The most beautiful part is I wasn't even looking when I found you.

As they came inside, they saw their mothers talking to the jeweller explaining the kind of jewellery they are looking for. He looked at Aanvi who had a scowl adorning her face.

"You still have time. Lets run away Or else so many functions and so much jewellery." He whispered in her ears leaning by her side making her bite her lips to control herself from erupting into laughter.

"I don't have any problem. Let's do it then." She said looking into his eyes who had mirth dancing in them.

"Aanvi." But before they could react more, her mother called her out, making a slight pout adorn his face as she started going away from him.

She was made to sit on a chair as his mother started trying jewellery designs on her. She opened her jhumkas, keeping them away as she wore the earrings and necklace.

Her eyes unknowingly travelled to him through the mirror who was already looking at her. She raised her eyes in the mirror, making him nod in no. She denied her mother-in-law and tried another. The gesture was noticed by everyone as a smile captured their face. They both were so lost that none of them noticed.

Finally, by his approval, she chose two beautiful jewellery sets.

As his mother was going to pay, he stopped her and handed his card to her.

"She is my wife's mom. Pay from this." He whispered which was heard by Aanvi.

Then her mother chose a men's bracelet for him and a diamond brooch. Aanvi paid the bill taking him by surprise.

As they came out, she was behind with him.

"Why did you pay the bill?" He asked, making her confused as she eyed him and then understanding him, she laughed.

"Likewise I also want my husband to wear anything from my hard earned money. We are going to spend our life together, so let's start with sharing our expenses." She said leaving, letting her hair wave in the air. He looked at her with dreamy eyes following his mother to the car. The gesture touched his heart when she said that she wanted him to wear those from her hard earned money.

Her smallest of the gestures touches his heart like anything and he was happy about it. He was willing to accept all the changes that are going to come into his life along with her.

A month and half passed in a blur and now their wedding was just three days away. Wedding jitters were hitting Aanvi like anything and she would end up crying in the smallest of the matter.

Right now also, she was sobbing leaning on her stomach on her queen sized cosy bed. A pillow was under her face while she was continuously sobbing.

"Aanu, for god's sake open the door. I  won't tease you ever. Now please baby, open it." Aditya said in a tired voice. He had just teased her that he will give a makeover to her room and will give it to Aarush as it's big and she ended up crying.

"Go away. You don't love me." She screamed sobbing making Aditya's heart break as he looked at Meera helplessly.

"I told you not to tease her but you won't listen to any of us. Isn't it?" She asked packing the gifts along with Akanksha, Alayna and Adya.

"I didn't know that she would become so serious." He murmured in a small voice looking away as his own eyes filled up with tears at the prospect of his sister leaving him. Once gone, it's true that she will never return. Though she will come once in a while, Meera was a perfect example of it. She didn't like going to her parents much though they pampered her a lot. She will go in the morning and will return in the evening saying she can't sleep without him. He knew his sister would be no exception. She won't just remain his sister after marriage. She will have responsibilities of her own house too.

Sighing, he left from there deep in his thoughts. Slowly, Aanvi's sobbing turned to hiccups as she fell into a slumber.

Her sleep broke due to the loud shrill of her phone as she picked it up in a sleepy posture.

"Hello." She murmured, rubbing her face over the pillow as she kept the phone over her ears.

"I loved it a lot." She heard Ishaan's loud voice and by his tone, it was evident that he was smiling.

"Really?" She asked, sitting stretching her left hand as a yawn escaped her lips.

"Yeah. I kept it on the nightstand beside my bed. It looks so pretty. I didn't know that you were talented in this matter too." He said, making her laugh.

She had gifted him a handmade photo frame with two photos in it. From their engagement and cocktail party.

"Why does your voice sound so heavy?" He finally asked the question which was bothering him, making her go silent.

"I feel so weird these days. I end up crying in the smallest of matters and tomorrow, we are leaving for the resort too. I guess it's wedding jitters." She said after sometime breaking the silence.

"I don't know how you honestly feel Aanvi so I won't give you any false hope. We have our work and maybe we won't be visiting your house daily. But you can visit your parents whenever you want and do whatever you wish for them. You will always find me beside you." He said with honesty dripping his tongue. It was true that after marriage she will be busy and maybe won't have much time with them. But she wanted to make all the moments memorable as she left the house where she grew up to start a new life.

"My luggages reached?" She asked, looking around her room which looked so empty. The dreamcatcher, her trophies, her photos and her wardrobe everything was sent to his house except for some things which were close to her.

"Yeah. They are in my room only. The maid will adjust it into the wardrobe tomorrow." He said from the other side, making her hum.

"You are fine Aanvi?" He asked in his concerned voice.

"I am. I will call you later, Ishaan. Bye." She hung up the call only to burst out crying. Dragging her foot, she caressed the photo frames which were still hanging as tears cascaded down her cheeks. The thought that this is her last day in this house made her cry out.

She wiped away her tears when she heard the banging on the door. Dragging herself, she opened it to spot her father standing along with a tray filled with food.

"Your food." He said, giving her a smile, making her nod as she took it from him.

"Aanvi." He called her out as she turned towards the room, making her hum.

"I am always there for you. Just because you are getting married doesn't mean that you have no connection with us or you can't share your problems with us. Your Papa can still turn the world upside down if it concerns you." He said in an emotional voice going towards her as he caressed her hair and followed her vision which was stuck on the photo frame in which she was 10 years old showing her trophy in dancing while grinning and he was caressing her head with a wide smile.

She kept the tray aside as she looked at him with emotional tear filled eyes and hugged him tightly. It was after ages she was hugging him. She felt peaceful as he started feeding her while reminiscing all the moments of her childhood.

How was it?

I am trying to make Aanvi's relationship with her father as realistic as possible. He is strict and silent kind of person who doesn't voice out his feelings to his children like most of our fathers.
