Lapis eyed the others as they headed out to patrol. Ever since Sage was freed, he was acting weird. He even hissed at Scarlet, which was weird.

It was concerning to others, but they gave him space as it was better than nothing.

That did seem to be good as everytime they left him alone, he would almost hum gentle tunes.

The only person he wouldn't let leave him alone was Sage. Everytime the Base Leader approached, he latched onto his arm. It took a while to get him to let go before he could do anything else.
