Anika POV.

I think this night will be one of the longest night, After hearing the story, Don't know what happened to me. I feel like i want to cry but no tears rushing outside. In the past month, I never saw him this much happier. My god, The smile, I can die for that smile. Oh my god! What's happening to me. Why the hell i am thinking like this? His tone clearly says that he likes someone else anika, Don't expect anything and get hurt, Ani. Don't forget, There is nobody in this world to wipe off your tears. 

When he narrated the story, For a second, I forget everything which was happening in my life and started to enjoy the story. I became part of that story. Don't know why his smile still gives chills in my stomach. He really has charisma in him. What would have happened in his life? But seeing him as a doctor, I am feeling like, He finally got into the driver seat and drove it in the right direction. Dr Shivaay Singh Oberoi, MBBS. MS. He said He's an orphan. Then, Who am i? Despite having parents, I am feeling like an orphan. But I experienced the real heartbreak when my daadi came to this hospital in the visiting hours and tried to explain about the importance of getting me married to Atharv Singhania. 

I thought she will always be in my side. But listening to his son, She also changed. I know, I am nothing but an investment to her son. But everyone has their own selfish reason. she said, My father's business will get drowned if i didn't marry him. At the very next second, I wanted to ask her AM I A ROBOT? But i stayed silent. Thankfully, Any hospital authorities didn't allow them to stay the whole day. It gives me some time to breathe. But whenever the doc visits, I actually feel like living. Don't know about the reasons, But i like his presence. Can anyone show me the way to stay with lifelong?

"Do this sky give me the end to this sufferings?" I asked the sky by looking through the window while laying in the bed. Don't know what i am thinking. What's going in my mind, But for now, I badly needed my doc's Presence. I know i am expecting much. Even i am ready to die If this expectation tried to kill me. My eyes shut down, Dozed off. But i know, He will definitely alive in my dreams.

Anika never waited for the sun to rise at any point in her life with she could remember. At last, Like saint who got to see the god, she was delighted to see shivaay when he emerged inside with the same smile, In anika's language, It was a killing smile. But upto her surprise, He came with a gift. 

"Hi... How are you?" - He greeted her as soon as he came inside. 

"Not fine, Until you start the story again..." - Anika said while gazing the gift in his hand. And looked into his eyes again. 

"Don't burn me with your gaze, This is for you..." - Shivaay gave that gift to her. Her eyes sparkled when He said that he brought a gift for her. She took it from his hand gently and looked back at him. 

"Why are you seeing me? Open it... I bought it for you" - Shivaay said in a cherished tone. She opened the gift. She was surprised for a second. 

"A Diary..." - Anika asked him.

"Yeah, Diary! I thought you might need this..." - Shivaay said with the same cherished tone. 

"How do you know?" - Anika asked him surprisingly. 

"You mean i am right... You need this... I guessed right" - Shivaay asked her. Even though, He knows about her. 

"I have a habit of writing whenever my mind is in a messed-up state... Thank you, doc... I don't know how you came to know about it... Yeah, It's working..."- Anika said with a smile. 

"I have my own purpose behind gifting this to you! Your Right hand started to recover... So start writing, It will like giving exercises to your fingers..."- Shivaay said.

"But what shall i write?" - Anika asked him. 

"Write the story which i am narrating... Who knows in the future you might have an opportunity for publishing it..." - Shivaay said with a chuckle. Anika felt a spark, But for then, She didn't reply anything to him but smiled at him. 

"Okay! I am waiting for the rest of the story!" - Anika said. 

"Not now, I have to go for a round... After that!" - Shivaay said and rushed out of the room.

It had been six hours since Shivaay narrated her the story, She was very much confused, How someone can love someone this much extent. And she was pretty sure, He still loves her like anything even though he denies that. But the fact, he loves someone else to this extent broke her apart, But she had no idea, Why that feeling giving her peace rather than restlessness. She smiling responded for the pain which created in her heart because of his story. She knew there was something about the story connecting her life. But she couldn't figure them out. But for now, She knew what she should do. She opened the diary, The first page was blank. She searched for the pen. She found shivaay's silver sparkling pen across the table. 

She took them, And write "ONLY HOPE" in the block big letters in the first page. Her brain said She became mad. But She was happy being mad. 

"I know, It's foolish... But Doc, I really want to be your angel... I know it's not possible in real-life, But It can happen in my imaginary world" - She said and replaced the name angel with her name Anika. She wrote the first chapter with her name. 

"From now on, It's not Shivaay's Angel...  It will be Shivaay's Anika..." - Anika said to herself while kissing the diary. It was not only heard by her but also by shivaay who witnessing everything through the CCTV camera from his cabin. He knew he going against hospital rules by fixing Secret Camera in her room. But he could go any extent for anika. 

"Yeah, Ani... You're right! It will be always, Shivaay's Anika..." - He said with a smile, Soon his smile faded away when the spark of his past hit his heart. He was bleeding. But nobody could sense that.

Chapter 2: Angel's smile. 

It has been one year since shivaay started to follow anika. There were many times when he gathers up the courage to have a talk with her. But he couldn't make it, He just couldn't. He had no idea, Which was stopping him? Her status or His inferiority. But whatever it was, He was graving a very big mistake by staying away from her. Even though there was nobody called friends for him in the school. He didn't let that affect his academics. He became the School topper in the Eleventh standard in the school's history. The people who used to give him a disgusting look wondered to see his success. Some people were just jealous and cursed the management for putting grace marks. But when Anika saw his name in the notice board. She felt proud even though she had no idea, How he looks. Shivaay started to jump in happiness when she saw her smiling when she saw his name in the notice board from a fine 10-meter distance. 

After shivaay started to work there, It became a habit for anika to visit the restaurant which was nearer to the school, But she had no idea, Shivaay was working there until one day. She ordered fried memos. Upto her surprise, It was super good. She was desperate to see the person who cooked that for her rather taking another. Asking none, She moved towards the kitchen because she tried calling the waiter multiple times. But the cook never came in front of her for one time. This time, She straightly moved towards the kitchen to know about him leaving all her friends confused. 

She was shocked to see shivaay who was working in his school uniform. She gazed him from his head to toe with a smile. Seeing her over there,  His feet rooted in surprise. She recognized it was that topper boy at the very next second. Because she heard couple of times from her friends that He's working part-time. But she had no idea, He would be working in her favourite restaurant which serves her delicious food every time. She couldn't able to do anything other than smiling at him. No words were spoken, He was rooted in the same place and she was also rooted in the same place smilingly. But that moment didn't last for a while when her friends followed her to the kitchen and saw him over there. 

"So... Mr Weirdo working here... I should expect this seeing the condition of the restaurant, Such a third-class restaurant..." - One of her friends spelt which waving his hand against his face. Shivaay was used to this insult but not before Anika. He became weak. But Anika sensed it from his face and came for his rescue. 

"I should have expected you when this restaurant serves with the tastiest food... It must have prepared by Mr Topper..." - Anika said with a wide smile. It was just a word for anika, But For Shivaay, It's something more. He reached heaven in happiness because of her words along with the smile. 

"For the food, You prepared for me, I really want to hug you" - Anika said and moved towards him. He stayed like a statue, He had no idea what was going on the earth when she hugged him. Automatically his hands came towards her waist, It was a gentle hug. It was just a friendly hug for anika but for shivaay, it's something divine. Tears crossed his eyes but he wiped it off before anyone could notice. 

"Okay, tell me, Will you be available by tomorrow at four? After school?" - Anika asked him. He stayed silent. He was grouping words inside his mind and replying in mind. But she couldn't able to hear them.

"I know you're busy but I need, I mean we need your help" - She said while turning around her friends. He stayed silent. But inside his mind, He said yes to whatever she asked. 

"I swear i won't take more than ten minutes..." - She added. Failing to reply from his mouth, He nodded his head positively. 

"Thank you so much! Not for tomorrow but for everything... Bye... See you tomorrow" - Anika said and waved him goodbye with an angelic smile. She had no idea what was going in his mind. But he was in his peak of happiness. After a long time, He was smiling wholeheartedly. That too, Because of her.
