A/N: Warnings for Ronal doing before thinking

Jake was absolutely seething. He had all the respect in the world for Tsahiks and Olo'eyktans especially since he is still learning and in fact, was Olo'eyktan of the Omaticaya people but, when Ronal placed his hands on Y/N twice he almost saw red. Of course, Y/N took it with zero complaints finishing what she had and taking the verbal and physical berating leaving as soon as she was let go. More like tossed out the Marui. He explained he has a plan and that was all he could get out without growling so to keep whatever little peace he has with Tonowari he left the Marui ears picking up on a hissing Ronal and Tonowari arguing. He needed to see Y/N, damn she moves fast. Once he made it back to his Marui he saw everyone pacing but, no Y/N

"She left. She gave us all hugs and kisses, took her weapons, and left." Neytiri was pacing, her tail whipping back and forth with anxiety and agitation. As much as he wanted to go and get her, talk to her, and see if he could somehow help her he knew he couldn't. He also couldn't tell Neytiri right now what happened between her and Ronal. 

"Let her be, we have more pressing matters right now." He didn't have time to concern himself with her, she will be okay and safe, and she is fine. He had to worry about his children and their safety. Quaritch was more concerned with him and he would attack his family first before even considering Y/N. So, he hoped.

"Sir." He turned to Neteyam and Lo'ak who were at attention and used to his military and strict ways. He knows he is strict, he knows he is rough but, it's the only way he knows how to keep them safe, especially Lo'ak and his safety triumphed over his happiness right now. As the family prepared, they were unaware of Y/N coming back on an Akula but, the reef na'vi noticed. 

"What the shit." Ranari was the first one to notice Y/N coming in quickly on top of an Akula. He couldn't tell if he wanted her or if he wanted to be her. First, she killed an Akula and now she tamed one? If this wasn't a sign from Eywa he doesn't know what is. He watched in unabashed awe as she pulled in stopping where he and many others were after being told the news of the sky people coming in. They were preparing and were not expecting her to come on an Akula. She stood there talking to it not even paying any mind to them.

"You see these people, they need to be protected, and the other reef Navi. Protect them from the sky people pretending to be us." You were too busy talking to the Akula not noticing Ronal coming up with Olo'eyktan trying to get to her in time. If you would have looked up, you could have dodged whatever she threw at you. You looked up and got hit right in the forehead making you wince as you looked at the jewelry thing she threw at you. You felt blood drip from your forehead.

"SO YOU THINK YOU CAN COME BACK ON A FUCKING AKULA AND ALL IS FORGIVEN!?" You honestly don't understand why she isn't directing this kind of anger at Jake. Maybe she couldn't and was directing it all to you. Who knows. You just stared at her blankly as she humiliated you in front of the entire clan. You learned to turn off your emotions so you took it thanking the military training back when you were a human and not a demon in Navi's skin as she told you. "YOU. MEAN. NOTHING. I HATE YOU. I HOPE YOU DIE YOU DEMON!" With that, she threw the two spears you gifted at her too fast for you to stop them fully. They pierced you but, only about half an inch in your skin but, it still bled and hurt. Once you had them in your lap you stared at her waiting for her to finish but, she didn't. Tonowari was there and it seemed whatever trance she was in was broken and she looked a little horrified at you. You understood though. You were a monster that brought this war to her home and you'll make sure everything precious to her is not lost.  

"I'll take my leave Tsahik. Olo'eyktan." You nodded your head ordering your Akula to turn and leave as he listened to you. When you turned and saw Metkayina blocking you, he growled which had them scattering creating a path for you. You'll fix your wounds later, you still had so much to do. You didn't spare Ranari a glance as he stared after you, they all did really. Once in open water you took a deep breath, held on, and told him to go back to where your Tsurak was past the reef. You didn't focus on the way your heart swelled with pain, how it felt empty, how she gave you back the gifts you made with love for her. She rejected you in every sense of the way and it hurt

"Turn that hurt into anger young one. Use your pain to fuel your hate and anger toward the sky people. Take it out on them. Show them why they should fear you and not just Toruk Makto." You knew he was trying to make you feel better and it was working. You appreciated the sentiment and took it into consideration. That should work. The sky people are to blame. They're the reason why you had to leave the forest, they're the reason the Omaticaya lost so many people and had to move, and they're the reason Tsu'tey, Grace, and Trudy are with Eywa. They're the reason why so many of Eywa's animals had to die. It's all their fault.  "That's right. It's their fault. You are a true Na'vi. You are not one of them. Do not listen to any skxqwng who says otherwise. I do not let demons or monsters on me. I will help. I will inform the other Akula to attack and kill any machines including the ones with sky people in them." You took a deep steadying breath trying to calm yourself before getting on your Tsurak knowing it will affect how she swims and could end up leaving you stranded. 

"I really lucked out getting you Kentu. You're a blessing." You slipped off of him going to his eye to smile, hug him and place a kiss near his eye giggling when he let out a pleasant rumble. You can't believe your luck that you actually tamed an Akula and he likes you. "Take care Kentu and try to stay alive. I like you." He seemed to have smirked, eyes having mirth in them 

"I like you too little one. Stay alive and well." With that farewell, he was off, greeting your Tsurak who was coming to get you. She went under you and floated up making sure you were comfortable with her. She liked doing that when she noticed sometimes you struggled to get on her or other Tsuraks for that matter due to you being rather short for an adult na'vi.

"Thanks pretty, now let's go we got a war to prepare for." You thought back to all your training, the RDA cherished you because of your skills, you were part of special forces black ops and killed many people before being sent to Pandora where you killed even more. You have killed so many people you lost count and even though it's been years you still remembered everything as well as your body. That's why you can turn off your emotions, that's why you can handle pain. You were used to it but, now you had a reason to channel years of pent-up rage, aggression, sadness, and every single negative emotion you failed to express properly. You were going to kill as many of them as you can until you die. 

"I don't want you to die Y/N" You shrugged your shoulders at her words but, still managed to comfort her not wanting to say what you really felt despite the bond the two of you had.

"I will try my best." The rest of the ride was silent as you made it back to the beach but, in a more secluded area not in the mood to face the wrath of the Tsahik and Olo'eyktan. You needed supplies, food and to make weapons. You also needed to get your communicator once you were done. Your Tsurak beached you and left afterward stating she will return when needed. Now that you were by yourself you allowed your mind to wander as you walked the mangrove forests. You collected berries, fruits, and herbs first placing them in a pile, and then with your hunting knife started cutting down leaves, barks, and twigs so you can make your weapons. You can also steal one of Jake's guns as well. You were thinking about how you were going to attack them, can Jake convince them to fight? You sure hope so, Ronal's ferocity is more than enough proof that she can fight, and if the clan was as ferocious? They can do this. You collected a few more items and were about to set out to work but, figured feeding your Ikran wouldn't hurt. You stood up making a series of clicks and caws hearing her happy shriek as she came crashing through the canopy. You haven't seen her in a while and you missed her. You had fruit and some small animal-like insects for her which she was more than happy to eat. You got near her connecting your kuru to her so you can talk 

"Finally, it's been so long since we last talked. I missed you, talking to Bob and the others gets boring sometimes. Tell me everything!" You forgot how talkative and clingy she is which is something you didn't realize you needed at the moment. The two of you sat for a while just talking to each other and eating. She talked about everything she saw and you told her about the sky people, what Ronal did, how you've been getting treated honestly. No one actually knew how bad they treated you, the snide remarks, the tripping, the giggles but, it's whatever. "Why do you care about these people then? Fuck them! Let them die since they want you to die so badly!" You let her have her temper tantrum tearing up the trees and grass until she calmed down enough to lay down next to you with a huff. "You have a heart of Gold you know that? I know you did a lot of things you're not proud of but, you're more than that. You are more than just a number and your past. I'm proud of  you and I'm glad you're the one I chose." You stared at her, really stared at her before engulfing her in a hug with her chirping and cooing happily. The two of you stayed like that for a long time just enjoying each other's company. She decided to leave you alone after a while promising to stay near in time of the war "Be safe going back to the village, I'll protect you with you my life." With one last click, she was off leaving you to your own devices. You sat down at peace now to finish eating. You had a few fish for dinner so as the sky darkened and you had 3 more knives and an extra spear you made a fire to cook the fish. After you finished eating you decided to head back to the Marui. It was dark so you glowed in the dark, your freckles and eyes built for the dark. In no time you were back at the family Marui saw no fire which is good. You quietly made your way to the Marui aiming to be quiet and go to sleep but, were stopped by a hand on your arm yanking you to the side towards the trees.

"Where the hell have you been all day?" Your eyes focused on seeing Jake piercing gaze on yours. He was speaking English so you knew he was pissed. 

"I rode an Akula, and disappeared with my Ikran making knives and a spear as well as eating lunch and dinner." You were in no mood to argue wanting to just sleep and rest. You were going to need it for tomorrow, something in your gut was screaming at you that tomorrow something was going to happen. 

"Well while you were on your little adventure, I got the Tsahik and Olo'eyktan to agree to fight with us. We are lucky the Tsahik is forgiving." It took every single cell in your body to keep from making a face let alone moving so you simply nodded and went off to the Marui to get some sleep. You really needed it. Jake followed you and once you were settled in the far back corner he went to sleep. You hate to admit that it took you a while to go to sleep but, when you finally did you were out like a light.

The next morning when you woke up, the Marui was empty and it was bright out. Why didn't anyone wake you up? Stretching you saw a plate out silently thanking Neytiri for it and ate it quickly taking time to enjoy the quiet even though your mind was a storm. You saw your neck communication device and decided no harm in checking in on Norm

"Norm sweetie it's Y/N-" You were interrupted by a frantic Norm answering

"Y/N! Aren't you with Jake? What's going on?" Now you were confused, what was he talking about?

"Darling, what are you talking about? I was just wondering if you were able to fuck up the coms for Quaritch?" You heard shuffling in the background

"Yes! Yes! We were highly successful and he has no idea it was us he was responding to. Leave it to us, however, that's not the issue here!" You were getting worried and agitated now as you paced the marui back and forth. 

"Tell me Norm. What's wrong I don't know anything" His next words had your heart in your throat and grabbing all your weapons sprinting with all your might to the water

"He has the kids Y/N! He kidnapped Jakes and the Metkayina leader's kids!"
