I suddenly burst into tears again and nick looked worried

"Char what's wrong?" He said

I couldn't say anything through my tears

"You ruined everything" I said eventually

"What?! I thought you wanted to marry me!?"

"I do!! But I had a whole plan and everything!"

"Huh? Wait char you were going to propose?"

"Yeah. In like an hour!"

"Hah"

"What. I'm crying my eyes out over here and you're laughing?"

"Yes. You kissed me first and initiated the first time we...yk had sex so this is my turn to do something first!"

"Ugh I hate you"

"If it makes you feel better I can pretend to be surprised when you propose later?"

"Ugh there's no point. My plan was so romantic!"

"Tell me"

"After we had dinner I was going to blindfold you and drive to the milkshake cafe. Remember the triple date before the concert? So yeah anyway then I was going to get chocolate milkshakes for us because they are clearly superior and put the ring in yours so once you finished it you found the ring... maybe that was weird."

"Aww char that's so sweet. I just beat you to it"

His phone buzzes, when he turns to grab it from the desk I take the opportunity to pull the ring box out of my pocket and kneel.

"Nicholas Luke Nelson. Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"

He spins around and sees me kneeling then immediately bursts into tears

"Oh my god char you're so cute"

"So...?"

"YES YES OF COURSE YES"

I slip the ring on his finger and gently kiss him. 

"So...dinner?" Nick pulls away to ask

"Fine. let's go"

A/N I wasn't really happy with how it turned out but anyway hope you enjoyed it. Kinda just a filler chapter while I'm working on the next one shot
