"WATASHI.... DAISUKI MISAKI!"

When he was about to go down, he heard a shocked voice call him.

"Kai.?!'

"Kai.?!" Misaki was standing there, with a shocked expression on her face.

"Mi....Misaki..." Kai stuttered.

"A...About what you he...heard..." Kai stopped and inhaled deeply.

"It's true." Kai finally admitted and Misaki was just standing there, dumbfounded.

"I...I don't know what you mean.." Misaki stated.

So Asaka was right, she was not lying....

Kai thought.

"I....I have fallen for you..." Kai confessed and held her shoulders.

Misaki sighed and removed his hands from her shoulders.

"I...I'm sorry, Kai..." She said sadly.

"Just a chance, please? I... I'll prove to you that... I'm not like your ex." Kai said sincerely.

"I... I don't... know.." Misaki admitted and Kai sighed.

"I understand..." Kai said and turned away from her.

He started walking away from her. But when he was about to go down, Misaki called him.

"Matte! Matte, Kai!" (Matte means wait.) She called but Kai ignored her. Misaki chased Kai and held his hand.

"I.... I think.... I trust you..." Misaki stammered. She saw Kai smile.

My first time smiling sincerely again after 10 years....

Kai thought. Then he hugged her and Misaki hugged back.

"Ari...gato..." He muttered. Misaki was confused.

"Huh? Why?"

"For making me smile after 10 years... When my parents died... I never smiled sincerely again. Until you came into my life..." Kai explained.

Then he felt something warm and wet on his chest. Misaki was crying.

"I.. I know how you feel..." Misaki said.

Kai felt bad for making her remember about her parents.

"I...I'm sorry for making you remember.." Kai apologized.

"No... I appreciate it. It helps me move on..." Misaki said.

They stayed in that position for a while.

Kai headed for the Computer room. He sat at his proper seat and buried his face in his arms.

Yes, he was embarrased due to the events earlier.

"What's up with that expression, Kai? Is it because of Misa-ki?" Ren asked him with a devious smirk.

"Shut up, Ren." Kai replied to him. He does not know that Aichi was there.

Then a force hit the back of Ren's head.

"And I told you that it's Misaki."

Ren rubbed the back of his head, and asked her.

"What happened to him?"

"Do I look like a fortune teller?" Misaki replied sarcastically.

Good thing that she can keep a secret...

He thought.

"I just thought that maybe you have an idea." Ren also replied.

"Well she has nothing to do with me!" Kai replied to Ren.

"You're lying." Aichi declared.

"Shut Up." Kai said coldly.

"Why should we?" A voice said.

Asaka was standing there, with a devious smirk on her face.

Everyone fell silent since the professor entered the room.

Asaka was glancing deviously at Misaki, which was actually creeping her out.
