How blessed it truly is,
to stumble upon a soul that wants nothing but smiles and sunshines for you, for the rest of your life.

"Guys, meet my fiance Aanvi." Grabbing the attention of the group, Ishaan said holding Aanvi's hand who passed them her alluring smile.

"And Aanvi, they are my college friends. Vivek, Hardik, Riya, Maya and Misha." He introduced her to them who shook hands with her still in shock.

"When and how? You didn't even tell us." Hardik said, lightly punching him who just made a face.

"It was a close knit affair arranged by our families." He said, giving them an apologetic smile who nodded at him.

"Congratulations Guys. So happy for both of you." Maya said happily as she engulfed Aanvi in a warm side hug.

"Don't mind her. She is crazy." Vivek said looking at Maya lovingly who just pulled her tongue out for him coming out of hug.

"She is his wife." Ishaan said when he saw Aanvi giving them a confused look.

"Don't mind asking me Ishaan but don't arrange marriage look too old fashioned. I mean how can a hottie like you can settle for something less." Riya said with a clear fake smile making Aanvi scowl.

"Don't you think the concept of marriage is too old fashioned?" Aanvi asked, folding her hands at her chest as she looked at Riya with a fake smile.

"I didn't mean it that way." Riya murmured looking away.

"In whatever way you meant, but I didn't like it a bit. It's our life and It's going to be our decision whether we want to arrange marriage Or love marriage. Don't interfere in anyone's personal life. It's not counted in good manners." With a tight lipped smile, Aanvi said holding Ishaan's hand.

"It was nice meeting you guys. I have my best friends waiting for me there. Enjoy." She said smiling genuinely at the rest who were looking at her gaping like a fish while Riya didn't even spare a glance at her, too embarrassed to say anything.

She looked at Ishaan who was looking at her wide eyes and then tugged at their hands he was holding tightly making him leave it. Giving him a smile, she went towards her best friends who were enjoying themselves.

"Aanvi." Listening to the husky voice of Ishaan, she stiffened.

"Yes." She asked, turning towards him, giving him a forced smile which didn't reach her eyes.

"Gussa ho?" He asked who nodded in no at him.

(Are you angry?)

"You walked away from there?" He asked, slipping next to her, shoving his hands inside the pocket of his pants.

"I am sorry but I too wanted to spend time with my friends like you were doing Ishaan." Aanvi said playing with the bracelet. He smiled looking at it.

"Thankyou." He said holding her hand caressing the bracelet looking directly into her eyes.

"Huh!?" She looked at him, confusion clearly visible in her deep brown eyes.

"For wearing this." He said smiling at her, making her nod when music started playing and the lights dimmed.

Come around… it’s time to baby
Come around..
Come on now… come around…
It’s time to baby… come around
Come around… come around

Ananya and Vivaan started dancing in the centre taking all the limelight on them as everyone hooted loudly for the couple. Aanvi smiled widely looking at them.

Khwaabon bina, nigahen meri jee rahin thi
Koi nahin tha yeh akeli meri thi zindagi
Ohhh yehh..
Khamosh tha honthon pe baatein nahin thi
Koi nahin tha yeh akeli meri thi zindagi.

Much to her surprise, Ishaan started lip syncing the lyrics as he got on his knees forwarding his right hand towards him making everyone hoot loudly.

Tum mile toh mil gaya yeh jahaan
Tum mile toh har pal hai naya
Tum mile toh sabse hai… faasla
Tum mile toh jaadu chaa gaya
Tum mile toh jeena aa gaya
Tum mile toh maine paaya… hai khuda.

She hesitantly slipped her hands in his as he got up twirling her around as his hand held her back in a firm grip. At that moment, she couldn't feel anything except for the fact of how he looked at her. It was so beautiful as a playful smile played on his lips. They lost themselves in the moment, letting their heart take control as their lips stretched into a beautiful smile enjoying the closeness which was making their heart erratic.

Changing his clothes Ishaan yawned, taking the pillow and pulled out his phone from the drawer.

He had a huge smile adorning his face as he felt his heart at peace. He loved how Aanvi didn't need him to protect her honour. She knows how and when to use her tongue. He realised that she is talkative but it's reserved for some people only, otherwise she just listens and gives her views. She is a sharp speaker when she doesn't like something and doesn't hesitate to point it out.

He looked at the picture which was taken by Advay where he was looking at her with a smile adorning his lips while she was laughing her heart out with her hands placed at his chest. It was a beautiful click. He smiled, caressing the screen and set it as his wallpaper. He felt childish doing it but he wanted to.

Keeping the phone aside, he looked outside the open french window of his room.

Looking at the empty jug of water, he stretched his hand taking it and slipped onto his Vest leaving the room to fill it up.

"Oh. Finally Mr.Richie Rich is home." Listening to the voice of his father, Ishaan stopped in his tracks turning to Mr.Naman Raichand who was looking at him with a disappointed look which was nothing new for him.

"You are going to get married soon but look at you, no responsibilities and nothing. Stop behaving like a damn bachelor when you have a company to look after Ishaan." Naman's voice raised as he looked at his only son with anger evident in his eyes.

"With yourself, are you going to spoil the life of Aanvi too? Just look at Advay and Aayush. They attended the same party but arrived before you but you don't have something called responsibility on your head." Naman said with a shake of head and left from there leaving behind a teary eyed Ishaan.

Disappointment, that's what he had been for his father throughout his life. He closed his eyes, fisting the jug tightly, breaking it in the process, hurting his palm but it didn't affect him as much as his father's words. He was late as he had to drop Aanvi too and being Vivaan's best friend, he stopped for some time more.

He had been a topper student though he was very naughty but when he decided to not join the family business, his father was furious. Due to the support from his sister, mother and grandmother, he was able to achieve what he wanted but in that process he lost his father who always looked down upon him no matter how much success he got.

He shook his head looking at his bleeding hands and left from there with tear filled eyes.
