❝How old did you say you were?❞ Hana asked the high school girl next to her.

Jaehwa looked at her nervously, the older girl had an intimidating aura ❝I'm Eighteen❞ She declared ❝I'm on my last year of high school❞

❝Aww, you remind me of my teenage self❞ Hana smiled at her ❝I still don't get why you didn't want to bring her with us, Sky❞

Skylark, who was already pissed, glared at her ❝Because I'm supposed to take care of her, and now we're taking her to a nightclub!❞ She exclaimed madly ❝her sister's going to kill me❞

Jaehwa rolled her eyes ❝Sky, chill. My sister doesn't need to know about this❞

On the other hand, Yisoo and her best friend Hyungwon — who happily accepted the invitation— were giggling behind the three girls about their little discussion.

Apparently, while Hana went to pick up  Skylark, she bumped into Jaehwa. The high school girl told her that Skylark didn't allowed her to go partying with them and Hana came up with an amazing idea: She told Jaehwa to go hide in the car, where Yisoo and Hyungwon were waiting for them.

❝And who are these?❞ Skylark asked once she calmed down, pointing at the pair of friends sitting in the back.

❝Oh right, this is Yisoo, one of my classmates, the smarty I told you about❞ Hana responded ❝And this is...❞ She paused. Again, she couldn't remember the boy's name.

❝I'm Hyungwon❞ The tall guy introduced himself ❝I'm Yisoo's friend❞

❝Friends? No way!❞ Jaehwa exclaimed ❝I thought you two were dating!❞

Skylark glared at the young girl with a "shut up already" look and then went back to the conversation ❝It's nice to meet you both❞

It was already one in the morning but the party was just getting started. The whole place was absolutely crowded, especially the dance floor.  After all, it was Friday night and young people just wanted to celebrate the end of another stressful week.

❝So Min Yoongi, Huh?❞ Hana looked directly to the boy's dark eyes ❝It's an uncommon name❞

The pale guy smirked at her ❝I know. I prefer to be called Suga❞

Hana nodded ❝I'll call you Yoongi❞ She giggled and suddenly took his hand. The alcohol making its effect on her ❝Let's see if your dance moves are as interesting as your name❞ And after that, both made their way to the dance floor.

Jaehwa was absolutely impressed at the older girl's confidence ❝How did she do that?❞ She looked at Yisoo and her friend next to her. Skylark had already disappeared into the massive amount of people.

❝She's Hana... she's a pro at doing this kind of stuff❞ Yisoo answered ❝While some of us prefer to hide, she likes to expose herself to the world❞ She shrugged.

The teenage girl took a deep breath and tried to gain some courage ❝I choose the second option❞ And as soon as Jaehwa said this, she took her glass and disappeared in the dance floor too.

Skylark breathed heavily and looked at the couple next to her with jealousy ❝Aish... Get a room you two❞ Those words came impulsively out of her mouth.

The couple break apart and glared at her. In fact, they were just kissing. ❝We're sorry❞

Skylark's checks got red, she wasn't expecting that they could hear her. Then she decided to lift her head a bit to face them ❝Wait... Do I know you?❞

❝I think so! You're the girl that gave me a free sandwich the other day at the cafe, right?❞ Sooah suddenly jumped out of excitement after recognizing the lovely waitress.

Skylark nodded happily, Sooah was the last person she thought she could bump into that night ❝Yeah, that's me❞ she smiled shyly ❝Oh and sorry for being rude before, I didn't mean it❞

❝Oh don't worry about it❞ Sooah declared carelessly ❝This is Taehyung, by the way❞

❝Nice to meet you. Well, since you gave my girlfriend a free sandwich, the last thing I can do is invite you something to drink❞ Taehyung incorporated himself in the conversation. ❝What do you say?❞

Sooah suddenly pecked his boyfriend's soft cheek ❝You're so sweet baby!❞ She said in a cute way, making Sky and Taehyung giggle. ❝So, let's go for a drink!❞

❝Yeah, sure!❞

This two spent the rest of the night together, like they had been friends their whole lives.  Sooah even introduced her to Taehyung's handsome group of friends ─ also known as his indie rock band ─ and here's where things started to get even more interesting.

Skylark met Moon Bin, one of the members of the band. She couldn't get his name out of her head after that night.

Hyorin and Hwayoung were now looking for their two lost friends. It was almost four in the morning and the club was about to close, it was still crowded though.

❝Excuse me?❞ Suddenly they were interrupted by a cute couple that didn't seem to be enjoying the party as much as the others ❝Have you seen this girl?❞ Yisoo showed her a picture of Hana in her phone.

Hwayoung immediately recognized her, she had left the place a few minutes ago with a man in a motorcycle. ❝Yeah I just saw her leaving with a guy❞

Yisoo looked at her best friend Hyungwon with a worried look on her face ❝She was supposed to take us home! We'll have to take a taxi❞

❝We lost our friends too❞ Hwayoung breathed heavily, she was so tired and wanted to be the place as soon as possible. However, that was far away from happening.

She hadn't gotten to be the same after her boyfriend cheated on her. It was like something irreparable broke inside of her. She didn't tell anybody about this though, she preferred to bottle things up, but soon she will explode.

❝If you help us finding out friends then I'll give you a ride home❞ Hyorin proposed to the couple in front of her as she finally stood up.

The four people started the searching for all the girls missing: Nahyun, Sooah Skylark and also young Jaehwa.

❝Drink, drink, drink, drink!❞ Suddenly a bunch of people started yelling next to them. 

As they looked, they found nothing less but Skylark and Sooah. The pair was jumping around and yelling loudly while clapping.

❝There you are!❞ Hyorin took Sooah's arm and moved her aside from the crowd and chaos ❝We are going home now❞

Sooah pouted immediately after hearing her friend's bossy words. She was pretty drunk and just wanted to keep on having fun ❝I'll stay here with Taehyung, he can take care of me❞

Hwayoung and Hyorin couldn't believe their friend. Was she out of her mind? They had made up already? Sooah was definitely a lost case.

❝You're coming with us though❞ Yisoo declared as glaring at Skylark who was uselessly trying to hide from them.

She finally came out reluctantly and with crossed arms ❝Taehyung can take care of me too❞

❝No way, let's go❞ Hyungwon, Yisoo's friend who had been mostly quiet the whole night, shook his head. He didn't had a good feeling about this crazy group of friends.

Soon after that they found the other two girls, Nahyun and Jaehwa. Two of them had meet in the dance floor and immediately became dancing partners getting a lot of attention from the boys around them.

Of course, they didn't want to leave the place either, they were having the time of their lives; but they didn't have a choice, they were the younger ones of the group and had to get back home safely.

Hyorin, Yisoo, Hwayoung, Nahyun and Jaehwa walked together to the older girl's car. While Sooah decided to stay with her boyfriend and... God knows where Hana was.

That's how the eight girls met, all of them in a nightclub trying to mend their broken hearts.

Sadly none of them could.
