"Do you think Lizzie will notice if there's only 39 red balloons but 40 green, blue, purple and orange balloons?" Josie asked, motioning the helium balloons that floated around the room, before Monica frowned. "Elizabeth Jenna Saltzman will absolutely notice if one red balloon is missing.. it's Lizzie, cmon Jo." The Montgomery spoke in response.

It had been two weeks since the group had returned from Europe, minus Ruby. The Waithe was returning today, and Monica was going to collect her from the airport along with Hope.

Tonight was the night of Prom, something the students had been really looking forward too, especially Lizzie Saltzman. The twins were in charge of decorating, though they were having a few minor issues.

"I've gotta head to the airport now, but um... all the best with finishing the decorations." Monica said, waving to the group before she walked away, her heels clicking as she left through the entrance.

Jordan and Lizzie approached Josie, with boxes of streamers in their arms. The pair linked their hands so Lizzie could siphon from Jordan. They then let go of their hands and casted a spell, that placed all of the streamers where they wanted. "Perfect." Lizzie said with relief.

After driving for some time, Monica pulled over at a gas station. "Alright, I'm gonna fuel up... can you get me some coffee?" The Montgomery asked sweetly. "Sure." Hope replied, before disappearing to a cafe beside the fuel station.

Monica started pumping petrol into the car, humming to herself as she waited for the petrol tank to fill. Suddenly the screens above the fuel pump, that were playing advertisements, turned to static. Dark clouds suddenly rolled in, making the sunny day turn suddenly very dull.

Monica looked around confusedly before looking into the window of her car, and seeing a tall reflection behind her, which caused her to jump in fright. "What the hell?" She blurted aloud, although when she glanced back at the window again the reflection of the man was gone.

But a voice started booming in her head...

"I need Jordan Montgomery... bring me Jordan Montgomery!"

Monica flinched, before quickly looking around to confirm that she was alone. "Listen... I don't know who the fuck you are and why you are inside my head, but you are not getting my brother... are we clear?" She hissed to no one in particular.

Suddenly, the advertisement screens that had been static-y, turned back to their original advertisements. The dark clouds drifted away, as the sun came back out. Monica looked around, even more confusedly. "What the hell was all of that about?" She wondered, finding it quite bizarre.

"Are you... talking to yourself?" Hope asked, approaching the taller girl. Monica closed the fuel cap, before turning to the Mikealson. "Hm? No. I'm not going crazy yet." She responded. "Yeah.. give it a few more years of being with Lizzie." The tribrid joked.

The blonde spun on her heels before walking into the service station, to pay for the fuel. Meanwhile, Hope got into the passenger seat as she sipped on her tea, before putting Monica's latte into a cupholder.

Jordan held a box of ingredients from the fridge, as he was about to make a punch, for the students. He walked into the gymnasium, where the setup was, and froze as he saw twelve students lying on the floor, lifelessly.

The Montgomery boy sucked in a sharp breath, and let out a scream before he dropped the box of ingredients on the ground, which shattered.

"Jordy?" Josie's voice called out, as Jordan looked back up, suddenly realising that the scene he had just witnessed was a vision. There were no harmed students in his line of sight.

"Jordy— are you okay?" Josie rushed over to her boyfriend, as he didn't answer her. He opened his mouth, to try and say anything, but struggled to make any words. "I... I don't know.. I think so." Jordan confessed, as Josie picked up the things that Jordan had dropped, before he came to his senses and helped her.

Josie frowned, "Babe, are you sure you're okay?" She asked once they had finished picking up the ingredients that didn't shatter. Jordan quickly placed a kiss on her cheek, "I will be." He assured her.

Monica held up a sign up that read, "Waithe Mutt". Hope read it and frowned before she set fire to the sign with magic. "Aah!" Monica panicked, throwing it towards the Mikealson before frowning at her. "You're no fun." She retorted as Hope just smirked at her.

Suddenly a familiar pink haired girl approached the pair, as she was bursting with energy. "Hope! Monica!" She chirped, before throwing her arms around Hope.

Hope had to practically catch a bouncey Ruby in her arms. She span her around, before finally kissing the hybrid. "I missed you so much." Hope said, looking into Ruby's eyes lovingly. "I missed you more." Ruby giggled.

"Gross." Monica huffed at the couple. "I missed you too, Mon." Ruby teased, before Hope lets go of her, and she bounced over to Monica, to embrace her. Monica hugged her back, as she wore a bright smile on her lips. Hope couldn't help but to smile at the pair of best friends.

"Cmon, we have to take you dress shopping." Monica said once pulling away from the shorter girl. "What, why?" Ruby asked. "Because," Monica clapped her hands together. "Tonight is prom night!"
