Chapter 4:  Angel's Guardian. 

Both Shivaay and Anika became friends, In fact, Best friends, In those three days. He stayed with her as she also bunked the school along with him. The four have a great time in those three days. Shivaay never laughed like that in his life when he stayed with him. After the third day, He had to return back to his hostel back to his normal life after that. But he never had an idea that his life changed forever. Anika came to his hostel regularly to give him homemade food as he didn't get cured completely. Anika stopped talking with her so-called friends and started to spend her whole time with him. When he was working in the restaurant, She stayed for the whole five hours, And spend another hour with him then leaves her house. Her daadu asked her about her changed behaviour. She didn't say anything which was going in her heart currently. But the cloud named confusion cleared along with the time. And the time came When she finally recognized her love for him. 

It was cultural time, The school students didn't let shivaay to participate in any of the competition. Because of that, Anika refused to take part in the dance competition. The students requested her. Especially, Her dance partner, Vivian pleaded her to join in the dance competition. She just insulted him in front of everyone. But she eventually had to participate when shivaay asked her to do so. She couldn't able to ignore him. She started her practising session with Vivian. The time came when they were about to perform in the stage. Shivaay was eagerly waiting for anika's performance. But the host, Instead of taking anika's name took some other girls name along with Vivian. Shivaay was super-confused when he danced with that girl with the same steps which he practised with anika. Shivaay went to backstage. But Anika wasn't visible anywhere. His next instinct went to the dressing room. He moved towards there and knocked it. Instead, he heard sobs. 

"Ani...Are you inside?" - He asked. But he got terrified when the sobs became loud. He knew it was anika. 

"Ani... Is that you?" - He asked in a terrified tone. 

"Shi...vaaayy" - She again cried while taking his name. 

"Why are you crying? Open the door... Why you aren't in the stage?" - He asked her but he heard her sobs in return. His heart started to beat fast in confusion. 

"Ani... Why are you crying? open the door... Please... I am scared" - Shivaay said in a crying tone. 

"I can't" - She replied cryingly. 

"why?" - He shouted back. 

"Because i am naked... That girl stole my clothes... I have nothing to wear... How... How can... How can i open the door?" - She asked in between her sobs. The crowd started to clap. After hearing that, He had no idea, What to do. But he was sure, Within ten minutes, Crowd must be emerging out from the auditorium, Before that, He should take her out from the place. 

"Ani... You trust me?" - He asked her. She stopped crying. 

"Yes" - She replied. He removed his sweater, followed by his shirt. He gave it to her. 

"Wear them... Sweater on your upper body and shirt, Roll them in around your waist and come out... We have only ten minutes, Before that, We have to reach a safer place... We can't be here ani..." - Shivaay said and gave his sweater along with his shirt, She opened the door slightly and take it from his hand. Anika emerged out wearing them. Shivaay's eyes didn't move away from her eyes. He held her hand while looking at her eyes and they ran at their high speed and reached the library. Shivaay found it a safer place. They entered and closed the door from inside. He checked the windows and closed the curtains. They were in dark. Over then, Anika hugged him from the back and broke down. He held her palms tightly when he couldn't able to take her tears longer. She reached the floor while crying. 

"Ani... Please don't cry..."  - Shivaay tried to calm her off reaching the floor, But she hugged him in the return and cried on his shoulder saying everything. how it was well-planned revenge for Vivian for insulting him in front of everyone. His blood started Biol in rage when anika cried on his shoulder telling everything. 

"Listen to me, Ani..." - He cupped her face and made him look at her. She looked at him and she was still crying. 

"You're the strongest girl i have ever known... Don't waste your tears for that bastards..." - He thundered while cupping her face. when she bowed her face down, He again made her look at him. 

"NO MORE TEARS, ANI... YOU'RE LISTENING, Right..." - He asked her. She nodded while closing her eyes. He engulfed her to a hug in a very next second, He hugged her tightly like he never wanted to leave her from his grip ever. Anika also don't want to come out of his grip. Whenever he heard any footsteps, He tightened the grip as anika got scared. But loosen the grip when they left. The time reached twelve, Shivaay checked his watch. 

"Ani... I think there's nobody... I will go to my room and bring you some clothes..."  - Shivaay said. 

"Please, Don't go... Please don't go... Please don't go..." - She started to repeat the same words in anxiety. 

"Ani... Ani... Ani... Trust me... I will go and bring you some clothes... I will be back in two minutes...  Count till 100... I will come back within that..." - He said while caressing her hair. She nodded yes, Continuously.

"Start" - Shivaay asked her. 

"ONE" - Anika started to count. He emerged out of the library and asked her to close the library door after he left. She did the same. When he was rushing towards his hostel, He saw Vivian enjoying his winning trophy in the ground. But he didn't stop rushing. He went towards the room and took one of his thick t-shirts and a jean. Nobody hell cared to notice him as he was running shirtless with his inner-te. Even though they care, It won't affect him. His only care was on during that time with anika. 

"Ninty three..." - He heard her voice from the library. 

"Anika... I came..." - He told her. She came towards the door and slightly opened it. Instead of coming inside, He gave the clothes he brought for her. She took them from his hands and looked him through the slightly opened space. 

"Change... I will drop you in your home..." - He said in a calm tone. She changed and gave his shirt and sweaters to him. Without even hesitating, He wore them in the open space. And held her palms. 

"I can't walk... My legs are shivering..." - She whispered to shivaay. 

"What happened?" - He checked her legs but there were no wounds. 

"I don't know, But I can't walk..." - She said while bursting out in tears. He pulled her closer to him and hugged her. 

"Don't cry... I told you, Right... Strong girls don't cry..." - He said, She hugged him back and buried her face in his shoulder. 

"Why me?" - She asked. 

"I know... They deserve punishment..." - Shivaay whispered in her ears. But she hugged him tighter. He wrapped his hands around her shoulder and made his way towards the entrance of the school. He saw the restaurant where shivaay was working open. He waved his hands to his friend and crossed the door leaving anika to sit in the watchman's chair. He came with his friend motorbike and helped anika to get in. She blindly did what he asked. Within two minutes, They reached her bungalow. Shivaay stopped his motorbike. Over that past two minutes, She was hugging him tightly. She didn't want to leave but she got down. 

"Ani... Don't think about anything... Have a peaceful night... I promise when you get back, Everything will get fine..." - Shivaay said while cupping her face, She smiled with a pair of welled up eyes. She turned back but her heart didn't want to leave him. she stopped walking towards her house and turned back to shivaay. 

"Shivaay..." - She called him. He looked at her When she saw him rushing towards her. 

"What happened?" - Shivaay asked in a tensed tone. 

"I... I..." - No words came from her afterwards. When the words stopped helping her. She cupped his face with teary eyes and kissed him in his lips. He was surprised by her action but when she burst to cry, He cupped her face in return and kissed her back. She stopped crying and pulled him more closer to her while kissing him. He got down from his bike and pulled her waist towards him and kissed her continuously without any break. They parted away when they found very difficult to breathe. But their foreheads were still kissing. 

"Ani... You trust me, Right..." - He whispered while closing his eyes. 

"More than myself" - She whispered back while closing her eyes. 

"Then, Leave everything to me and sleep peacefully... I swear, I won't leave him in peace..." - Shivaay whispered. She nodded while tears crossed her eyes. 

"And No more tears for that bastard... You won't cry, Again..." - shivaay asked her while wiping her eyes. She nodded and broke the hug. She opened her eyes. 

"And..." - She said. 

"And what?" - He asked.

"You know i love you, Right?" - She asked him. 

"You also know i love you the way you do, Right" - He asked her. She chuckled while looking at the ground. 

"Keep smiling, Ani... That's the only thing driving me to live..." - He said. She smiled and made her way to her house. He kick-started his bike and went back, Not before waving her bye. She waved at him back. More than getting an embarrassing feeling, She felt excited to go to the school the next day. The kiss they shared came to her mind, Whenever she see herself before the mirror. She switched to her uniform and kept his cloth in her cupboard safely. She made her way towards her school. Up to her shock, When she entered school, Vivian was running towards the entrance while scratching his whole body, He was half-naked and his whole body was full of red rashes. At one point, He zipped down his pant and threw it aside, Scratched his thighs vigorously. Over the next moment, It was unexpected he threw his underwears and ran towards the swimming pool, Naked. Before hundreds of people. 

Anika was shocked and wondered how karma worked this much quicker. But when she saw shivaay's nearer to one of the classrooms with a casual face, She understood, Someone didn't wait till karma punish him. The whole crowd eyes were on Vivian but My eyes locked with shivaay who was smirking evilly looking at him.
