Normal POV

Marinette took a deep breath. "I can do it, I can do it..." She looked around the corner to where Adrien was, chatting with Nino. She started hyperventilating, covering her face with her hands. "I can't do it, I can't do it!" She cried out hysterically, her stomach churning.

"Girl, calm down. You'll be fine!" Alya smiled, hugging Marinette, before shoving her away. "Go!" She stumbled, falling over.
"Alya!"

She just smiled, pulling her up. "Now go, before I shove you harder!" Marinette pouted, turning and starting to head towards Adrien. At that moment, Chloe burst into the area, prancing over to Adrien.

"Oh, Adrikens!" She pushed Nino away, wrapping her arms around Adrien's neck. Adrien coughed, starting to push her away, but before he could, she kissed him. Marinette quickly veered away, not seeing how much shock and slight disgust was displayed Adrien's face. She started to run away as Adrien pushed away Chloe, disgusted at her. Alya saw the whole thing and covered her mouth with her hands, considering going after Marinette.

Marinette burst into her house, barging past her parents and storming up into her room. She collapsed on her head, bursting into tears.
"I hate that girl! How could I have ever thought that Adrien would love me?"

Tikki flew out from her bag, nuzzling her cheek.
"Marinette, calm down! I'm sure Adrien didn't want-"

Marinette pushed Tikki away, and she backed off, eyes wide.
"I-I'm s-sorry Tikki, but I just d-don't want to t-talk right now!" She started sobbing again. Tikki looked down miserably.

"Ah, a broken heart. Heartache and hatred burn, and together, they can be deadly." Hawkmoth chuckled darkly, leaning on his staff as the hatch to his lair spiralled open. He held out his palm, letting a bright white butterfly land in it. He covered it with his hand, and it turned a dark purple. He set it free, laughing cruelly as it flew out of his lair. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilise this heartsick girl!"

Tikki opened her mouth to speak, and her eyes widened as she saw a dark butterfly enter from the window.
"Marinette!" She let out a squeal, charging forwards. But it was too late. The butterfly disappeared into her miraculous, and she sat up, a purple outline of a butterfly surrounding her face. Tikki backed away, eyes wide and tiny hands covering her mouth.

"Hmm, Ladybug is it? Finally found you. My name is Hawkmoth, and you can have your revenge. You will have the power to destroy anyone in your path. In return, you must bring me Chat Noir's miraculous"

"Marinette, no!" Tikki squeaked. "Fight it!"
Marinette ignored her, standing up. "You can count on me, Hawkmoth. Tikki, spots on!" Tikki squealed as she got sucked into her now dark purple miraculous. She transformed, her superhero suit now very much like Antibug's. She cackled, kicking the wall. It shattered like glass, and she leapt outside, swinging through Paris. First stop; Chloe Bourgeois's house.
