They walked to the field. Ren had his break down aura around him, due to what happened at Chemistry.

Misaki was walking while reading, pretending that she didn't do anything wrong.

Asaka slightly giggled when she saw that Ren was looking disappointed.

Kourin and Aichi shared the same look, confused.

Kai was still glaring at the ground, obviously not in the mood for jokes.

They finally reached the school field.

Kai sat in front of Misaki, who sat beside Asaka who sat in front of Kourin and beside Ren who sat in front of Aichi who sat beside Kourin.

Misaki continued reading while Asaka, Kourin and Aichi started eating.

Ren was still feeling disappointed and was about to break down.

He stared at the girl in front of him.

Misaki felt Kai's stare and became uneasy.

"Nande... Why are you staring at me?" Misaki asked him.

Kai smiled a bit and sang.

"You are my cinema I could watch you forever..."

Misaki blushed a bit but she just continued reading.

Asaka laid an arm around Ren.

"Ren-sama, daijobu!" (Ren, it's alright!)

"Chigao! It's not alright..." (No! It's not alright...) Ren mumbled.

"Yes it is. Now eat." Asaka insisted and tried to feed Ren.

"Aahh" Asaka said and Ren opened his mouth.

Aichi and Kourin blinked. They felt awkward-

No, not awkward. They felt left out. Yes, LEFT OUT.

Kourin sighed and continued eating.

On the other side, Kai was still staring with a weak smile.

Misaki knows that Kai was staring so she looked away and her face turned pink.

Kai chuckled a bit when he saw Misaki's reaction.

It was arts time. Misaki was just reading her book since Kai volunteered to bring her bag.

At first, Misaki refused but Kai insisted to.

Then out of the blue, Kai asked her.

"Do you really love to read?" He asked.

Misaki smiled a bit. "Yeah. I've loved reading ever since. Can't live without books."

"Can't I be the same way?"

"Shut up, it doesn't suit you."

"Yeah, whatever. But I'm serious." Kai said with a serious tone.

Misaki stopped walking so Kai did the same. She stopped reading and made eye contact with Kai.

"Let's see what would happen." Misaki said and broke the eye contact.

"So does that mean that I have a chance?"

"I don't know." Misaki said and continued reading.

They entered the arts room. Kai placed Misaki's bag at her seat and Misaki thanked him.

He even winked at her.

Stop making me blush!

Their professor entered and wrote their project done in pairs.

They headed for their next subject, Music.

"Oh, by the way here is my spare key to my room. Take it. " Misaki said and handed him the key.

"Okay, I'll make sure it doesn't get lost." Kai said in an assuring tone.

Misaki smiled a bit, but it was a genuine smile.

Kai found her smile heartwarming. He felt his heart skip a bit.
