A/N: Canon divergence

It was a while as you sat there looking out across the water, your ears picking up noises of the sea animals moving. You heard feet walking across the wooden walkways and when you turned around to greet the family you were surprised that it was only Ronal and Tonowari. You watched as Ronal's eyes widened with her chin lifting a bit looking surprised to still see you there.

"I can leave if needed to be." You stood up ready to exit when you were stopped by her voice 

"I didn't expect you to still be here." You looked at her amused with your head tilted and a small smile 

"You told me not to move until you came back." You hovered waiting for anything but, when nothing was said, you asked a question. "Uh, if you don't mind me asking...who were the visitors?" They shared a look, looking back at you with Tonowari answering 

"They were Navi from the Omaticaya clan asking for uturu." Your eyes widen at that. What happened? Who was it? "Toruk Makto and his family." your jaw dropped, tail wagging in shock and happiness. 

"JAKE IS HERE?! NEYTIRI!, LO'AK, THE KIDS!" Your loudness surprised them but, you were too excited "I have to see them, where are they?" You were bouncing from foot to foot waiting for an answer ignoring how they seemed to observe you. 

"We will take you." They easily could have told you but, whatever. They are Tsahik and Olo'eyktan. You took a deep breath to calm your nerves but, you couldn't help it. You haven't seen them in a month! What made them come here? Was it the RDA again? You thought they had disappeared ever since they destroyed the home tree. You walked precariously beside them, itching to run but, not wanting to be disrespectful at the same time. 

"They are in there." One point and you took off not having the self-control to keep from doing so. When you got to the Marui with a shaky hand you pulled back the privacy curtain to a beautiful sight. Tuk is on top of Kiri with Spider and Lo'ak talking with Neteyam and Jake and Neytiri with their backs turned. The first one to see you was of course Tuk. Her loud gasp brought everyone's attention to the front and pure chaos happened. 

"Y/N!" You were tackled by Tuk followed closely by Kiri, Spider, and Lo'ak. Hugs, head rubs, kisses, and weird noises but, you missed this. You missed them. You missed them so much. Kiri moved just enough for Neteyam to grab you from behind and lay his entire body weight on top of you. Asshole. 

"Neteyam, you're heavy!" He gave a dramatic sigh putting more weight making Tuk scream in delight. Eywa, you missed them so much. There was no such thing as personal space, they were in it. They haven't done this in so long, you loved them so much.

"Y/N." You turned to Neytiri with a smile. The kids moved enough for you to get up and tackle Neytiri who grunted at impact but, allowed you to wrap yourself around her. "How are you? I didn't think you would be here. It's been a very long time. Have you been eating? Are you okay?" There she goes being a mother. 

"Quit hogging her." That was all the warning you got when Jake snatched you up, hugging you to his chest, your tails intertwining before letting go. Your tail ended up intertwining with Neytiri's while the kids talked all over each other almost in your face. The Marui was big and yet all eight of you were on one side on top of each other almost. At the clearing of a throat, all of you turned to the entrance to see Ronal and Tonowari staring at the scene. Jake and Neytiri moved not at all bothered by the rest of you. Neteyam stood up being the future Olo'eyktan of the Omaticaya people and bowed respectfully. Lo'ak, Kiri, Spider, and Tuk were all too comfortable staying right on top of you listening to what needed to be done. Tuk loudly protested being away from you after just getting you back.

"Don't worry Tuk, you're going to really like Tsireya, she's sweet and really good at teaching. Why don't we go meet her outside, yeah?" You didn't wait for her to respond, getting up with Lo'ak and Spider who surprisingly grabbed your hands but, you weren't about to complain to follow you to meet Tsireya. You saw the way Lo'ak looked at her, it was cute honestly. Once outside, and the introductions are done you watched as everyone dispersed as you followed Jake to the waters. Of course, he wanted to ride a Tsurak first which is stupid but, you two are known as the skxqwng duo back home. You were going to do it with him and besides Ronal did say you were ready for a Tsurak. You went into the water with him. 

"I'll ride on one with him." The looks that Tonowari and Ranari gave you almost made you laugh but, you stayed strong. The two of them reluctantly got a Tsurak each for the two of you. You know a spectacle was going to be made of the two of you but, at least you two were in it together. You needed help getting on yours and once on top, you can feel the difference between the Tsurak and Ilu. Yours was very impatient as you got moved side to side roughly watching out the corner of your eye Jake struggling. You feel he should have exercised his breathing and other things first but, damn was he stubborn and determined. Your Tsurak was trying to be calm but, was reacting to the Tsurak Jake was on. "Jake for the love of Eywa we both going to go flying." Jake was hissing with impatience.

"Yeah, just like old times." That was the last straw and two of you flew with the Tsurak. The five grown men couldn't hold them anymore and watched in exasperation as Jake instantly flew off of his and you managed to stay on for a minute more before being sent flying. Once in the water, you oriented yourself so you can break the surface, almost screaming when the Tsurak was in front of you again. You pat her head looking up to see Jake getting flung again. You managed to throw yourself on the Tsurak and before you could settle it took off with you screaming this time. Shit! It was diving. You gulped down the air, holding on for dear Eywa as she swam deeper, making a circle around the corals and letting you observe the beauty. Your heart was beating fast from the adrenaline and just as you calmed down your Tsurak got anxious again. You looked around and were shocked to see a juvenile Akula. HOW FAR OUT WERE YOU?! You and the Akula made eye contact and that was it. The chase was on. 

"Y/N's been under for quite some time." Jake was heaving having finally tamed the Tsurak after falling 8 times but, he got it. He hasn't seen you come back up after that Tsurak shot you out. 

"She is fine, she-" Ranari's compliment was cut off by, a loud noise. Everyone turned to watch in both awe and horror as the juvenile Akula sent you with your Tsurak flying sky high. You were screaming at the top of your lungs, a shrill sound. Your Tsurak forgot you were on her as it tried to get away in the air. The two of you landed hard back in the water with the Tsurak running back to the safety of the reef na'vi. It went too fast breaking the surface and sending you flying again into some rocks. You lay there contemplating life and praying for the world to stop spinning. You vaguely heard noises but, the world was lost to you as sound left and then your vision.

"Everyone out of the water!" Didn't have to be told twice as everyone left wary of a lone Akula hunting. Tonowari hurriedly got to you noticing how messed up the left side of your body was. He gently as possible grabbed you and made his way to Ronal with a worried Toruk Macto on his tail. "Please, Toruk Macto, the Tsahik will know what to do." Tonowari gave him a look he hope conveyed everything he couldn't say and thankfully Jake understood giving him room to make it to his mate. He didn't like the feeling of her blood running between his fingers. It shouldn't be there.
