Anika's POV

How will i measure the day today? Atharv's unexpected visit and shivaay's unexpected disappearance. I never thought one day I will feel like a kite, Which always wanted to fly in the sky but still controlled by the person who was in the ground. Neither it can enjoy its time with sky nor it can go back to ground wholeheartedly by accepting the reality that it was nothing but a non-living thing which is owned by someone who's controlled by the person who is in the ground. 

Today, Atharv came with full preparation, He got permission from the chief doctor to stay with me till night, He brought everything from Ludo to snake and ladder. I never thought he might have this much time in his life apart from his business to spend with me. I never expected anything from Athrav, I didn't expect him to spend some time with me. I didn't expect him to take care of me. But he did everything on his own will and didn't let me feel alone for the whole day. But I was alone, Inspite having Atharv with me. I was yearning for shivaay for his presence. Previously, One glance from him was enough for the whole day. Because In the rest of the time, I spend the time by imagining my life with him which gave me immense happiness but now with Atharv, I just couldn't able to convince my heart. Atharv left before three hours, But it didn't give me any impact but shivaay didn't visit me since morning, That gave me a huge impact, I am just a stage away to cry aloud. come soon, Doc.

Shivaay stayed away from her for the entire day, Even though he wanted to go to her and drag him out of the room, He stayed calm and silent. But when he saw him leaving her ward through the CCTV. But Her face was still dull. He knew she's not okay with marriage. But he don't why she still pretending like everything fine. When he was about to go, There was a surgery lined up for him which he had to attend for any cause. 

When he came out, the time already reached 1 am in the morning, He thought she would have dozed off and that will be a correct time to visit her without her knowledge. He peeped inside her ward and saw her sleeping facing her back. He was confused, But he moved towards her. But up to his surprise, She didn't sleep, Yet. She switched on the lights and half sat on the bed without anyone's help. Shivaay feet rooted at the same place. 

"You came, Doc... Why are you so late?" - Anika said when she saw him nearer to the bed. 

"Haven't slept yet..." - Shivaay managed to ask her after consoling himself. 

"I can't sleep..." - Anika said. He moved towards her. 

"Why?" - He asked her more like a whisper. 

"Because you didn't visit..." - Anika said in an instant. Her eyes welled with tears. Even though she held controlled her feelings with herself, She couldn't stop herself from showing it to him. they were pouring out. 

"How can i disturb you when you're with your fiance?" - Shivaay asked her. This time, Hearing the word fiance from his mouth, Tears escaped from her eyes. She knew the reality when she heard it from his mouth, She couldn't hold her up from breaking down. 

"Yeah, Fiance... I understand..." - She said without meeting his eyes, But the tears escaped from her eyes uncontrollably. On the other hand, Shivaay just didn't cry but he was in the same position. 

"Come with me" - He said and held her hand gently. She felt like he wiped off her pain just with his touch. She felt surreal. The tears stop emerging from her eyes. She felt like someone dragged her back to heaven when she made her mind to go to hell. His one-touch made magic in her. When he raised his another palm and wiped off her tears, She felt the moment alive when he asked the angel not to cry when she was broken because of the incident happened in the cultural. He moved towards her ear. 

"Don't cry like a baby... I know you're strong enough to win this world..." - He whispered against her ears. She felt his lips brushing in her ears which gave her immense pleasure than she could imagine. When he moved her cheek and pecked it. She closed her fist tightly as her eyes. She couldn't believe whether it was happening in her dream or reality. 

"Come"- He said and took her in his arms, Even though she can able to walk by then. She just couldn't able to believe what was happening before her. He tried. The hospital was unusually deserted and silent. But he didn't stop moving. He moved towards the entrance having her in his arms. She wrapped her hands around his neck. He held her waist tight when she placed her head nearer to his neck crook. She closed her eyes tight responding to his grip. The chill wind hit her all over her body when he moved out of the hospital and made his way through the garden which she wanted to visit in the morning. He made her sit one of the green benches and she sat comfortably leaving a very little place for him next to her as she don't want any spaces between them but he had some other idea, He sat on the left out place away from her and took her in his lap. She had no idea whether to cry or laugh as she was currently living her dream in reality. 

She had no idea what she was doing but she knew, There will no heaven better than what she was experiencing now. Surrounded by flowers, In the embrace of her favourite person in the earth, What she can ask god other than this?

"I don't want anything..."  - Anika started to whisper. 

"What?" - He asked her. 

"Everything going against my wish... Sometimes i feel like i am not a human but a robot..."- She again started. This time, Tears started to escape from her eyes and reached his chest and started to melt his frozen heart. 

"My dad's business is in a very bad state... So each and everyone, Asking me to marry Atharv so that their family can save our business from drowning... Everything is a trap, Atharv family don't know anything about it, They will definitely come to know everything about the trap one day, Probably after my marriage with him... You know what was the funny part? Even my daadi asking me to marry him... Nobody thinking about me... What will happen to me after that?" - She said without any pause. shivaay was shocked but he didn't loosen up the grip. 

"Do you want to marry him?" - Shivaay asked her after a long pause. She chuckled sarcastically for his question. 

"When i came here after ten long years, I asked my dadi about marriage... She said love is the base for every relationship. Over then, I confirmed, My Relationship with Atharv will be a baseless one. I don't know why, But i just couldn't love anyone like i..." - She stopped. 

"Like?" - He asked. 

"Like i am loving you.." - She replied with teary eyes. His grip loosened but her grip around his neck tightened. 

"I don't know what happened to me after seeing you, I never thought i will trust someone, It trashed into pieces when i saw you, I never thought i will ever love someone like this, But i do..." -  She busted off while placing her head in his neck crook. He became like a statue. But He started breaking down. But Anika couldn't feel any of that. 

"I don't know, You aren't in the position to love someone else in your life... But I don't want to say any heavy words like i won't leave you at any point in life... Likewise. But I really don't know what to say, But this one and half month is enough for me to spend rest of my life in the cage..." - She said and cried in his shoulder. His inner body started to shiver because of her words. He didn't say anything. 

"You relieved me from the pain which was killing me every day in these 10 years... Whenever i am with you, I am feeling new... I come to know how do you feel when you're alive... That's enough for me, I won't expect anything from life..." - Anika said with a smile. Shivaay didn't reply anything to him. But her words tattooing in his heart leaving him in immense pain. 

"Sometimes i feel like why i didn't die when that man threw me away from the cliff... If i died, Everything would have solved by then..." - She said. This time shivaay was shocked to learn about someone pushed her from the cliff. 

"Someone pushed you from the cliff... Why you didn't say that to anyone?" - Shivaay finally asked her. She became silent. She had no idea how it slipped from her mouth. He broke the hug in the very next second and made her sit in the bench and he stood up from his place. 

"Why didn't you tell anything to the police?" - Shivaay asked her. Anika remained silent. 

"Can you please tell me what happened exactly?" - Shivaay thundered. she started to narrate everything since she came back to the place. Shivaay was shocked. Because he knew, He's the only men in her life. She had no histories other than him in her life. But he didn't do that, Then who might have done that. By then, His name sparked in his mind. 

"Om..." - He whispered but Anika didn't hear anything. 

"What did you say?" - Anika asked him. 

"Nothing... It's getting late... Go back to your room, And i am leaving home..." - Shivaay said and left to his house without turning back. Anika felt weird more than disappointed but she was slightly happy on the other hand that she finally confessed to him about her real feelings. She had no idea why he held in her arms when he immensely in love with his angel. But she will in ready to confront everything to him along with the mystery he left telling her. How they got separated? But she took the diary and started to write the final chapter of the story after that he stopped narrating.
