Chapter 23 - Disappointed

Mum began to cry too, "how could you? You broke the biggest rule we have!"

"I didn't mean to, mum," I began to hug Calum. He grabbed ahold of my waist and pulled me closer, embracing me in a hug that I desperately needed.

"Aurora, I am completely disappointed in you," my dad shook his head at me.

"You aren't gonna kick me out?" I cried.

"We're going to help you. We're just disappointed, that's all," Mum assured me.

"You're not going to ground me, are you?"

"Then you wouldn't be able to see the father of the baby, would you? We'd never do that," I smiled at dad.

"Well, you might want to tell the other grandparents," mum looked at Calum and me and smiled.

"We should, shouldn't we?" Calum looked down at me with my head nuzzled in his chest. I nodded.

We left for Calum's house a while later and arrived soon after we left. He yelled into the house, "I'm home!!", making Joy, David, and Mali all come to see him.

"Calum!" They all smiled and group-hugged him.

"What are you doing home early?" Joy asked.

"Well, Eleanor called me, saying Aurora needed me and that she was going to the hospital," Calum began to explain.

They gasped. David looked at me, "are you okay, sweetie?"

"I'm fine now."

"What happened that you had to go to the hospital?" Mali asked.

"I was at Eleanor's, and I started to bleed, like my period, but I'm not exactly supposed to.." I bit my lip. It's a force of habit.

"You're not pregnant.. Are you?" Mali looked at me.

I sighed, looking at Calum, "I am.." I paused, "Surprise?"

Their heads fell. David looked back up at Calum, "you know you weren't supposed to."

"I know," Calum breathed, "I'm sorry."

"Cal, we're just disappointed in you, that's all," Joy told Calum, just like my mum told me.

"Another thing is.. I'm twelve weeks," I fake-smiled at them, as if to tell them "surprise" again.

"And how long have you known?"

"The day before Calum left," I answered, fiddling with my own fingers.

"You haven't told us for that long?" Joy gasped.

"Mum, I just found out today," Calum told her.

"I wanted to wait until I told Calum to tell anyone else."

"You told Eleanor before me, though, didn't you?" Cal looked at me.

"I did, but I told her the day you left, at the airport. I couldn't keep it to myself."

"Why didn't you tell me, though?" He grabbed my hands.

"I didn't want to worry you. I didn't want you thinking about me being pregnant during the whole tour," I frowned.

"Okay. I forgive you," he kissed the top of my forehead.

"Good," I wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging him.

"You two are so cute together," Mali smiled.

"Thanks," Calum looked down at me. He was nine or ten inches taller than me, which sometimes was good and sometimes bad. I loved cuddling with him since he's a lot bigger than me.

"Do you know how much I love you?" Calum asked, looking at me.

"How much?"

"So much that it's not even possible," he kissed my forehead.
