3 / 3 = HEARTACHING OBSESSION
Blue meeting (Eye Color).
They shouldn't have seen each other like this.
He thought she'd look glad about the state her former bully was in, but instead, she looked too horrified. And that look was for him. At him, and he didn't like it.
She isn't supposed to look at him in fear.
(Name) was supposed to smile and thank him for what he did.
She was supposed to run into his welcoming arms and embrace him with gratefulness.
He was protecting her. So why couldn't she see it that way?
"What the fuck is wrong with you!?" Exclaimed the girl as she approached him slowly, being cautious of her own actions at the moment. She was scared that, in one wrong move, Adyn could be leaving without his head with her loosing hers in the process. She was running from the intense fear from the sight and anger from Killua's rowdy actions. Her (Eye Color) spheres were asking a thousand questions and yet she was mortified to even ask - more or less talk to him.
The white-haired male was perplexed by everything right now. Was she angry at him? He can even see how she isn't taking brave strides towards him. They were cautious and on high alert. Did she not trust him anymore than she already used to? Her eyes scanned him warily and then the guy below him. Was she worried about Adyn? The man who tried to ruin her life. Yet, she's trying to help him.
Shaking his thoughts off, he glowered at her, "what do you mean!? I was trying to help you!" She looked taken back before snapping, "how is beating someone to a bloody pulp helping me!? How is this," she motioned to the scene, "trying to help me!?" (Name) couldn't register what was happening either. She was confused, too. Was this what Killua planned during the whole day of his own little 'disappearance'?
"You wouldn't know what I heard," he muttered lowly, cold words nipping at her skin quite harshly. "He was planning something dangerous for you. I needed to give him something to remember. To protect what's mine. Protecting the one I love. Is that really so wrong?" Her ears perked at each phrase that slowly brought her confusion to a close.
The look on his face, a lovestruck one plastered on his pale features. It only made sense, yet it seemed like something so ridiculous that she hadn't expected her own friend to do something this horrible. And the answer to that question of his, if these were under normal circumstances, she would've just gave a 'hell no' and been on her way out. If it weren't for the fact that there's the man who dared to try putting her down.
But still, that's the reason? Because he loves her? This is going beyond love... she knitted her brows together, uncertain at the sudden feelings brought against her. He loves me, but what am I suppose to say? "Killua, taking it too far... this is too much. Understand that you don't need to do things for me." Can my words even reach his ears from his insanity right now? Even with how much they acted, he was still her friend nonetheless. Psycho or not.
His lips curled up from how she was dropping her guard. He was thankful that she didn't look like she'll be held at gunpoint because of him. The look of fear didn't suit her, it never did. The tension in her body gradually faded. "(Nickname), I cared about you. Even after everything I did, I wasn't sure with this fuzzy feeling that always came with you around until you confirmed it," he smiled. "After your confession, I knew... I was in love. You made me love you! And seeing you hurt and sad, I should've done something sooner if I knew..." his hands balled up into fists.
Confession? Generally confused, she questioned further, "confession? I don't-"
"-you like me," he spoke for her, "that's what you told me. You were the one who made me feel loved." His smile grew even more with a blush dusting his cheeks that turned from a rosy pink to a red scarlet. She couldn't help but wonder if that really was love. The idea scared her out of her own body. A dangerous, lovesick assassin that would kill for her and only her. This is wrong! It's like he wants me to manipulate him! Her eyes dilated greatly.
"Killua," She started but she didn't know what to say next. Her mouth gaped like a goldfish, non-existent words leaving her lips and into the wind. He watched with patient eyes that began to grow a bit concern. Was this my fault? She thought grimly, pursing her lips. "Look, I should've specified what I meant at the time. I only liked you as a friend and... not something beyond that..." she shut her (Eye Color) eyes in order to not see the reaction she got.
Angry? Heartbroken? Insane? Even more deranged? She didn't want to see it and cause the boy below him to suffer more than he should've. She hated him, really. But to the point where he's near death? No way.
What crept her was the bone-chilling chuckle she received. "It's fine," he nonchalantly shrugged, "because as long as you don't love someone else, it's fine." It wasn't until he moved from his spot that she felt frozen on hers. He finally closed the distance between them with a 'loving' hug, entrapping her in his arms as he nuzzle into the crook of her neck. Her scent made him loose his mind for a second and she could feel the corner of his lips growing along with her soft uneven breathings. It didn't help how the blood that clung to him began seeping into hers too.
Much to her relief, he pulled away and brought both of her hands together with his, electrifying blue eyes gleaming hopefulness. "If I kill him, he wouldn't bother us anymore and you wouldn't need to stress over things like this ever again! You're the only person I need and I'm willing to wait until you love me back!"
She reacted immediately by ripping herself from his hold, leaving him dumbfound by her actions. "No, I won't." Her words were cold, hiding the guilt-filled eyes under her locks of (Hair Color) hair.
She took the time to pass him and kneel down to the now unconscious male's body before lifting him up. She didn't mind the fact that he peered over his shoulder and stared even more shock. He couldn't believe the sight, arms falling to his sides as he watched the (Hair Color)-nette swung his arm over her shoulder and drag him back out. He was still trying to process her reason for doing this. He needed to know.
(Name) hated him, right? She wanted him out of her life and he was helping her, right?
But what she's doing... wasn't making any sense to him... Not at all.
"I told you already. I won't fall in love and I find it stupid," she harshly reminded, "and after what you just did... I'm... I'm not sure of how I feel about you right now..." From under her bangs, she could see the disheartened look in his eyes while he began trembling. Hands clenching and unclenching with small sparks leaving his hands.
"(Na-)... (Name)..." He didn't know what's happening. One moment she was calm and now she acted as if he was someone she hated for all her life. Pain flashed through his eyes from the rapid beating of his heart against his rib cage.
"Killua..." she breathed out, "I think we should stop seeing each other for a while... or possibly longer than that until you calm down." His pupils shrunk from the idea she had. Stop seeing each other? As in, not interacting with her? Not hearing her sweet voice that would be directed to him? Her eyes no longer falling on his figure?
He looked terrified. Something the (Hair Color)-haired girl noted as she spun on her heels and dragged the body leaning on hers for support out of the alleyway. "No..." she stopped in her tracks and threw the boy a solemn glance once she heard his shattered voice. "You're protecting him after everything he did to you? I was trying to help!" He ground his upper and lower pearly white teeth together. "You can't let that happen! I don't want that to happen!"
He's acting like a brat, and not the same kind I once knew... She knew she would regret these words that would break him vigorously but it was the only way she could bring his common sense back.
"You're beginning to act like a spoil brat..." I don't mean to hurt you, Killua. "We need to be apart because of that attitude of yours..." But you're taking this too far and I don't want you to get hurt for the consequences... "So listen to what I'm saying," she brought her eyes to glare at him. Each word ripped from her tongue almost sent him into a panicked frenzy.
"Try another stunt like this," (Name) spat with forced out anger and fear, "and let's see if you're still fine once I'm out of your life for good."

"Try another stunt like this and let's see if you're still fine once I'm out of your life for good."
Those words rang through his ears like a broken record player on repeat. Playing a terrible song which brought an awful taste in his mouth and a horrible feeling in his stomach. His contracted electric blue pupils stayed glued to his hands, unable to look away. Grasping what was supposed to be his supposed-to-be-girlfriend in his hands, except she wasn't there.
I'm out of your life for good.
Her words were genuine, something he never wished to hear but they stuck to him like a prey on a spider's web. His hands stopped motionlessly, easing them for a minute as they rested on his lap.
Out of your life for good.
Even the conversation of his own brother began smothering him after the incident.
"Kil," Illumi began with those horrid emotionless orbs of his, reflecting the scowl on his younger brother's face. "She's beginning to distract you from your goals. If she was a mere rival of yours, then I would let you kill her or at least let her know not to challenge you. But the way you look at her, speak to her, act around her now... it's not doing any good for you." He shook his head with a distressed sigh, 'disappointment' written all over his blank face.
His blue hues pierced invisible blades into that stubborn skull of his. He couldn't help but growl, "big brother, what are you saying?" His patience was growing slim. If he was just going to talk about his (Name) like that, then he should've just ignored him. But alas, it was impossible and he would've spoken without is compliance.
"Got your attention, I see? What made you fall for this enchantress?"
Killua clenched his hands at both sides, reeling a light scowl from his face. If it was Gon, he could've talked nonstop about what he loved about her. From the way her eyes brightened at things that comes along her way to how her voice was like a blessing to his ears. From how kind and caring she is - despite the short-temperedness - to the amazing smile he wished to have for himself.
The ravenette stared at his hopeless, lovestruck brother, "so you're in love with her?" His statements have never been able to let him snap his neck at him that quickly before. Not until now at least. "That really is a problem..." the snow-haired male began to grow an irk mark, veins slowly popping from their places. If he doesn't stop speaking... he couldn't do anything just yet. Right now, he has no chance of beating his brother.
"But what happens if... she doesn't reciprocate those feelings of yours Kil?" The question made his brother as stiff as a rock. No... (Name) has to. She needs to. Yes, he didn't mind that she might not return those feelings, but she confessed! She said so herself and he could remember it as clear as that smile of hers. "Shut up!" He yelled, amusing the older male.
"Nice try Illumi," he seethed, "you can't manipulate me anymore. Never again would you and ever." His posture built up with confidence as he glared into those soulless-appearing orbs of his.
Illumi stared down at the younger male for quite some time, making sweat drip from his face. What is he thi- "are you sure she really meant those words, Kil? She might've meant it as something else." The harsh reality began draining all of Killua's ideals down the rabbit hole. His vision of whatever he saw with (Name) lost and no longer in his reach. The fact that his brother thought of it was... was... right... "She's manipulating you, Kil."
No! He hissed, "you're wrong! You're just stopping her from becoming mine!" He tensed at his own words. Why am I getting worked over something childish like that? What would Illumi do to her? Panic flooded through his system of thinking before being stunned by the older male's words. "So that's what making you worried?"
No reply was given, which meant he could continue, "but what would happen I say that there are people after her? If you aren't sure that she really meant those words the way you saw it as, then maybe she might leave you for someone else and you'll never see her ever again.
"She'll no longer be yours if that happens, now will she, Kil?"
Those words brought nightmares to a whole 'nother level. The thought of her not being with him was like poison, except he could never be immune to that kind.
Of course. He was the spider, unwanted and taught to not feel love or hate. Something he was told he was incapable of. But her? She wasn't a normal prey, a fly for an example. She was a butterfly with beautiful colors that spread from it's wings. She was the beauty in life that made the spider feel things he shouldn't have felt. And now, he needed her as his moral support. Someone that made him have a purpose of his own free will.
He was a spider and he'd get her trap in his web. But instead of killing her, she'll forever be stuck on his web with him. Everything about her was what made Killua who he is now. Her entire being plagued his thoughts like a swarm of flies that could never leave. She was the essence of purity. His essence of happiness.
After all, (Name) became his only source of happiness ever since they met. If she left him, he would rather die than stay on a world where (Name) would never become his. But he would never die, because she will be his. She has to.
She has no choice.
It was no longer hers to make.

I think I was too harsh on him this time... Frowning, (Name) rested her cheek against her palm as she gazed at the night's sun and it's followers in contemplation. Guilt ate away at her heart whenever the scene of her glowering those harsh words out of the strong sensation of fear that relished over her without mercy. She didn't even meant for those words to leave as if she was set on autopilot.
2 months. 2 straight months since she has spoken to the boy ever since then. She wanted to apologize for her actions and speak to him again, but she knew what she had to do. It would just seem so foolish to pretend everything he did had a perfect reason and that she should shrug it off and forgive him. No, she has to take responsibility for that. What's worse was that the feeling of being watched never helped.
All she had to speak with were Gon, Biscuit, and Zushi but it was never enough to shrug the burning feeling behind her. Doing the simplest of things would still make her feel that uncomfortable feeling. Enough of herself.
Because of her, Adyn's left in the hospital with severe injuries. All because of her. She was even forced to check on Adyn everyday out of her own guilt and worry - with a few insults spat at her here and there. But thinking back, maybe she was being too harsh on him-
She shook her thoughts away. "No," she disagreed, "he was taking it too far..." However, a phrase ran passed her and made her sigh in realization. Her frown never left as she tore her attention from the sky to her room. "Who am I kidding? He deserved some of it. He was gonna kill him for goodness sake...!" She exaggerated.
Folding her arms against the window sill, her eyes traveled back to her desk with the incomplete assignments. Books either stacked or flipped open to a certain page and sheets of paper scattered about. Her little night light illuminating the dark area of the room with it's beauteous color.
Despite this, her attention fell almost immediately on the small white envelope placed next to the lamp. That wasn't there before... Curiosity pushed her off her bed and urged her to take a peek at the letter. She picked it from the desk and analyzed every single area of the sender's name, but alas none was found. Almost like the sender didn't want her to know in the first place.
The thought stiffened her. Why did they give me this letter?
She just wanted to rip the letter into nothing or just burn it. Maybe even do the simplest way by tossing it into the trash can. But she couldn't. There was this force telling her that she must read the letter and that it held some sort of information she should know. It wasn't until her fingers flipped the envelope open that she realized that she couldn't just place it back down near her miniature lamp again.
Now or never, I guess. She took the neatly folded letter from inside the envelope, setting it back on her desk, and opened it with wonderful writings inside. To (Name), it felt a bit force, kinda like they wanted to impress her in that sort of way.
Her (Eye Color) hues silently read the contents of the letter, "dear (Name), I'm glad you didn't think of throwing this letter away. There would've been consequences if you did try and do that." Her (Skin Color) hands trembled from how keen whoever was writing this. Were they watching me now and wondering if I was actually going to do that? Her breath hitched from the horrifying thought, checking every nook and cranny of her room in assurance that someone wasn't in the room with her before continuing.
"Anyways, I've always been worrying about you ever since the incident with that bully of yours, even before that. It took me some time to find out that I was in love with you. I was taught that it was wrong, but you changed that idea. Your entire being changed that idea. And because of that, I was able to feel like I had more purpose in life than what was given to me. If I would, I would sweep you off your feet right now and take you away forever," her words were beginning to sound like simple breathing, "but then you wouldn't love me. You would never talk to me in a way my heart would burn from. Look at me the way that made me wanna hold you tight. It wouldn't feel the same now would it?
"That is why I'm asking need you to meet me back at the same place we last saw each other tomorrow. The last place where we talked with each other right after school. ~ K. Z." Her grip gently crumpled the part of the letter she was holding. The fact that she knew who it was from the last statement and the first two initials of the name couldn't be as much obvious as it was.
She wasn't interested in a relationship at the moment and wanted to tear it into shreds, but the Nen forced into this love confession felt threatening. Like if she'd destroy the letter, she might risk someone's life.
What the hell... I'm not liking this sick joke... Not at all... This is going too far...
Gritting her teeth softly and letting out a chilling groan, she opened the desk's drawer before slipping the letter in, shutting it without any second to spare. Never in her life has she ever been terrified of a single threatening, yet thoughtful paper incased in another folded one.
She wanted to tell someone. Honestly, she really did. But troubling others with her personal problems isn't something she's keen on doing, plus she isn't even fully assured that she was alone right now. Did they know what she's planning to do? Was that why they were silently drinking in her terrified form out of their own pleasure?
Is it bad that she knew who the letter was from just from the tone and feelings input into those words?
Now that I know who this is... I have to... Regret was gradually raining down on her with the amount of curiosity and resolved determination of the boy. "This isn't for me. This is for everyone."
If only she never utter those words aloud, that the face cloaked in darkness wouldn't shone a grin.

"Killua!"
Her voice echoed with made her quirk her brows together. It's been at least an hour and I got no reply whatsoever. She watched how children would run around or how people would bargain with others to sell the necessities they have. Some were cons while some were true. Hidden artifacts that could hold countless of riches and they're too oblivious to know about it.
Thankfully Biscuit taught her how to improve her Gyo and now she could activate it without forcing herself too. Her eyes scooped up little bits of details around her. I need to get this over with... If I don't, how would I confront about this to him ever again?
(Eye Color) eyes caught a figure agilely dancing in the shrouded blackness of the alleyway. They were quick and stealthy, making their outlined figure visible for me on purpose. It's now or never, she put up a confident front and chased the silhouette into the dark alley.
If only she knew what kind of cat and mouse game she ran into, she would've known the possibilities of escaping this. But nonetheless, she followed the shadowed figure and the horrible odor was familiarized by her. I forgot about the blood left here at the time. Her nose scrunched and wrinkled her eyebrows together. It was useless thinking how the metallic smell would just disappear out of sight and scent.
However, as she got closer, she would often feel her shoes splashing onto the puddles of liquid, making her hold a look of disgust. Gross. Once she was at the dead end of the alley, (Hair Color) locks swaying furiously, she could smell the metallic odor even more stronger than ever that her head felt like it was in a haze. How could she not remember to bring a flashlight at the moment?
Strangely, a blessing and a curse arrived to her rescue and despair.
Fabricated light came from above her which relieved herself from the shuddering darkness. But what unfolded in front of her was a sight she could never erase from her mind ever again. A scream erupted from her lips as she stared down at the liquid she had mistaken with. Blood.
All the color from her (Skin Color) complexion melted away into a ghost white, almost dead like from the sight.
Adyn... but he was at the hospital this morning... I saw him at the hospital this morning.
The scene could only be described as gruesome, gory, and torturous. Nothing told her about how painless it was and it was evidence that she was at fault to blame. If only she could run before the feeling of arms around her body from behind, pulling her closed for a tendered, loving embrace, then maybe she could've told someone.
"He ruined everything between us, (Name)..." Killua muttered coldly, "he deserved what was coming."
