You were nervous beyond belief when the next day came. You knew the peaceful life that you once knew was going to come to an end with the persistence of the sky people, with the persistence of Quaritch. You were told by Jake and Neytiri before that they came here because the sky people had found them and tried to take Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuk but, they got them back in time. You were confused about how a dead man is alive and that's how you found out about the recoms, they were permanent Avatars. Now here you were having left the Marui even before Jake and Neytiri were up to sit at the beach near the Marui and contemplate how the fuck you were going to tell them this horrendous news. You knew Ronal would think with her emotions especially since she was pregnant, Tonowari would probably want everyone to leave and it'll be up to Jake to convince everyone to fight. Eywa help you. 

"Baby girl?" You yelped almost jumping out of your skin at a voice behind you. You turned quickly disturbing the sand and water with your quick movement to look up at the very concerned eyes of Jake. You didn't expect him to be up, where was Neytiri? "What's wrong, I woke up and you weren't there, it's too soon for you to be awake." You just shook your head but, you had to tell him. Today was the day and you can already hear Ronal's voice for not telling you yesterday. "Y/N you're worrying me, you're crying." You turned to him when he used his thumbs to wipe away your tears. You took a deep shuddering breath and focused on his eyes.

"The sky people are here." His entire body froze, jaw locked, hands stopped moving on your face as you continued speaking "The Tulkuns told me and Roa made me promise not to say anything until today. They promised me that they were taking other canals and ways to migrate until the sky people are dealt with. I have to tell Tsahik and Olo'eyktan." It was quiet, your eyes having drifted close mid-spiel. You gathered the courage to open them again to see Jake looking tired, and exhausted. You understood. You understood all too well. You were right along Jake, you're a target as much as Jake was. Quaritch was pissed that the two of you chose Pandora and the Navi over your own species—hateful bastard.

"I will be with you to explain what needs to be done." No longer was the caring Jake, that was replaced with a military sergeant mentality. The one you saw 15 years ago, the one that was in the forest, and the whole reason why they were here for uturu. The two of you sat on the beach waiting for the sun to rise a little more before heading back to the Marui to give the bad news. You weren't even hungry anymore but, you were going to force yourself to eat some fruit at least. When you and Jake returned, Neytiri was up and so was everyone else eating breakfast. With your head down you grabbed your plate forcing yourself to eat whatever she made even though all you wanted to do was vomit from anxiety. 

"What is the matter Ma Jake? Y/N?" You already missed the Ma in front of your name but, that wasn't the time to dwell on it now. After swallowing what you had in your mouth your eyes met hers 

"The sky people are here." You shook your head at her sharp inhale "The Tulkuns specifically, Roa and Tonowari's Tulkun, have told me as well as the other clans. They told me to tell them today and to prepare." It was tense and you wished that the sky people would just leave you guys alone. It was only a matter of time before they found you guys though, at the very least the Tulkuns will be safe. What words can be said? The rest of breakfast went by silently, tense. You already knew what was going to happen. Neytiri and Jake had a silent conversation while you waited by the entrance for Jake to come with you. Once you felt his presence you made your way to the Tsahik and Olo'eyktan's marui. The first thing he had told Jake was to not bring their war here and yet they were found. At least the other clans were warned before the sky people touched down. Before you knew it you were in front of the Marui, nervous beyond belief

"No fear Y/N" You felt his hand squeeze your shoulder almost painfully as if it ground you. It didn't but, whatever. You announced your presence by seeing Ronal and Tonowari. They went to greet you with smiles but, when they saw the grim looks on your faces, they knew something was deeply wrong.

"What is wrong?" You breathed knowing yesterday was the last time you'll be spared any kindness from the two in front of you.

"The sky people have returned. Yesterday when the Tulkuns came your spirit sister Roa and the Olo'eyktan's spirit brother informed me and asked me not to tell you until today. They have-" You were cut off with a sharp slap, nails and all to the face. She had really strong forearms. You moved your face back to look at her ignoring the way your nose bled from the force of the slap. 

"DEMON!!" You 100 percent expected that and didn't flinch when she dug a nail painfully into your chest. Not even a wince. "ROA WOULD NEVER! DON'T LIE ON HER! YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THE PEOPLE AND YOU NEVER WILL BE! YOU ARE NOTHING!" Her voice carried and you knew people outside the Marui heard. You tried not to let the hurt show on your face. 

"They have informed other clans and are going the opposite of their migration" She ignored her mate and you put a hand out to Jake signaling for him not to do anything. She was simply protecting herself and her people. 

"I DON'T BELIEVE YOU DEMON!!" In a swift motion, she had her hand around your throat and lifted you up to her level. She was strong when angry. " I SHOULD HAVE NEVER LET YOU IN. YOU BROUGHT NOTHING BUT TROUBLE! STAY AWAY FROM EVERYONE YOU MONSTER. I SHOULD HAVE LET YOU DIE ON THAT DAMN BEACH YOU SKXQWMG! YOU'LL NEVER BE ONE OF THE PEOPLE, YOU ARE NOT A TRUE NAVI. YOU ARE A DEMON WALKING AMONG US. OUT OF MY SIGHT BEFORE I KILL YOU NOW" Her nails left deep grooves in your skin as she pushed you back sending you flying. With a tuck and roll, you were back on your feet, and walking back towards the Marui you stayed thinking of a plan. If you focused on the pain in your heart from such a rejection and look of betrayal you'll crumble. There was no time to crumble. You needed actions. They'll be here any day now. You ignored the stares and whispers making it to your Marui in record time. The first course of action was to inform Norm. 

"This cannot be good if you're calling me in the middle of the day Jake-" You cut him off needing to get your point across

"It's not Jake, it's Y/N. Listen the sky people have returned and are making their way here to the Metkayina. I need you to intercept their communication devices to prevent them from calling for backup. Change your coordinates, and make them believe you're back up and that they're coming. I believe in you Norm, I always have sweetie. I love you, Y/N out." You weren't sure if you were going to ever see Norm again, you weren't sure of anything so you said that just in case. You wanted him to know you always had a love for him. You were wasting precious time, every second and minute counted. You went into the Marui and saw all the kids still there with Neytiri. 

"What happened to your neck?" Oh, you forgot having ignored the sting. You grabbed a prepped healing salve and spread it across your neck. You picked up Tuk squeezed her and placed kisses all over her face before placing her back down.

"Nothing important, I have to go your father is coming to explain everything." You hugged the rest of them, placing kisses on their foreheads, ignoring their confused looks, and squeezed Neytiri's arm as you grabbed your knife and spears heading straight for the water. You didn't want to tell anyone what you were doing because they would stop you. What you were planning was ludicrous but, you knew you can do it. If you can kill an Akula by yourself why can't you tame one?

"You're crazy. You're actually crazy and I am crazier for going with you" You will admit you're amused at your Tsurak's ranting but, you had to agree. Only someone desperate enough will attempt what you're attempting today. You're going to succeed though, fuck an attempt you're going to do it.

"I need too beautiful. I need to. The Akula will be important in what I'm planning and if any animal hates sky people it's them." No more was said as the two of you went to Akula territory and you stopped listening out. For such large creatures, they knew how to camouflage themselves in crystal clear water just like the reef Navi do. Taking a deep breath you went under with your Tsurak to look around, you strained your ears and eyes to see or hear anything. You weren't going to give up, too much was at stake for you to just give up. Urging your Tsurak to the surface you tried a call. You heard the Akula use it and in your spare time would practice it and now you were thanking Eywa that you practiced what used to be a useless tic. It was guttural and came from your stomach and chest as it reverberated through the air. 

"Let me try" You listened to your Tsurak try to mimic it to its best ability with a higher pitch that stretched wider than yours did. You waited and when you were going to do it again that's when you saw it, you saw a ripple and then a small wave. This was it. You were determined, confident, and a little scared. You couldn't afford to get injured the Tsahik wouldn't heal you and Neytiri and Jake will be too busy. With this thought in mind, you were more than determined to do this "WE ARE INSANE!" With that final cry, your Tsurak bolted forward to the approaching Akula startling it enough that your Tsurak shoved you at it and you got on its back but, of course, it wouldn't be that easy because it roared going up and slapped you upwards with its tail.

"FUCKING MOTHERFUCKER!" You landed back down on it, this time digging your knife into its tough skin and going to grab its antennae. It had three but, there was no time to think as you grabbed your tswin and attached it to its antennae. Immediately you were assaulted with blind rage that had you gasping as you tried to push as many calming emotions and feelings as you can into the bond. It screeched with rage destroying coral and disturbing sand bars but, you weren't one to give up. You were doing this for yourself, the Sullys, and the Metkayina clan. Finally, after fighting for what felt like hours but only minutes it had calmed down. You sighed, taking the knife out of its back with relief. 

"Care to explain to me why in the fresh fuck you are on my back?" You were completely blindsided by the voice in your head looking around to see who the hell that was before realizing it was the Akula below you. Since when it knew human words?

"I wanted to tame one, there's an upcoming war with the sky people and I needed your help." He let out a growl but, you weren't worried. At the very least he won't kill you or your Tsurak who was standing on guard stuck between swimming away and wanting to get you. "You do not have to stay with me if you wish not to. I only ask that when the sky people come you help me. If you wish not I will get off of you and we will never see each other again." You waited patiently for him to make up his mind praying to whoever is listening that he agrees. 

"For some reason, I feel inclined to help. Maybe it is your spirit that rings true with your words. I will get more of my brothers and sisters to help. They are both younger and much more vicious than I am. They will know not to hurt the true Na'vi." You wanted to cry in absolute joy. Eywa was helping you the way she helped Jake back in the forest. 

"Thank you, thank you, thank you. You're a gentle giant, thank you." You didn't know what to call him and you felt that a pet name would be too much for him. 

"Call me Kentu"
