Her Attitude Changes: Chapter 6

Kourin entered the Art room with a cold emotion on her face. She ignored everybody (even Asaka, who called and greeted her) and just went to her seat.

She was NOT in the mood, so you should not mess with her.

Kourin was glaring at the ground when she sat down, and it seems that her mind blocked out every sound.

"Hey Kourin-san." A familiar voice said, but Kourin did not reply to the voice.

The blue haired lad noticed that the blonde idol was not in her normal mood so he avoided asking many questions.

"Kourin-san, what's wro-" Aichi was about to ask, but Kourin knew what he was going to ask so she cut him off.

"Nothing is wrong."

"But you were glar-" Aichi started once again but he was cut off again.

"This is the true me, showing my bad side. Got a problem?" Kourin said without taking her eyes off the ground.

"Alright." He shut his mouth since Aichi knew that it has no use asking her.

-Time Skip

Misaki, Kourin and Asaka met together at lunch break. Misaki and Asaka passed through the line at the Cafeteria but Kourin was just there.

"Kourin, what's wrong? You've been down in the dumps lately." Asaka said as she noticed the differences about her best friend.

"Nothing, Asa-chan." Asaka almost choked on her food. She quickly drank some water and Misaki looked wierdly at her.

"I... I told you... not to call me that!" Asaka said while coughing.

"Well, I want to, okay?" Kourin rolled her eyes.

The rest of their lunch break continued with a comfortable silence, no one daring to break it. The whistle of the wind feels good for them.

When the bell rang, Misaki pulled Kourin.

"Kourin, I know that this is wierd for me to ask, but, What's the matter?" Misaki asked and Kourin looked at her wierdly.

It's true, Kourin felt wierded out that Misaki asked her about what's wrong.

But Kourin just shrugged it off. She doesn't want to tell Misaki.

"I'm going to be late, Misa-chan!" Misaki was shocked and released Kourin at once. A lot of painful memories would return to her if someone calls her Misa-chan.

Kourin walked (or ran) away from her. Misaki just walked to the Speech Laboratory, not caring if she was going to be late.

Meanwhile with Asaka...

Asaka went to the Technology and Livelihood Education room alone. She took out her book and started reading since they would have a quiz today.

She ignored the noise around her as she tried to understand the lessons.

Their teacher came and started to discuss their new lesson before having a quiz.

Probably a 50-item quiz.

Asaka mumbled as she tried to understand the lesson.

-Time Skip

Asaka went to the Algebra classroom. She noticed Misaki and sat beside her but Misaki was not startled. Instead, she ignored Asaka.

"Misaki?" She called.

"What?!" Misaki managed to control her voice.

"I saw and heard what happened with Kourin. What's wrong with her calling you...?" Asaka did not mention 'Misa-chan'.

".....Nothing is wrong." Misaki whispered, yet Asaka heard the sadness in her voice.

"I am your best friend, right? So please, I am concerned about you." Asaka said, concern was there in her voice.

Misaki took a deep breath and sighed. She was ready to tell her everything-about her being cold, about her hating nicknames, everything.

A/N

Wait for a few chapters to know about the changes in Kourin's attitude...

I know that most of us hates cliffhangers (or was it?). Even I hate cliffhangers.

And.. I apologize if this would be long, since I don't know how to make short stories.
