

Jeongguk laughs, "Yes, now stop talking about sharks and come back here" he says, and Taehyung complies quickly, deciding to just enjoy his boyfriend for the afternoon.

It became a comfortable and sweet habit for Taehyung to be picked up by Jeongguk and have lunch with him after, sometimes dinner when Taehyung's classes ended late. And he got commentaries from people he didn't even know throughout the week, nasty comments about Jeongguk, bad comments about the type of guy he was, and some of them almost warning Taehyung to stop the relationship before he gets cheated on. Taehyung ignored most of them, but if it was needed for him to step in and defend his boyfriend he did it, proud and in love. Vicious, jealous people were mean, and they criticize others because they were lacking, Taehyung was sure no one would dare to say those things to Jeongguk's face.

On the other hand, Jeongguk had probe to be a good boyfriend, affectionate and loyal, like a Golden Retriever turned alpha, really. He was making Taehyung feel safe and loved in their new relationship, when Jeongguk told him he wanted to commit he wasn't joking, he was settling down with the omega, making sure for him to know he was in it for the long haul. He never had to guess how Jeongguk was feeling, the alpha didn't hide it, he made sure to show Taehyung his emotions.

And Taehyung loved it.

And by Friday, everyone was getting ready for Seokjin's birthday getaway. "Baby" Jeongguk says over the phone, "Jin hyung texted me if I didn't mind seeing you with your new boyfriend in the trip... what the hell?"

Taehyung laughs while roaming through his closet looking for appropriate clothes for Seokjin's getaway birthday weekend, "Jimin told him I was bringing my new boyfriend" he giggles, holding the phone between his shoulder and cheek, "He doesn't know that said boyfriend is you"

Jeongguk snorts over the phone, his voice coming out smoothly, "I bet Jimin wants to be there to see Jin's face when he founds out"

"He wants to film him too" Taehyung replies, picking a white puffy jacket and examining it with his eyes, "Should I take light clothes too?"

"Yeah, everything is tempered in the cottage" Jeongguk replies, and Taehyung hears the sound of water running in the back, "Pick up some light sweaters and bathing trunks for the hot springs"

"I've never been in a hot spring before" Taehyung squeals, throwing the white puffy jacket on his bed and grabbing a couple of sweaters, "I'm excited"

Jeongguk hums, "I'm more excited to be with you in it"

"Mischievous" Taehyung grins, "What time are you going to arrive?"

"I'll be there at 4" Jeongguk tells him, "I'm going to take a shower now"

"Okay... see you in an hour then"

"Later baby" Jeongguk says before hanging up the call.

Taehyung resumes his packing with a silly smile on his face, it was just the weekend, but he had to make sure to bring every necessities he would need. It was his first time visiting PyeongChang, he only had seen the county on TV to watch the Winter Olympics, and according to Yoongi the driving distance between Seoul to PyeongChang was of two hours. They usually went there in two or three vehicles, this year Jeongguk offered himself to drive Yoongi and Jimin too, just to be with Taehyung. And to say Taehyung was excited it was an understatement, besides, he was going with Jeongguk and all his friends which made it a thousand times better.

It was almost 4 pm when Taehyung had finish picking up clothes and accessories, dragging his Louis Vuitton suitcase to the living room where Yoongi was already waiting for him, ready, and Aunt Hana packing a bunch of egg sandwiches for them, and cookies of course.

"What time will your boyfriend arrive?" Yoongi asks, munching on one sandwich while sitting on the settee.

"Yoongi dear, don't eat them all! I only made twenty of them" Aunt Hana scolds, but her playful smile told Taehyung she was just showing off her sandwich skills.

Yoongi rolls his eyes, "She made them extra delicious just because of Jeongguk" he says to Taehyung.
