Jimin's POV

2 years later.

"Ahhh, ouch." I whined, eyeing over to the corner of the cafeteria where a guard stood.

Hearing my wails as I sat beside Taehyung at a table, the guard came slowly over, slightly concerned.

"Is everything alright?" The guard's deep voice asked from beside me.

"No, there is something on my hand, look at that." I complained while lifting my hand up to the guard.

He leaned down a bit before responding, "I don't see anything." He hummed.

I could hear Taehyung chuckling lightly as my other hand swiftly grabbed Jungkook's chocolate mousse dessert, which was opposite where I sat at the table.

Before the guard could move his face back, I slammed the chocolate mousse into the guard's face making him yelp.

The entire room burst into laughter seeing the guard covered in chocolate mousse.

"You're right, there's nothing there, only you have something on your face." I amusingly commented.

"You fucking brat!" The guard whined in annoyance.

I was expecting smoke to be coming out of his ears soon while his face boiled red.

"There you go Jungkook, you're desserts ready." I announced while passing Jungkook a spoon.

Taehyung and Jungkook burst out into laughter.

"Delicious, where's my guard covered in chocolate mousse?" A raspier tone asked from beside Jungkook.

Recently the number of members at our table have increased from three, to seven of us.

In this case, it was Hoseok speaking, Jungkook's new cell mate (due to Jungkook's old cellmate being released from prison).

Hoseok is in jail for exporting large amounts of drugs, with his mate Yoongi who tried every single drug that they got their hands on, making being in jail very hard on his withdrawals.

"I'm sure there is plenty more where that came from." I snickered.

Taehyung beside me laughed constantly before patting my thigh under the table with pride of what I have become.

The guard grabbed a cloth that was hanging from our table to wipe his face while muttering angry slurs that we couldn't make out from behind the rag.

"What's going on here?" I heard a guard ask from behind my back.

"There you go Hoseok, more has just been served." Jin snickered, followed by his windshield laughter.

Jin is in jail because of an accidental car accident when he hit a young woman with his vehicle during harsh rain.

He should theoretically be in a cell on a different platform but his actions still were murder due to him not being careful enough during harsh weather.

Jin's cellmate, who is the 7th person who sits with us, is Namjoon.

Namjoon is quite possibly the smartest inmate in jail.

He could easily plot a jail break I reckon.

Namjoon used his brains to scam a lot of people, taking a lot of their money online through a music app that he created.

It was successful for years until his greed got the better of him and he took a large sum of money out of someone's account that managed to get traced back to his bank account due to the size of the money being uncommonly misplaced and imported.

"That one's being troublesome." The guard spoke sternly while pointing at me.

"Excuse me, it's rude to point at someone like that." I claimed while slapping his finger away.

"Just leave him alone-" The other guard started saying to the guard that I'd just mousse faced.

I smirked hearing him speak.

"But he put mousse all over my face, can't you see!?" The guard shot back knowing that the other guard was a higher authority.

He wanted me to be punished.

I probably deserved to be punished.

Two years ago, I would never have done what I did today to a guard.

I used to feel sympathy for the guards due to them working beside inmates that treat them badly.

However, just letting the privileged walk all over you for ten years was not going to happen when I am not guilty.

So I decided to make their lives hard, because my life will also be hard for the next ten years.

I turned around on the concrete bench so the other guard could see my face before I spoke, "I was showing the guard something and my hand slipped. I'd never intentionally put mousse on his face. I am not like that," I began.

"I do not like how you are picking on an inmate, trying to get them in worse trouble, it's not fair." I complained, looking upset to direct it at the guard I put pudding on.

The other guard fell for my lies, directing the other guard to stand in the hallway rather than the cafeteria.

Once both guards had left the table we all burst out laughing.

Namjoon and Jin patted my shoulder when leaving the cafeteria too, proud of my entertainment and behaviour.

I looked at Taehyung who's smile lit up the room for me.

It formed a charming box shape and made the male look so much more handsome, then his straight broken face, having spent too many years in jail now.

"Wanna go back to our cell?" I asked Taehyung, letting my eyes fall down to his thin rosy lips before back to his eyes again, giving him a sign of my intentions.

He licked his lips and nodded.

We left Jungkook, Hoseok and Yoongi behind at the table, however they were deep in conversation and didn't even notice us leaving.

Taehyung and I walked semi quickly back to our cell however I felt butterflies erupting inside me.

But not because of Taehyung, but because my lawyer stood in front of our open cell.

I already knew that what I planned on doing with Taehyung wouldn't be happening.

What does she even want?

"Jimin." She greeted me with a warm smile as I approached her.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her, cocking my eyebrow as Taehyung sighed beside me, feeling let down that a likely boring chat was about to commence.

"I have some great news for you and I wanted to share the news with you, rather than just a guard letting you know or you get some random surprise." She started.

I spun my finger around in a circle to signify that she should hurry up and get to her point.

Because what news could she give me while I am here?

She already told me that she's sold all my belongings now that weren't important.

She's even told me that my brother and his wife are pregnant, only I don't know the gender. Plus I probably wouldn't be able to see the baby.

I haven't yet signed a restraining order for Duri either which is so far a good sign.

So unless she says that I won't have to sign a restraining order, I doubt any news she could tell me is explicitly good news for me.

"Your criminal case is getting appealed, we may be able to get you out of prison."

Heyo! This is obviously not the last chapter, may have a couple more or maybe just one more, not sure yet haha. Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns? Do you think it's good news? What do you think of Jimin's behaviour that he's learnt in prison? Jimin may get Duri back, but may lose Tae now. Bec Tae may have like 3+ more years in prison and Jimin could get out easy as that, but be without Tae for 3 years. And he'd have to sort out a lot of shit with family if he got out. Fr what do yal think?

Also what do you think of the new book cover???

Feel free to comment, vote and add this book to your library/libraries.

Till next time... Stay warm, healthy, safe and take care my lovelies... Byeeeee :)
