It was a calm day in the town of Adventure bay.. Summer was here and the birds were chirping and the temperature was 70 degrees.. The pups were hanging out together.. Chase and Skye were a couple along with Marshall and Everest. Rubble, rocky and zuma pups were who weren't dating but they didn't care. They were all in the lookout trying to cool off... It was a good day for the pups but it was going to get crazy..

It is so warm today. I love this weather.. But I love you more, chasey.. Skye Says As she kisses him..

I couldn't agree more.. Everest says with a smile as she kisses him but deep inside she feels like their love is dying because they never talk a lot..

So.. I'm gonna take a walk alone for a bit.. Everest says as she walks away

I'm worried about everest. She has been acting like this for a week and a half.. We don't talk that much and I'm worried she doesn't love me anymore.. What should I do? Marshall asks with a concerned look on his face

Maybe you should Follow her and maybe talk to her. You have a Camera on your pup tag which you can take pictures with... you have that just in case.. Chase says.

Marshall walks away and goes past the bridge and through town..He eventually finds Everest on the pier with another up and they are laughing. Marshall hides and records them talking..

The pup who is with Everest is a brown great dane with black ears and a black nose.

Marshall is shocked.. Everest was cheating on him.. He knew he had to confront her.. He turns off his camera and goes to leave but trips and groans in pain after falling which causes Everest and Nick to run over and see Marshall get up.. Marshall looks at them with an angry look..

MARSHALL.. What Are you doing here.. Everest says in shock

Marshall responds to being kicked by clawing Nick in the abdomen which causes Nick to slash Marshall's face with his claws and bite his abdomen.. He then chokes Marshall out..

Nick stop.. This is too far.. Everest yells before she is interrupted..

SHUT UP.. HE'S SO DEAD, AND YOUR NEXT BITCH.. Nick yells as he continues to throttle marshall..

Nick throttles Marshall until flash goes by him and he is clawed in the face and the eye, blinding him temporarily.. A pup appears armed with a taser coming out of his pup pack.. Nick's vision clears and he sees who it is

PAWS IN THE FUCKING AIR BEFORE I KEEL YOU YOU MOTHERFUCKER.. the pup says.

Well if it isn't the famous chase shepherd from the paw patrol.. Run Along before you get killed as well.. Nick says with a mad but nervous tone.. He knows it's a 2v1 (technically a 1v1 because Marshall is hurt) and that chase was stronger than him but he doesn't want to go down without a fight. He has to make a point that he will defeat anyone who messes with him so he can defend his thug mentality..

We can do this the good way or the bad way.. So just surrender peacefully or else I will use force.. What will you choose? Chase asks with anger and rage in his voice..

You done fucked up buster.. You and your friend will die and you will watch me kill him after I mane you.Nick says in a dark tone..

Nick charges chase but chase sidesteps the attack.. Chase grabs Nick and slams him to the ground.. Nick claws Chase's abdomen and face which knocks Chase down causing him to drop his taser and he falls down stunned. Then Nick starts to talk..

You deserve to die, you piece of crap.. Your parents would be ashamed of you and Marshall should be too.. I wish that you never came here.. Once I'm done with you and Marshall I will kill your girlfriend.. What's Her name.. Oh yeah, it's Skye. She is such a cute girl.. Too bad I will have to kill her. Just like I did your friend johnny. Yeah I killed him.i stabbed him to death with my claws and it was fun to watch him bleed out and die. And Skye will be next. Nick says in a dark monotone voice.

Those words cause chase to snap with anger.. Chase ignores the injuries he has and starts to growl and yell out as he bites Nick's neck.. He wouldn't stop biting and starts shaking his head as he bits him and marshall and Everest shout at him to stop and then a voice appears which yells at chase stop.. The pups look and see Ryder who heard everything from Chase's pup tag. Ryder grabs Chase and separates him from nick.. Chase calms down and then runs over to marshall...

Are you ok marshall? Are you hurt.. Chase asks..

I'm fine.. I got scratched on my face and abdomen and I got a bite on my arm.. Marshall shows him his wounds.. Marshall then looks at Chase with a solemn look..

You might want to help me make sure he is ok.. Marshall says with a sad look..

I know marshall.. I'm sorry. I went too far... Chase says sadly..

You did go too far but he pushed you to that point by mentioning Skye and saying what he did.. I Know you are protective of Skye and when people do stuff like that you defend her aggressively.. You're the same way with me as well.. I get that.. I'm like that with everest.. Well I was until I found out she cheated on me.. You know now that this happened I think that I should break up with her. She ruined our relationship. Marshall says.

I can't believe chase.. My brother.. The friendliest guy around killed a pup.. .I Know he was protecting me and that the guy said what he said about Skye and that chase does defend her with all his might but I never thought he would try to kill someone.. Marshall thinks sadly as he checks the guy out..

No.. he sustained too much damage to his trachea and vocal cords and he lost too much blood. Even if he survived he would need assistance breathing and would never talk again.. His injuries are not compatible with life.. I'm going to have to pronounce him dead on arrival.. Marshall says sadly..

Chase is shocked and now frozen with fear.. He killed someone.. The guy was wrong for what he did but he knew he shouldn't have killed him and that he went too far.. He didn't know what would happen. Ryder was going to be so mad at him. He knew he messed up and that he would pay the price. But he didn't know it would be worse than just Ryder being mad at him.. Chase stands where he is as we start to hyperventilate and cry.. Marshall and Ryder notice and go over to him..

Chase breathes faster and starts to break down and cry. Marshall sees this and hugs chase and holds him tightly.. Chase eventually calm down but is still tearing up

I killed a pup.. Im a murderer.. What Have i done.. Oh god.. Chase says before gagging and throwing up on the pavement below as he looks at the body..

Police soon arrive with crime scene investigators. Soon two deputies walk up to the pups who are all here now.

He.. he said that he was going to kill marshall and kill my girlfriend skye and said he killed my old friend johnny and I got mad and I just lost it and bit him in the neck and my mind went blank until Ryder, who is my owner, got me off him. And I learned soon that I killed him.. I didn't mean for this to happen.. I got so mad that I attacked him without any regard for the law.. I'm a cop for crying out loud. Me, deputy jones and murphy the witnesses. marshall dally who is witness one said the guy attacked his girlfriend everest and him and Mr shepherd tried to defend him and the guy said he was going to kill Mr Shepherd's girlfriend and confessed he killed mr shepherd's old friend so he got enraged and attacked him and bit his neck..witness two whose name is Everest husky said the same thing and also said she was attacked by mister nicholas jones who was the victim who she was secretly seeing.. Same as Mr dally.. Our third witness, 10 year old Ryder Wilson said he heard everything from Chase's pup tag and drove over where he saw Mr Shepherd mauling Mister Jones by biting his neck which killed him.. We are doing an autopsy now and it will be done soon.. We should have enough evidence to charge him.. Deputy Smith says.

I Feel bad for him.. That bastard attacked his brother and his brother's girlfriend and threatened to kill his girlfriend after confessing to killing his old friend.. WHAT.. THis can't be happening. Chase says as he is handcuffed and taken to the Glynn County detention centre.

The pups hear about this and are shocked so.. Soon enough the arraignment happen two days later in the morning at 11:00 am

He was going to prison for 3 and a half years minimum and at max eleven years and wouldn't be out for at least 3 and a half years. They weren't sure if he would get parole..

I can't believe this.. He's gone and it's all Everest's fault.. If he hadn't gone out with Nick this incident wouldn't have happened and Chase would still be with us still. Marshall growls..

People try to call him out and even stop him but fail to stop him from leaving.. Everest is now crying and everyone is trying to comfort her..

Marshall sits there and cries.. He lost his best friend. His brother and his girlfriend cheated on him and caused it.. He was devastated. He sat there and cried. Then he eventually leaves to buy "something"and eventually goes home and sits in his pup house that night and looks at photos of chase..

Marshall then grabs 2 six packs with six, twelve ounce red colored cans with black text that say totally not beer (this is a reference to "PAW Patrol Marshall Drinkin" by superspyshak.. Check it out on deviantart.. SHAK has really good art.) on each can.. Marshall grabs the can and looks at it.. He knows this is wrong but he doesn't care.. Life is sucking for him and he is too upset to care.. We want things to be like before.. He opens the first can and drinks it.. Soon he drinks a second can, and a third can, then a fourth can and a fifth can and finally the sixth can.. After that he does the same with the 2nd six pack of beer. Soon all the cans are empty and on the floor of his pup house, after that he grabs a shot glass and pours some everclear 190 proof (95 abv) vodka from the bottle into the shot glass and drinks it. He ends up taking 3 shots and because of drinking all those beers and those three shots of vodka Marshall is very drunk. After that he grabs a joint and smokes it. He then crushes the remains. He sits there and cries and starts punching the wall in anger..

Someone knocks on the door.. The door opens and Ryder appears in the doorway.

Hey marshall are you ok i hear- ryder asks before you notice the beer cans on the ground and the shot glass and that marshall looks very drunk and reeks of alcohol

Marshall, are you drunk and high on weed? Were you drinking and smoking weed? Ryder sadly asks

She wants to fix her mistake..and chase will come back eventually.. He will get parole and we will take care of him.. Please come with me and I will watch you while you sober up.. Ryder says

Marshall walks with Ryder to the elevator and they go down to the bedroom that Ryder uses..Ryder Order lays down and brings Marshall next to him and they fall asleep..

Soon the next day comes and Ryder gets up and gets ready for the day and lets Marshall sleep in his bed.. He checks him every so often and eventually Ryder gets up at 7:30 and lets Marshall sleep.. Marshall eventually wakes up at 1:20 pm and is groaning in pain because of him having a headache, a stomach ache and he feels thirsty.. But he feels like something is wrong. His heart is racing and his breath smells fruity.. He realises that is a sign of ketoacidosis and he goes down to drink some water and tell ryder..

one and a half hour passes and the doctor comes out

You must be Ryder and the paw patrol... I'm doctor Charles kane. I am the emergency room doctor who is helping heal marshall.

How is Marshall doing Doctor kane? Ryder asks with concern.

He's doing better but he is on a ventilator.. The reason he collapsed is because he didn't collapse. He was suffering from hypokalemia or low potassium levels which caused flaccid paralysis. This causes him to become paralysed which causes us to have to put him on a ventilator. We gave him potassium to fix it. Then we found the reason he had hypokalemia. You see.. Marshall had a high presence of ketones in his body. We determined it was because of all the alcohol he drank and possibly not eating.. Binge drinking and chronic alcohol use can cause a condition known as alcoholic ketoacidosis. It's a form of ketoacidosis caused by chronic alcohol drinking or more rarely binge drinking which can happen if you don't eat. The smell on his breath was due to acetone. Acetoacetate is one of the compounds you can smell during ketoacidosis. On the other hand, most people can smell acetone, whose "sweet & fruity" odour also characterises the breath of persons in ketosis which is elevated levels of ketones in the body or ketoacidosis. Doctor Kane says.. He then continues.

Did Marshall eat anything yesterday or today? Doctor Kane asked..

No.. he last ate Monday night.. He didn't eat anything except for a small amount for breakfast Tuesday morning but it wasn't much. Ryder says

That explains it then.. The lack of food causes ketones to be made and causes elevated levels of ketones.. Anyways he will have to stay here until he is off the ventilator. Doctor kane says

One week later and Marshall is still in the hospital. The pups have been waiting for Marshall to wake up so they can bring him home. They visited Chase and told him what happened and were shocked and saddened by what happened. The pups would be in for a surprise though.

I wish Marshall was here with us.. Chase seemed really upset by what happened. He is currently at the Ware State Prison in Waycross and is doing ok. I wish all of this didn't happen. I wish Chase never left and I wish Marshall didn't almost die. If only I could turn back time. Everest says sadly.

I'm sorry to say this but we tried to do everything we could but the pulmonary edema caused hypoxia which caused him to stop breathing. We couldn't revive him because he had not had oxygen for too long and likely suffered severe brain damage. We had to pronounce him deceased. Doctor Kane says with a sad tone.

NOOO... NO NO NO NO NOOOO.... MARSHY... YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME.. DON'T DO THIS TO ME.. WE ALREADY LOST CHASE.. WE CAN'T LOSE MARSHALL TOO!! Everest cries out as she tears up..

The other pups tears up and cries.. Marshall was dead and Chase was in prison.. The team was falling apart.. How would Chase react to his brother dying?They knew Chase and Marshall were close and that chase would be completely broken.

Can we see the body?. Ryder asks.

Sure.. follow me.. doctor kane says.

The pups follow doctor kane to marshall's body which is covered by a white sheet.

Poor marshall..he didn't deserve to die like that.. Skye says sadly.

Doctor Kane removes the sheet and they look at Marshall who looks scared. He Didn't deserve to die.. He was too young. What would Chase think? How would he react?. That burned in Everest's mind. And the fact that she loved him and he died hating her made her tear up.. Evrest reaches to marshall and hugs him and cries loudly..the pups look on in sadness and tears..

However something wonderful would happen. She held onto his arm and felt something.. A pulse.. She Was Stunned.. How could it be? It was out of the ordinary. IT WAS A MIRACLE!! She gasps as he moves a bit and he is breathing.Everest then calls out to doctor kane.

He's moving and he has a pulse andis breathing.. IT'S A MIRACLE!! Everest squeals out..

Out of the way,doctor Kane as he goes over to marshall to check him. He notices marshall has a pulse and is breathing and moving slightly/

Dear god, it's a miracle he says as he looks at marshall in shock.Then and calls for doctors to take him to the ICU.

He will be in the icu for a while guys.. I don't know how much damage his brain sustained but it will be another miracle if he has no lasting damage. But you will have to go for now. Doctor kane eplains

Two and a half weeks pass and Marshall is getting better. He is awake and is off the ventilator and has no lasting damage to his brain and is ready to go home. Chase was allowed to visit marshall and marshall was happy to see that he was ok.

I'm ready for Marshall to come home.. I can't believe he is alive.. It's truly a miracle that he survived.. I hope he will forgive me eventually.. Everest says with happiness and determination

First of all i'd like to thank you for your kind works.. I know what I did was horrible and I'd like to apologise to Nick's family for what happened.you see I have had plans for what I will do when I get out. I'm going to go back to the paw patrol if they let me back in and work for them again. I will try to get everyone's respect back and do what I do best. Enforcing the law. I do have worries on if people will be hostile towards or attack or hate me for what I did but I know I have to gain respect back which i will do. Ido worry about that when the paw patrol disbands what I will do after it happens. Tme passes and soon marshall and everest have had their puppies and chase and Skye had thiers before. The town soon began to trust Chase again and after 2 years he is fully trusted. Eventually it's been 5 years and Chase was able to get off parole early and ends up getting his record expunged. He gets a passport and decides to travel to Berlin Germany with Skye and their 4 pups for a vacation in june 2025 they arrive on the 10th and will stay till the 17tth. They are currently at the Berlin wall. Chase and Skye and their pups have learned history about world war 2 and know the events after, including the cold war.

 he family we lived with lived in the suburbs of adventure city. They abandoned me two months later because they couldn't take care of me due to hard times. They couldn't get enough money and they had to abandon me in adventure city. My mom died after giving birth to me due to bleeding and my dad ran away and was presumed dead and my friend got killed by Nick who I killed. I almost died in the city if it weren't for Ryder saving me and I'm grateful he did. Chase aseh walkers over to and hugs ryder.

I know but I still feel bad. This is the first time I've killed someone since the incident. Chase says

Chase breaks down in tears. He did not want to kill someone again. He didn't want to go down the path he did before. Never in his life has he cried so hard. Marshall hugged him and comforted him as he cried.

Chase, I understand this is hard for you. I really do. I know you never wanted to kill again. I remember when you got out you vowed never to kill again. But you had to otherwise you would have died. Marshall says.

It is hard for me though, I never want to kill anyone the first time. It was hard for me having the fact that you killed someone on your conscience. It was unbearable and now I have to go to all that again. How do you expect me to feel? Chase yells in anger.

I expect you to feel hurt and sad and angry but that is how everyone feels when this kind of stuff happens. It's hard for people to go through but you can do it. You have been through so much and have done so much good stuff. And I know how much you can get. Especially after that major incident we had. Marshall says.

I know but it's just... it's been hard recently.. I wanted to go out for my birthday and try to do good stuff to strengthen our friendship but this happened. I know our relationship has mostly been fixed since the incident. Still I want to make us stronger and You know never wanting to kill anyone the first time. It is hard to have to kill. The pain is unbearable.. knowing you took a life, one you can't take back. I understand it was justified but it still hurts. Chase says.

Ok so.. Last night may 30th 2029 at 3:02 pm officer's Chase Shepherd and John Williams responded to a burglary at the Park Douglas apartment complex at 2719 W Roosevelt Rd along with other units. According to those units and officer shepherd and murphy's statements the suspect, 24 year old joshua mcmanus was breaking into an apartment at the complex. According to officer shepherd's statements he heard yelling as the guy asked for money and in response to being told she didn't have more he shot the victim who is to not be named for now. She fired 4 spots hitting her in the chest. After that officer shepherd went into the apartment and went to the bedroom while clearing the house and found the woman dead from multiple bullet wounds. Officer shepherd announced himself and told him to drop the gun and put his hands up and in response officer shepherd was shot in the vest 5 times from a gun which when recovered was determined to be a colt m1911 resulting in 3 broken ribs. In response officer shepherd fired 10 rounds from his service pistol striking and killing the suspect.. The incident is being investigated by COPA as we speak Chief johnson says

Ok... can you tell me about what happened on the afternoon of May 30 of this year. Mr. Murphy says.

I was investigating a burglary at the Park Doug apartment complex, when we arrived at the apartment we heard yelling. The guy was asking for more money and she didn't have any. After that i heard gunshots and heard the woman scream. We later found her laying down in a bloody mess and she died at the scene. I went into the apartment and stayed quiet for fear that he would hear us. We wanted to have the element of surprise. When we found him in the bedroom of the apartment we saw the deceased homeowner and then the suspect with a loaded Colt M1911 pistol. I announced that i was a police officer and gave him commands to drop the gun and put his hands up, in response he turned to me and shot me in the vest five times resulting in me breaking 3 ribs. I fell to the ground and I feared that he was going to show me again so in response I shot him 10 times with my service weapon. Chase says.

She keeps stabbing him with bloodlust in her eyes and body and after 5 stabs she stops. they kick Marshall as he cries and starts to bleed.. His chest hurts from the stab wounds and he is emotionally damaged from the events.. He lays there as this person grabs him and throws him outside and drops him on the grass and talks again

Marshall cries as he lays down and bleeds and reflects on life..

The cops use a breaching pole to break open the door.. They search that house and find him in the bedroom armed with a knife..

Police Department. Drop the knife and show me your hands.. A cop says..

Stay back or you will die.. Marcus says.

NO. ILL KIL YOU FUCKERS. Three guys as he starts to charge but chase who is one step ahead jumps at Marcus and bits his arm.. He makes him drop the knife and doesn't let go..

The swat team does up and with ar-15's trained on Marcus's body cuff him and chase away from him.

That was some good work chase.. If you didn't do what you did we would've had to shoot and kill him.. The swat guy says

It's no problem.. I would never want someone dead. Chase says.

Chase comes out with the swat team and marcus.. Marcus is put in a car and driven off.. Chase and Marshall drive home with Ryder and at the lookout they hang out in the lobby..

So I see it went well.. Ryder says..

Yeah. The guy had a knife and before he could charge I bit his arm and subdue him. They say if I didn't he would have been shot.. So I did a good thing.. Chase says proudly.

Chase's kids got married and gave kids and kept their father's memory alive.
