Returning back to the Saucer was a strange concept, it wasn't even that long ago that they were all here, having fun and playing around; being back now, with the sole purpose to find Dio and any traces of the keystone just hung over everyone. The bright lights, the happy faces of workers and visitors alike seemed slightly hollow now, not so inviting to join in with the entertainment which was present.

"Well, it would be a shame if we didn't have some fun at least, right?" Yuffie was almost bouncing beside Nelly, she even went as far as nudging her arm against the yellow eyed woman beside her. "Plus! You owe me a rematch!" Yuffie pointed a finger this time firmly in Nelly's face, she just sheepishly smiled and waved her hand away. So, even if she didn't want to, it seemed like Nelly was being roped into a Battle Brawlers game. She fluked a win once, and Yuffie just wasn't going to drop it, her friend was a sore loser, unfortunately...

"At least try to look like we're here for a reason," Nelly whispered to Yuffie, the ninja girl pouted and rested her interlocked hands behind her head. She did nod, clearly listening to Nelly but also with how her brown eyes were looking over the welcoming brightly light foyer, Nelly got the feeling she wasn't wholly listening to her. Nelly sighed and hung her head and looked down when Cait patted her sympathetically on the leg.

"Exactly," Cloud had heard the pair talking, more Yuffie than Nelly, the younger female was not exactly an expert on volume control. "We should split up to look for Dio."

"Sure! Will do," Yuffie even turned and saluted back at the blonde, the wide smile on her face slipping for a moment to look like she intended to do that straight away.

"If I catch you goofing off, so help me, I'll..." Barrett said, his voice sounding more menacing and serious than what he may have intended. But even if he intended to be serious and get Yuffie on track to finding the director, all he succeeded in was her letting out a startled noise.

Nelly side stepped, Yuffie was off with Barrett trailing after her, his boots making heavy echoing sounds, she just smiled and watched them go. Well, it seemed like he intended to try and keep her on track, but honestly, Nelly was wondering how long it would be until Yuffie managed to give him the slip. After all, she could make a doppelganger of herself, Nelly was actually expecting that to happen, the clone could stick with Barrett while the real her was off having fun. She actually imagined the real Yuffie springing up and pulling her towards the games.

Maybe to avoid that, she'd stick with someone. Tifa and Aerith were already walking off talking amongst themselves, Cloud was having a conversation with Cait and Nelly jumped forwards and walked between Cid and Vincent with a smile. Cid naturally just grinned back; he was enthusiastic to be here, Vincent as ever was silent; though his red eyes were looking about at everything, Nelly didn't know when he was last here, but the way he was observing everything she guessed some things had definitely changed.

"Where are you going to go first, Cid?" Nelly asked, her hands resting against the tops of her swords. Not that she needed her weaponry here, but it was always nice not to have to relinquish them for some such reason. It wasn't like she was going to just swing them about and endanger strangers. She'd only use her swords if she needed to.

With a hand to his chin, Cid looked at the small group of dancing people and grinned again. "A bar with some racin' sounds great." There were moogle maps dotted about everywhere, so it was easy for him to find the destination he wanted. "How about you?"

"Well, I guess I have to make it not so obvious that I'm going to go find Yuffie so..." Nelly trailed off and eventually rolled her eyes up at their silent companion. "Where are you going, Vincent?"

Cid could look over the top of Nelly with ease, being taller than her, but both of them looked Vincent's way and saw his dark eyebrows pull together in a frown. He shut his eyes, there was a quiet sigh before his gaze drifted in their direction. Both of them just watched him patiently, Vincent looked around again and shook his head, "Somewhere quieter than here."

Cid laughed, the noise got lost in the sounds of the space around them, the music especially drowned his laughter out. Even Nelly looked at Vincent sympathetically then, she didn't laugh over Vincent's suggestion, though she did think he was being optimistic. "Yeah, sure, good luck with that one." Cid waved a hand their way and pointed towards the nearest travelator, "That's my cue, have fun, kids, don't get into trouble." He darted off, waving a hand behind himself as he went, his form was soon lost amongst the small group of people who were also going his way.

Nelly sighed and looked slowly up at Vincent, "So...kid, what do you want to do?" She smirked, it shouldn't amuse her, what Cid said, but it did. Although Vincent didn't wish to admit how old he was, alluding to being older than he looked was the best anyone was clearly ever going to get; however, Cid calling him kid, despite of this, was amusing to her.

Vincent let out a short sigh, his face lowering in his collar as he just glanced about them. "Let's just find Dio."

Nelly tilted her head and sighed too, "Vincent, do you honestly think that's what everyone else is doing? I mean, give me credit at least I'm trying to allude to finding Dio. Cid wasn't doing that!" She exclaimed and even waved to the distant travelator that the pilot had gone up. She had also admitted she'd find Yuffie if Yuffie didn't find her, but sure, she'll try and find the director. If she happened to have fun in between, then that was a win to her.

There was another frown appearing on Vincent's face which had Nelly throwing her hands up in the air in utter defeat. The Gold Saucer was a large place, Dio could be literally anywhere. He could be in one of the entertainment areas, and if he wasn't in one of them, then he could very well be in the backstage places where the workers dwelt; Nelly presumed the man had an office, much like anyone who was in charge of something, he had to have an office, she had no clue where that was.

"Only because Cid doesn't seem to want to find Dio, doesn't mean we follow suit." Vincent said slowly, earning a look to be shot up at him by Nelly. "You already came here, surely you did everything you wanted to?" He couldn't imagine all of his new companions having not made the most of the situation of being here. Much like the beach resort, they made the most there even when the visit was meant to be brief.

"That isn't the point." Nelly huffed, even if Vincent was onto something, she was going to disagree. Eyeing him up, she reached over and poked him on the arm. The action had Vincent slowly looking away from the bright lights, he looked confusedly down at her. "Maybe you're allergic to fun?"

Tilting his head slowly, Vincent just stared at her for a long and hard moment. He honestly didn't know what to say, and Nelly just poked him on the arm again before turning away from him and walking towards the nearest moogle map. This place was massive, though travelators and stairs connected everything together, it was still a confusing layout. She was more surprised people didn't get lost here more often, it was very easy to get turned around. She'd rather try and single out an area on the map and go from there, or else, much like everyone else, they would be wandering about aimlessly.

Tilting her head and tucking hair behind her ears, she sighed and looked up when the sounds of metal reached her ears. Vincent's tall frame staring so blankly at the moogle map chatting about made Nelly smile, he looked both confused and weirded out by it moving and waving its arms about. "Maybe we should've stuck with Cait?" She offered; his eyes looked slowly her way as Nelly shrugged simply. "He knows this place. Surely, he'd know where Dio is likely to be?" It made sense to her, Cait did work here, after all.

Vincent shook his head slowly, the action making his long dark hair sway down his back as he looked away from the moogle and up at the nearest staircase. Gesturing a gauntleted hand that way, Nelly just sighed. So, they were going to aimlessly wander, it seems. Don't get her wrong, it wasn't like Vincent wasn't easy company, even with the stoicism he gave off, she still felt comfortable spending quiet walking time with him. She'd just rather not have to go between all the entertainment sections until they found Dio.

"Vincent?" Nelly tucked her arms behind her back and looked at a small group of teenagers taking photos in front of some neon lights. They seemed to be having fun, which made her smile slowly. As usual, he didn't reply but he did look down at her slowly. "I don't know what you find as fun, if you find anything fun, nor do I know when you were last here; if much has changed, or not a lot, but there is Queen's Blood here, and you seem to enjoy that."

There was a sigh, Vincent's red eyes looked away from her and around themselves, honestly even after looking at the map and remembering where most things were, he didn't actually have much of a clue as to where they were right now. Seeing a sign, they were near Wonderment Square and Ghost Square, the area Cid was looking for was literally just across the way from them. Vincent did wonder if the pilot had situated himself somewhere to enjoy a race, but then knowing Cid, he probably wasted no time in doing just that.

"You want to find Yuffie."

"What? No, I'm trying to find something for you to do that you'd enjoy. There is a tournament sort of thing there, you win stuff, last time I was here, it was where Nanaki was hiding out..." Nelly shook a hand in the hand and laughed quietly. The slow turn of Vincent's head just made her blanch and laugh nervously again. From the look alone, he sort of figured out she was trying to push him to socialise with someone else, other than herself. The pair had already had a game, both seemed to enjoy playing the card game against each other, Nelly saw this was a win, plus, Yuffie was likely to be in the same place so to Nelly, it was two birds with one stone.

But Nelly stuck by what she had already said, she doubted highly that others weren't also enjoying some of the games which were present. Yuffie made no secret, and Cid really wasted no time ditching them and going off to watch some chocobos. Everyone was doing it, having another minor slack off, so why couldn't they? Although, the bright lights hurt Nelly's eyes most times, everything was so flash and bright here, regardless of any lights that strobed, maybe actually being in such a place pained Vincent?

After all, the man had spent how long in a basement, in the dark? Nelly pouted, but then that pout slowly turned to a wry smile and she tried covering a laugh up with a cough which had Vincent just frowning confusedly at her. Excuse her for musing whether to find somewhere to get him some sunglasses, heck, Rude always had a spare, they were both Turks, share and share alike, right?

Actually, there was something about Vincent potentially knowing the Turks which had so far plagued them in this journey which made Nelly's stomach plummet. Sure, it didn't seem like Vincent had much loyalty to the company he worked for, or used to, that was another thing which had Nelly frowning; was Vincent still technically employed by Shinra?

Letting out a pain groan, she fisted her hands against her temples and dug in. Vincent just raised an eyebrow; he didn't have a clue what was going on there. However, she did look suddenly pained. "You're going to give yourself a headache." He merely stated, watching her almost deflate, but she did nod slowly, he was at least glad she registered doing that to her head would hurt.

Nelly was more nodding agreeing with the heavy thinking would hurt, not the temple rubbing with some serious passive aggression. Stopping suddenly, her boots making the slightest of scuffing sounds as she did so, she looked over to the brightly lit entranceway of Wonderment Square. Pointing in that direction, she merely tilted her head at the deep blue lighting and colour of the travelator. Vincent may have clearly wanted to avoid them, he seemed more than up for using stairs, that Nelly couldn't see a way around it this time, he'd need to go on.

Maybe there was a reason why he was avoiding them? She slowly backtracked, keeping her eyes on him and watching as his eyes slowly narrowed in return. Nelly got the feeling he was not a happy bunny, but she smiled and even waved his way when she was travelling backwards along the glowing track. Vincent seemed to debate for a moment before following suit and Nelly put a hand over her mouth, there was a slight breeze which was generated here, being in the gear he was, Nelly soon realised that the travelator plus the breeze caused a little havoc with his cloak.

She shouldn't laugh or find it funny, but he just narrowed his eyes at her as if daring her to. Nelly walked towards him, no one else had come on between her leaving and him stepping on. She crossed her arms loosely, "You could've said," she stated, the collar remained the same, but his long hair and cloak were pushed about a little by the motion of travelling. She marvelled a little how none of the cloak wrapped around his long legs, or hair got in his eyes, but it didn't mean the motion which was being inflicted on him didn't irk him a little. All in all, Vincent looked uncomfortable here.

He just tilted his head and looked down at her, Nelly just looked wide eyed up at him expecting an answer, she let out a dramatic noise when all she got was him sighing and shutting his eyes clearly wishing this travelator would come to an end and quickly. He didn't have to stick with her, they were, after all, meant to all be trying to find Dio, regardless of the fact that nearly all of them were probably enjoying some of the games again. He could've gone off on his own to look for the broad, muscular director.

Perhaps he didn't, because he actually wanted to stay with her? Nelly didn't know, Vincent was a mystery half the time, him barely speaking didn't help matters either. "Vincent? We usually stay at the hotel in Ghost Square, if you didn't want to come with me, you could've gone there." Although now thinking about the haunted mansion and the graveyard in its grounds, Nelly's eyes looked him up and down before relenting and squeezing shut.

Why is it he'd look right at home in that scenario? She almost hit a hand to her forehead, poor Vincent didn't have a clue how conflicting he could be, but he reached out and held onto her shoulder when the travelator came to an end, Nelly didn't realise because she was lost in thoughts again and almost stumbled back. She took a few awkward steps back, his hand still on her shoulder as he followed and left the tunnel too. Sheepishly smiling at him, she turned and dramatically waved an arm around.

Sure, Cait was going to be a better guide, but she did her best and pointed to the obviously marked games which were present before hearing her name being shouted. Well, there was Yuffie...standing at the Battle Brawlers station, feet rooted to the spot, one hand on her hip the other pointing her way and her expression looking really quite determined. Nelly laughed, so she did give Barrett the slip after all, honestly that probably happened after a few seconds of the taller male walking after her, Yuffie was very quick.

"Go," Vincent just glanced between the pair, he did find himself frowning slowly though, how it is even from the entrance they could hear Yuffie shouting? He tilted his head and looked down at the female beside him, even Nelly winced a little, she puffed out her cheeks and exhaled slowly. All Yuffie was shouting about was how she's now mastered the game, how many she's already beaten since being back and how Nelly now stood no chance in beating her.

Even Vincent wasn't off limits, Yuffie was always up for a challenge and said that when Nelly was done and dusted, he was next. The blank look on Vincent's face had Nelly almost doubling over laughing, the absolute void that was his expression was clear and evident over how that was most definitely not going to happen. Even his usual bright eyes looked a little dimmer when he stood there stoically beside Nelly listening to Yuffie, even watching her jump about on the spot before she eventually ran out of steam, although not for long before shouting at Nelly to get over there.

Nelly slowly looked up at Vincent, she looked sad, sympathetic almost. "If I don't come back...you know where I'll be. But also, I'll try and keep her away from trying to get you to play. Red's over there, I doubt she'll bother you both if you're playing Queen's Blood, she hasn't the patience for that, just be thankful Fort Condor isn't here, she's pretty good at that!" Nelly said while waving a hand in the air as if that helped explain her words. She got a nod from Vincent though, though as he went to move around her, he stopped when she grasped gently onto his cloak. Nelly pressed her lips into a thin line before smiling, "Try and have some fun, Vincent. But remember, if you want to head back, Red will most likely go with you. He ends up burning himself out...very excitable that one," Nelly laughed gently, Nanaki was endless energy when he let himself go, it was actually really cute, Nelly found his teenage excitement so endearing. But it did also mean he hit a wall eventually, like anyone fuelled by excitement.

"Good luck," Vincent nodded towards Yuffie, Nelly looked over too, she was watching them and waiting, shockingly patiently.

"If...if she gets too into this revenge plan of beating me on this stupid game, I am coming over and hiding behind you." Nelly said with a shrug before swaying her hand, his cloak was still in her grasp and she let out a hum while looking the material over, "Actually, can I just hide in your cloak?" She laughed, the thing seemed to always be warping or changing, it was strange, deceptively it always appeared longer than it actually was.

Vincent's eyes widened at that one before looking at her hand and then shaking his head, Nelly let out a childish whine. She only stopped when she noticed his eyes were narrowed a little, tiptoeing she was endeavouring to see behind his collar, because she could've sworn, he was perhaps smirking, if not smiling over the ridiculous suggestion she had just thrown out. He was so much taller than her though so she failed in her task and instead felt his hand pry hers off of his cloak gently, with further gentle motions he turned her around and put her in the direction of Yuffie.
