At lunch, I sat with Eleanor. I told her about Adam. When I brought him up, she rolled her eyes, and so did I.

"He thought I was on my period. He even asked me if I was."

"Why would he do that? I guess he is an ass."

"He told me that he heard Calum had left for he tour. He must've thought he could get with me because Calum was away. I told him that I heard he was gonna get his dick chopped off if he didn't leave me alone."

"I would pay to see his reaction.." She laughed.

"I just told him that yesterday and today have not been my best days. And when I told him I didn't want to talk about Calum, he wondered if we had broken up."

"He just wants to get back with you. Keep telling him no."

"You know I will."

Adam came over to us a few minutes later. He smiled at me and sat beside me. I glared at him as he began to talk to me.

"I'm sorry about earlier.." He apologized.

"Yeah, right."

"I really am. But, Calum's away, and I think we could hook up sometime?"

"Why would we?"

"I want to get back together with you."

"Just because Calum's away doesn't mean we're broken up. And I broke up with you, so I'm not getting back together with you."

"At least I didn't leave you to go on tour and be away for months," he told me. I was about to punch him.

"I'm gonna go.. I'll talk to you later, Aurora," Eleanor left.

"I will punch you if you don't stop."

"What happened to cutting off my dick? You're gonna do both?"

"I will do both if you don't fuck off.."

"I'd like to see you try."

"I would just cut your dick off now, but we're in school. Even though all of the girls here have seen it already, I'm not sure the guys would appreciate that."

"Not all of the girls.."

"Sorry. All but one."

"Okay, that's offensive."

"It was meant to be offensive."

"Since when did you get a sassy side to you."

"Whenever you began to piss me off, and especially since I-" I cut myself off. I was about to say I'm pregnant. I changed it to, "I hate you."

"What happened to you loving me and me loving you?"

"You never loved me. I never loved you. You just wanted to fuck me, and you got your wish. That's not happening again. You're an asshole."

"A hot asshole, though."

I laughed, "in your dreams."

"Just please, Aurora.."

"No. I love Calum, and that's all I'm ever gonna do. I'm never gonna love you, no matter how much you wish and pray."

"What if something bad happened to Calum?"

I punched him this time, and then while beginning to cry, I told him, "never say that about my Calum."

A teacher came rushing over to us, "Adam! Aurora! Come with me, now!"

She was pissed at me. I punched Adam, and she was mad at me. She was going to ask what happened. What should I tell her? "Adam was trying to get in my pants just because my boyfriend was away, and he was talking about hurting Calum, so I punched him"? That wouldn't work.

She took us into the principal's office. We were going to talk to the principal about what happened.

"So, Aurora, why did you punch Adam in the lunchroom?" Mr. Jefferson asked.

"Well, in my defense, he was trying to get with me just because my boyfriend is away," I began to tell him.

"Calum, correct?"

"Correct. It got to be so far that he said, 'what if something bad would happen to Calum?' And smirked. He was implying that he would hurt Calum if I didn't get with him," I continued.

"Jefferson, I-" Adam was cut off by Mr. Jefferson.

"It's Mr. Jefferson, Adam."

Adam rolled his eyes, "Mr. Jefferson, I swear that's not how it went."

I looked at Adam like he had two heads. Mr. Jefferson then asked, "well how did it go, then?"

"When I said, 'what if something bad were to happen?', I was obviously sympathizing. I was asking that if Calum would get hurt or possibly die-" I cut him off.

"Never say that again," I warned him, clenching my teeth together.

"Adam, you still should not say that. And Aurora, you still should not punch him for saying that," Mr. Jefferson concluded, "I am giving you both detention after school today."

"What?" I asked.

"You heard me, Miss Starr. You have detention."

"I- I can't make it today. I have important plans after school. Things I can't miss," I told him. I had scheduled an appointment for a scan.

"Like what plans?"

"I have a doctor's appointment. I'll have to pay to reschedule this late."

"I'm sorry, Miss Starr. You should've thought of that before you punched Mr. Parker. You may both go now."

I was so mad at myself. Why did I punch him? Stupid hormones making me mad. I didn't like this at all.
