Her Dramatic Scene: Chapter 59

Kai entered the clinic. "Miki!"

But then, he was greeted happily by Asaka and Kourin.

"Ohayo! You're lucky today, our best friend turned out to have a weak heart and you made it worse." Kourin said sarcastically, tiptoeing to make an eye contact with Kai.

"I didn't know." Kai replied simply.

"Mochiro! You did it because you didn't know, didn't you?" (Of course!) Asaka deadpanned.

"I wouldn't hav-" Kai was cut off.

"Oh shut your trap! Stop with your stupid excuses!" Asaka glared at him as she slapped him hard. So hard that Kai fell.

"Hanase, Kourin!" (Let go, Kourin!) Asaka hissed as Kourin held her.

"Yamete, Asaka!" (Stop it, Asaka!) Kourin stopped her.

Kai was out of words. He just got up and dusted his uniform.

"But this ba-" Asaka was cut off.

"Yes, I know. But it's enough."

"Bu-"

"Just listen to Rin-san, Asa-chan." Misaki's voice was heard. Asaka and Kourin hugged her.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Asaka asked, close to tears.

"You didn't ask me, did you?" Misaki replied, giggling softly. She stopped as she saw Kai.

"Kai Toshiki. I guess you already know? Watashi wo kokoro..." (My heart...) Misaki placed her hand on her chest.

"Is weak. You think that I don't know that you made a bet?"

She ought to know that it wasn't about her! Besides, that bet was 2 months ago since finished!

Kai sweatdropped. "Miki-"

"Don't call me that!"

"I didn't call you 'that'. I called you by your childhood nickname."

"Sorry Kai, but I don't care about your sense of humor. Use your common sense."

"Misa-" Kai was cut off again.

"Don't call me by my first name neither. We're back to last name basis."

"T-Tokura... It's hard."

"Bear with it, Kai. It's easier than not listening to me." Misaki retorted.

"It's already finished... That bet. That was to make you hate me."

"Hate? Hate you? Kai.." Some tears formed at the corner of her eyes. Kai was about to wipe them but Misaki slapped his arm away.

"I was deeply hurt by your actions lately.. You not trying to listen, not letting me explain, even avoided me and made me feel like it was my fault. We are the same when it comes to pride, Kai. My pride is also high." Misaki started .

"I know I should hate you ... But somehow... I couldn't bring myself to do so!" Some tears were flowing already.

"Since... I already love you. I was ready to admit it, but then you didn't let me try to explain. Daisuki, sayonara." She left.

Kourin and Asaka were left while Kai chased her.

"Miki!" He held her arm tight.

"Hanase, Kai! Yamete! Your act is over now!" Misaki tried to break free from Kai's grip.

"Chigao. Zetsubo nadou mou shinau mou nigenai." (No. I won't hesitate anymore, I won't run away anymore.) Kai sang the verse only.

(Just for so you know, most of my Japaneese words are lyrics translated)

"What do you m-" Misaki was cut off as she felt Kai's soft lips on hers

Was it boring? Mostly, probably in our class they squeal in a kissing scene but me.. Nahh.
