What's Heartbreak Theory?

Only the greatest garage band that ever walked the halls of West Valley High. Started by Ezra Moskowitz, leader singer, and guitarist at the age of fourteen, alongside his best friends Anakin and Effie—bassist and drummer. The members of Heartbreak Theory had dreams to make it big, but first, they had to get through one of the toughest times in their lives—high school.

And that seems to be the easier said than done because along with high school comes the many trials and tribulations of teenage love, crushes, and the dreaded feeling of having your heart broken. Not to mention, the occasional karate brawl that comes along with jumping into the karate bandwagon that seems to take over the entire Valley.

Being in love was already difficult enough, but add the factor of being in love with your best friend's brother, and you have an even bigger problem. For as long as he can remember, Ezra has been in love with his brother's best friend, Demetri Alexopoulos. He was his first crush and the only person that Ezra was ever able to imagine himself being in a relationship with.

As for Anakin, being in love with Ezra's brother, Eli, felt like committing a crime. He didn't dare say a word of it to Ezra, fearing that he would hate him forever if he found out. Keeping it a secret seemed like the only option until Anakin can't take the overwhelming pressure of keeping his feelings locked away.

And Effie? She was just along for the ride, trying her hardest not to lose her mind from constantly being surrounded by oblivious teenage boys.

now, this fic has been in my drafts for a while, i just felt nervous?? about publishing it. but i honestly i think this is one of the greatest fics i have ever come up with. originally, it was just going to be ezra x demetri, but then the idea hit me one night: bfb x2. and thus, anakin x eli was born.

and you know, of course one of my ocs has to have a tragic backstory/home life. sorry anakin...

also effie is the voice of reason. she knows EVERYTHING. there is nothing that gets past her and you best believe she is going to give all the boys a hard time for being oblivious idiots.
