Eagles

We made our way through the caves. For an army of goblins had come after us. Fili took my hand in his, and we ran together, following the other dwarves.

Soon enough we came out to a forest, we followed the others down the steep terrain and then collapsed against a tree.

I leaned up against Fili, and placed a soft kiss on his lips. He responded with a more aggressive, and dominating kiss.

"Thank the heavens you are alive." I whispered, as my forehead rested against his.

"I should be saying that." He replied, his eyes filled with such passion. I came to realization that Thorin was going on about how Bilbo probably ditched us while he could.

And I was not dealing with that crap.

"IF YOU THINK THAT BILBO BAGGINS JUST WALKED OUT ON US THEN YOU HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING!!!!! BILBO WOULD NEVER LEAVE YOU, HE IS THE MOST CARING HOBBIT IN EXISTENCE AND HE WOULDN'T WALK OUT UNLESS HE WAS FORCED TO, I KNOW HE TURNED DOWN THE OFFER AT FIRST, BUT HE CAME RUNNING JUST A BIT AFTER AND I KNOW HE WOULD NOT LEAVE YIU NOW SO STOP DROWNING IN YOUR LACK OF FAITH!!!!!" I screamed.

"WHERE IS HE THEN?!?!!? WHERE IS GOOD OLD BILBO NOW?!!?!?" Thorin yelled back.

"Right here." Bilbo said, stepping out from behind a tree.

We all cheered, except for Thorin, who asked Bilbo how he got through the mountain.

"What does it matter?" Gandalf asked, but Thorin was insistent on knowing how. "OH MY GOD JUST LEAVE OFF THE POOR HOBBIT ALREADY!!!" I screamed, tired of his bullcrap.

Thorin seemed too shocked at my sass to contradict me. It was all peaceful finally and then some goddamn Wargs came. And with Wargs comes Orcs.

Gandalf told us to climb into the trees, Fili, Kili and I climbed up one, as the others climbed up the ones near us.

Bilbo was trying to get his sword out of a Warg's head. Finally he did so, just as the Orcs came, Bilbo hurriedly climbed into our tree.

Azog the Defiler. Ugh. Could this day get any worse? He spoke to Thorin in the black language that they speak, what he said seemed to piss Thorin off.

Azog then sent the Wargs after us, the Wargs jumped at the trees, almost knocking us down, but they couldn't.

I thought we were pretty safe... until the tree started to fall. Fili, Kili, Bilbo, and I jumped to the next tree, and the next one, as all the trees fell as the other hit them.

We all landed in the last tree. It was on the edge of a cliff. I knew soon enough it would fall, so I climbed up to Fili.

"If we die..."

"Don't say that."

"If we die, I want you to know that I love you Primlon."

"I love you too Fili."

Suddenly I heard my name called, Bilbo threw a flaming pinecone down to me, I looked out and realized that the ground around the tree was on fire.

Fili grabbed a nearby pinecone and we put them together, then we threw them at the Wargs.

The company cheered, but our small victory was short-lived, the tree started to fall, suddenly stopping at a horizontal position.

The roots were threatening to let go at any minute.

I looked behind me to see Ori, holding onto Dori, who was holding onto Gandalf's staff, which was holding them from falling to their deaths.

I then moved my eyes to the front of the tree, to see Thorin standing up. "Oh what is he doing?"

I felt Fili's arms around me. "I'm so scared." I whispered.

"Me too."

I nestled my head in the crook of his neck, as Thorin walked past the flames, to face his greatest enemy.

As Azog charged at Thorin on his Warg, I hid my face in Fili's chest, not wanting to know what was going on.

He held me close, and kissed my head. The kiss sent tingles through my body, but they didn't fade.

I felt fire burn in my soul, I felt power grow inside of me. Why die in shame, when you can die with dignity.

I kissed Fili and stood up, only to see a Warg advancing on Bilbo, and Thorin lying, unconscious on the ground. I ran out, grabbing a sword from a dead Orc on the way.

I hacked the Wargs that ran at me, I slayed the Orcs on top of them, and soon after Kili, and Fili joined me.

We then heard the call of an eagle. Large talons came out of the sky, grabbing the nearest Warg, and throwing it off the side of the cliff.

I felt claws gently wrap around me, and I was lifted away from the ground, I closed my eyes in fear, and felt myself falling.

Only to land on the back of a large eagle, and to be carried a long way to the top of a tall rock.

I slid off the eagle's back and ran to Thorin's limp body. Gandalf knelt beside me, and ran his hand down Thorin's face, Thorin suddenly gasped, and I sighed.

I walked over to Fili, and just melted into his arms, breathing in his relaxing scent.

"I love you more then life itself." He whispered.

"I love you too." I replied.

"The Halfling." Thorin spoke.

"It's alright, Bilbo is here, and quite safe." Gandalf replied.

Thorin got up and glared at Bilbo angrily.

"You!! What were you doing?! You nearly got yourself killed!! Did I not say you would be a burden?! That you would not survive in the wild, an you had no place amongst us?!"

He moved closer to Bilbo.

"I have never been so wrong." He suddenly embraced Bilbo and Bilbo looked quite shocked. We all cheered.

"But, I'm sorry I doubted you." he said into Bilbo's shoulder.

"No, I...I would have doubted me too. I'm not a hero, nor a warrior. Not even a burglar." Bilbo replied.

"Hey isn't that..." I said, the lonely mountain was in the distance.

"Yes!!" Fili said excitedly. He kissed me in his excitement.

"Oi, get a room you two." Kili interrupted as we started to make out.

I blushed as Fili put his arm around my waist, and we started off on our adventure to the lonely mountain.
