❝Okay so we're all here, right?❞ Hyorin asked while looking around to make sure none of her friends were missing.

❝Yup, seven of us❞ Jaehwa answered quickly ❝And company...❞ She gave a deadly look to Wooseok. However, the eighteen year old boy next to her wasn't the only one who had joined the girls. First of all, Taehyung and Moonbin actually invited everyone, then there was Seungcheol who was finally on a date with Nahyun and he couldn't reject the offer, Yisoo's best friend, Hyungwon was obviously there, and finally everyone was surprised by the fact that Hana had brought a guy with her... Yoongi.

Once Taehyung and Moonbin left the group to prepare everything for their band performance Skylark smiled widely ❝Thank you for doing this for me girls, I really appreciate it❞ She hugged Sooah from the back ❝I'm so excited for tonight ❞

❝I only came because you said party and college guys but you're welcome❞ Jaehwa confessed ❝You're the best babysitter ever❞

❝You better behave because I ain't taking care of you tonight❞ Skylark said in serious tone.

Nahyun smirked ❝Aww our little Sky is getting laid tonight!❞ She clapped with excitement.

The waitress's face got as red as a tomato as she tried to deny it and everyone laughed at how cute she looked when she was embarrased.

❝Alright are we done with this conversation?❞ Hana interrupted them as she started walking to the entrance of the campfire place ❝ Let's go get fucked up❞

The girls splitted up as soon as more and more people started to arrive. The music wasn't too loud and there was a small stage setted in the middle of the place for Taehyung and Moonbin's indie band. The whole atmosphere was amazing, the temperature was warm enough to being outside and the campire was shining bright with a lot of people around it.

❝So are you gonna give me some of that or....❞  Jaehwa suddently appeared behind Hana making her startle. The older girl was too concentrated on making herself a drink.

❝Oh there you are little one❞ Hana  greeted the teenager ❝Didn't your babysitter ask you to behave?❞ She joked.

Jaehwa rolled her eyes ❝Didn't Yisoo asked you to do the same?❞ She countered, glaring at the red cup that her friend was holding.

❝Touché❞ Hana replied completely defeated ❝There you go❞ She gave a red cup to the younger girl, of course she didn't add as much alcohol as she did with her cup, but still it was only the first drink of the night. ❝So who's that boy? Is he your boyfriend❞

Jaehwa's face answered the question without needing more explanation ❝He's my stupid classmate, I was basically forced to bring him❞ She added without even worrying if Wooseok could hear her or not.  ❝And what about that hottie? Are you seriously dating the motorcycle guy?❞ 

❝Oh honey, I don't date❞  She looked at Yoongi who was actually eavesdropping. He couldn't say he didn't expect Hana to say such things because he had had the privilege to get to know her a little bit in the last couple of weeks, but he really wished she could see him as something more than just a friend... with benefits. ❝He's fun to be around though❞

Hyorin and Hwayoung the quiet ones decided to sit next to the campfire, they were both allowed to drink this time since they would take an uber to go back home. Yisoo joined them with Hyungwon and gave each one of them a small cup with soju.

❝Oh great❞ Hyorin exclamed as a she saw one of her dancers approaching them. ❝That's Jimin❞

She vaguely tried to hide  but it was completely in vain ❝Hyorin!❞ Jimin practically yelled of excitement when he was finally in front of her. ❝I thought you didn't like fun, what are you doing here?❞ Hwayoung and Yisoo giggled at the boy's remark.  ❝And you're drinking? We have practice early tomorrow!❞

❝You're drinking as well, Jimin❞  Hyorin looked at him with disappointment. ❝And stop yelling, what are you? a little kid?❞

Yisoo's extremely kind and sensitive side inmediately appeared. ❝Hey... don't be so mean to him, he's just happy to see you❞ She murmured.

❝Oh it's okay... I'm used to it❞ He shrugged ❝You should see her in dance our dance practice, she's a lioness.... an angry one❞

Jimin — ignoring the fact that he was a bit drunk already — was for sure a charismatic and fun guy to be around and as soon as he joined the group he made everybody laugh, making Hyroin's friends wonder why she had such an attitude towards him.

About an hour passed and Hyorin couldn't endure him anymore, she made herself three more drinks and since she barely even drank, she immediately felt dizzy. ❝Okay Jimin that's enough❞ she stammered. ❝Can I have my friends back?❞

❝What about I take you instead of your friends?❞ Jimin proposed ❝Let's talk❞

Nahyun couldn't find Seungcheol anywhere and she was starting to regret inviting him. He told her he was just going to the bathroom for a second, but he dissapeared for half an hour.

She knew he was a fuckboy and he was probably out there flirting with easy but hot girls. She witnessed how everyone was happy and enjoying the campfire, some couples were hugging and kissing and that made her feel extremely lonely, so she decided to go home.

When she was walking to the road, she felt a 'pssst'  coming from behind the trees. She kept walking even faster because she didn't want to get kidnapped obviously but a someone grabbed her hand making her scream like crazy.

She felt the air return to her lungs when she saw the face of her date standing in front of her and holding her hand. ❝I swear to god I'm going to kill you❞

❝What took you so long?❞  Seungcheol asked in confussion. ❝I've been waiting here for ages❞

Nahyun looked at him with a perfect 'o' formed with her mouth ❝Are you kidding me?❞ She asked. ❝You told me you were going to the bathroom!❞

❝Buy I gave you the look❞  He tried to explain but that just made the girl way more mad and frustrated than she already was ❝The look that meant I'll wait for you outside.... I even texted you, do you even check you phone?❞ 

❝I left it at home, you idiot❞ Nahyun grunted ❝I told you on our way here❞ She crossed her arms, leaving both of them in an uncomfortable silence. As soon as she calmed down she decided to break the ice once again.   ❝Okay so... why are we here?❞

Seungcheol gave her the cutest smile ever ❝...Well❞  He took something out of his pocket.

❝Scoups...Were you waiting out here for me with a joint?❞ Nahyun chuckled.

❝Uh yeah, now It's an apology joint❞

Hwayoung wasn't exactly a social butterfly, her 5-year relationship break up had taken everything away from her, incluiding her ability to meet new people. So as soon as Hyorin and Jimin went god knows where, she felt anxious. On the other hand she had Yisoo and her best friend Hyungwon to make her company, but they were on they're own little world. Finally she decided to walk around to see if she could find Sooah or Nahyun.

Suddently she bumped into someone, but the person started talking before she could apologize ❝Hey... I know you❞

She looked up to find a handsome guy. It didn't take her too long to realize he was the one from the café ❝No you don't❞  She responded quickly. ❝I mean... I don't remember❞

❝Yes, you're the cute girl from Lylas, the café❞ He assured ❝I'm Kim Yongguk... How's the story going?❞  He asked in a curious way. It was the first time a boy asked her about her books, her ex-boyfriend never really understood how passionate Hwayoung was about writing.

Hwayoung smiled innocently ❝It's almost done... I just haven't figured out a great ending yet❞ She explained. ❝I'm not sure if I want a sad ending or not❞

Yongguk frowned and shook his head ❝In my opinion...I'd prefer a happy ending❞  He sat down in one of the chairs next to the campfire, but first he ordered to sit down too. Hwayoung accepted the offer, she didn't have anyone else to talk to anyway.

❝Why?❞ The girl asked accidentaly making eye contact, but Yongguk didn't avoid it.

❝Life is harsh enough, you know?❞ He went straight to the point. For the tone of his voice, Hwayoung felt that he may have gone through something intense in the past, like he had suffered as much as she did. ❝Some books with sad endings definitely break your heart and that's not what I'm looking for in a book❞

Hwayoung nodded ❝But what if you're heart is already broken?❞
