Her Annoying Best Friend: Chapter 10

Kourin, instead of being in a bad mood again, was in a good mood now.

Asaka noticed this and approached her.

"Rinny?" Asaka called her.

"Don't call me that, Asa-chan."

"Whatever you say, Rin." Asaka said and she saw a small smile tug on Kourin's lips.

"Fine..." Kourin said, but then she continued.

"Asaka, what are you going to ask? I know that you are gonna ask something since your seat is far from here." The blonde idol said.

"Well, somebody lifted you up of your bad mood, hmm?" Asaka tilted her head a bit.

"Whatever." Kourin sighed.

Asaka returned to her seat as the professor came.

Their whole biology period was boring, all about discussions. Asaka headed for Algebra while Kourin headed for Literature.

Kourin saw Misaki near the window as usual. She sat at her proper seat, at the back.

The professor arrived and Kourin tried to grasp everything he was teaching.

When the subject was over, Kourin approached Misaki.

"Misa, gomenasai. (Gomenasai = Sorry.)" The blonde idol said to her lilac haired best friend.

"Iyada Kourin. Watashi... Shinimase... (Iyada = No, Watashi = I, Shinimase = I'm Sorry.)" Misaki replied to Kourin.

They hugged each other.

Misaki and Kourin parted ways since they don't have the same subject.

"Asaka?" Misaki said as she saw Asaka waiting outside the Chemestry lab.

"Misa, I was waiting for you!" Asaka replied.

"Duhh, you could've waited inside, bagairo. (Bagairo = Idiot)"
Misaki said and rolled her eyes playfully.

Asaka glared (don't worry, she's not mad) playfully at Misaki and went inside the Chemestry lab.

Misaki sat near Kai and Asaka sat beside Ren.

"Nee, Asaka-chan.." (Nee = Hey) Ren called her.

"Nani, Ren-sama?" (Nani = What) Asaka replied to him.

Ren gave a card to her. "I was wondering if you want to hang out?"

"Sure." That was her reply.

"Arigato!" (Arigato = Thank You)

They kept silent as the professor warned them.

-Time Skip

Misaki and Asaka were walking in the hallways when Ren approached them.

"Asaka-chan! Misa-ki!"

"It's MISAKI." Misaki emphasized her name.

"Would you join our hangout? Aichi-kun also got Kourin-chan to join and also Asaka-chan." Ren said and Asaka nodded in approval.

"So, Misa-ki?"

She sighed.
"It's Misaki. And if you can't bear calling me that, then rather call me Tokura instead." Misaki huffed.

"But doesn't Kai call you Tokura?" Ren asked when Misaki turned away from them.

"So? What if he calls me Tokura? Does it mean that you can't call me that?" Misaki glared at him.

"Yes, it doesn't mean but I want to call you something different. Aichi-kun calls you Misaki-san, Asaka-chan calls you Misa or Misaki, same for Kourin-chan, and Kai-kun calls you Tokura." Ren explained.

"Did you just approach us just to explain the way everyone calls me? If it is, then I gotta go." Misaki said rather in a rude way and started walking away.

Ren stared at her curiously when she walked away.

"Don't worry Ren-sama, she's not mad. She's just annoyed." Asaka tried to explain and Ren sighed.

"Alright, Asaka-chan, I'm heading for Computer. Bye." Ren said and walked away.

Asaka headed for her last subject, which was History with Kourin. Asaka saw Kourin at her proper seat, which was at the front so Asaka did the same and sat at the second row.

-Time Skip (Nothing Much To Say Every Subject Period, Except if it's important only)

Asaka saw Kourin immediately get her bag when the clock hit 4. Everyone bid farewell since the professor already knew it was already time since most of the students kept their books.

Asaka also got her bag and started walking away. But she didn't go home yet. She passed by the park and enjoyed the breeze for a while there (while reading a book for their History quiz tomorrow).

She saw someone familliar there but Asaka just shrugged and thought that maybe it was just an illusion.

But it was not an illusion. Asaka glanced again and saw Aichi and Kourin at a park bench, laughing together.

Yes, they are also in the same park where Asaka came to.

So that's why Kourin was not in her bad mood. Normally, it would be because of a day off or something but now it's because of Aichi that her bad mood was gone... Are you falling, Kourin?

Asaka thought. And it was true. Normally, Kourin would be stressed from her Idol Work and only a day off or a break would cheer her up.

Suddenly, Kourin hugged Aichi and he hugged back. Asaka had a crazy idea.

She went near them and got her phone.

A flash appeared and the close friends were shocked.

"Got that pose!"

"Asaka!" Kourin stood up and chased her. But since she was wearing heels, she can't chase Asaka.

"That's what you get from wearing stilletos!" Asaka shouted from afar.

"They're not stilletos! They're just heels!" Kourin shouted back.

"Then how long are they?!" Asaka shouted again.

"4 and a half inches! Something wrong about that?!"

"Jeez! Why do you wear heels anyway if you can just wear sandals or doll shoes!"

"It's for a photoshoot with Suiko later! And give me your phone!" Kourin chased Asaka again.

With Suiko only? Nahh. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that I should run away from Kourin!

"Never in a million years!" Asaka ran away from her. They were like children on the park while Aichi was just staring at those two, chasing each other.

"Are those best friends really like that?" Aichi asked himself.

"Yes, they're always like that." A voice spoke behind him.

"Misaki-san.." Aichi said.

"Nee Aichi, tell me why are they chasing each other?" Misaki said. She was standing behind the park bench where Aichi was.

Aichi sighed. "Asaka took a picture and Kourin started chas-"

"Misa! Help me with that idol!" Aichi was cut off by Asaka's loud voice, not noticing that some are already staring.

Misaki sighed and she got Asaka's phone. Kourin started going to Misaki and Misaki glanced at the photo.

"So this is what Kourin is chasing Asaka for." She said to herself and dodged Kourin.

"What's wrong with this? It's adorable!" Misaki laughed lightly and returned the phone to Asaka.

"For you! For me it's embarrasing!" Kourin said to her when she approached Misaki and panted.

"Your fault for hugging him in public!" Asaka said from afar.

Kourin glanced at her watch.

"Got to Go!" Kourin said and ran to get her bag.

"Isn't it tiring being an idol?" Misaki asked Kourin.

"Shh! I don't want to know that I'm here!" Kourin shushed her as she ran away.
