It was Commonwealth day.

Currently Hope and Ethan were helping out in the town square, but with Ethan needing to go, her gave Hope one last look. "If you ever want to see me... you should probably just ask me out." He said.

Hope felt an arm link with hers, belonging to Ruby. "Sorry Eth, this one's mine." She teased. Ethan just laughed awkwardly before he turned around and left.

"Aren't you technically seeing his sister?" Hope asked Ruby, puzzled. Ruby shook her head, "We had a fling but... we decided to end it after the summer." Ruby admitted to Hope.

Suddenly a hand came out from under the table and grabbed onto Hope's leg "Gah!" She blurted out as Ruby gave her girlfriend a confused look.

Suddenly, Lizzie's head popped out from under the table. "Don't gah me— get your asses under here!" She whispered harshly. Hope and Ruby shared looks of amusement before they climbed under the table, where they saw Monica also.

"Hey. Welcome to the party." Monica spoke sarcastically. Hope just looked confused before she asked loudly, "What are you guys doing!?"

"Looking for you! You were supposed to be keeping an eye on the portal to Malivore." Lizzie hissed. Hope shrugged, "I'm literally on top on it!"

"Not on top of it enough." Monica deadpanned as Hope returned the look. "A zombie snuck onto campus this morning." Lizzie reminded the trio. Ruby frowned, "I mean, are you sure it's from the portal? We've been here all night." She assured the Saltzman.

Monica snorted in amusement before she looked to Ruby and Hope "Well... being you both have been guarding the portal together after being separated for months, I can't imagine that too much guarding was actually being done." She teased as Ruby and Hope blushed. "No comment.." The Waithe mumbled.

"As for the zombie— It has the mark of Malivore carved into its skull. It's obviously from the portal." Lizzie said, answering Ruby's original question.

"Maybe you were too busy flirting with the muggle." Monica looked to Hope who frowned in response before she said, "I wasn't flirting. I was blending in."

"Well whatever we locked the zombie up, which means no more portal duty is required and we can all hang out today." Lizzie chirped. Hope raised an eyebrow, "Why is that last part harder for me to understand than all the rest?" She asked.

Monica laughed before she admitted, "If Lizzie spends any time with Josie, she will inevitably blow our secret." She confessed as Lizzie looked bashful.

Sebastian was on the run, MG had seen him leave the Salvatore school. The vampire had managed to get into Wade's head and used the boy to open the coffin.

Currently, Jordan along with Kaleb's sister Kym  walked through the woods, as they were on the look out for the pirate-vampire. The 600 year old vampire suddenly crept behind them, as veins popped out from under his eyes.

Jordan span around, then Kym followed. Kym held a spray bottle of vervain infused water in her hand, and quickly sprayed Sebastian.

"What is this sorcery?!" Sebastian cried out, as he covered his eyes. "It's called vervain I think. It's cool, right?" Kym answered as Jordan smiled at the Hawkins, "You did great!" He encouraged her before they both fistbumped.

MG and Kaleb raced over to the pair. "Told you this would work." MG said to Kaleb while the pair grabbed ahold of Sebastian. "Unhand me, you turnips. I had one drink."

Jordan crossed his arm, "Yeah, that drink's name was Wade." He answered. "I did not even kill your precious Wayne. Now unhand me before I damn—" Jordan simply clicked his fingers, as Sebastian's neck snapped and the vampire fell to the ground, unconscious. "Why'd you do that?" Kym blurted out in shock before she faced Jordan. "He threatened my friend. I don't like him." He simply said in response.

"Look.. I don't care how geeked out you are over Commonwealth Day. I'm putting you on the next bus out of town." Kaleb decided as he looked to Kym. "But I had this costume handmade!" Kym responded. "Yeah, don't even get me started on all the things wrong with you wearing that."

"I personally support a woman's right to wear whatever she wants." MG spoke up in total simp mode, as it was obvious he was trying to impress Kym.

"Stop trying to marsh my mellow, Kaleb. I'll leave when I'm good and ready." Kym huffed at her brother. Kaleb frowned before he responded, "Oh. I'll call Mom."

"I'll call Dad."

"I— Damn it."

Jordan and MG couldn't help but to laugh as the siblings argued. Kaleb turned to them, visibly annoyed. "Don't you got something else to do other than sit here and chime in on matters that don't concern you?"

"Yeah. Yeah. We're gonna grab Sebastian, and I'm gonna take him to Dr. Saltzman's office at the high school until Commonwealth Day's over. It's empty so no one should be there when he wakes up." MG explained as Jordan waved his hands, which caused Sebastian's unconscious body to float.

"We're going to have to carry him once we're in public eye though... otherwise this is going to look very weird." The Montgomery chuckled.

"By no one, you mean Lizzie, right? You haven't told her." Kaleb frowned at MG. "I was, I was gonna—" Jordan looked at MG now, "Dude, come on." MG sighed, "She's gonna be so pissed at me."

Kym suddenly piped up, "Is that the blonde from this morning?" MG nodded as he turned to Kym. "I sort of accidentally made her think she was having a psychotic break." Kym replied, "That's not gonna go well."

"I know."

"Anyway." Jordan grinned, "I call dibs on front row seats to watching her kick your ass... which she will." The Montgomery declared as MG sighed.

Sometime later, Lizzie called a super squad meeting. "Okay, squad. We have a problem, and we're down two witches because Josie's in Richmond for Commonwealth Day and Jordan left for Arizona after helping Kaleb and MG. Which is bad for us, because a Croatoan came through the portal. And it killed a councilman." Lizzie explained. "What the hell's a Croatoan?" Kaleb asked.

"Hold up. The lost colony of Roanoke. Seriously? Not one of you?" Kym asked as everyone remained quiet. "I'll play." Landon spoke up, as everyone looked to him. "Roanoke. It's one of the first English settlements in North America until it just vanished without a trace."

"And the only thing left behind was a word carved on a tree: Croatoan." Kym explained as the group stared at her. "What? I'm a history nerd. Why else would I be here for Commonwealth Day?" She asked as Kaleb sighed, "Uh I.. Ignore her. Her visitation privileges are about to be revoked."

Hope spoke up, "The monster is here, and it's after Landon, so we need to get him somewhere safe." Kaleb stopped her, "Okay um no offence, but why is some girl from Mystic Falls giving us orders?" And he was even more confused when he saw the way Ruby was looking at Hope... so lovingly.

"Oh, it's because she's a wolf."

"Because she's a witch."

Lizzie and Rafael, who had both spoken in unison, then looked at eachother in surprise.

"Well most importantly, she knows how to kill monsters." Ruby spoke up, before she looked at her girlfriend proudly. Hope gave Ruby back a loving smile, her sparkling. Rafael noticed this and gave the couple a confused look, unsure to why they were looking at eachother like that.

"That's so cool." Kym chimed.

"Wait, guys. What about the zombie? I thought Malivore could only release one monster at a time." Rafael reminded them. "Yeah. That's what we all thought." Monica spoke up, as she'd been unusually quiet. Kaleb scoffed before he looked to Monica, "How the hell do you know about Malivore?" He asked her. "Oh, I-I filled her in— Hope too!" Ruby quickly lied.

"Hope took down the Oni, and she killed the Minotaur. Although that was actually really more me." Lizzie declared as Landon asked, "Wait, wait. There was a Minotaur?" Lizzie deadpanned Landon before she said, "Yeah. Not everything's about you."

"All right. So, then, what's the plan, Miss were-witch and vampire?" Kaleb asked as he turned to Hope and Monica.

"I will babysit Landon while everyone else is at Commonwealth Day while Hope does her whole monster hunting deal." Lizzie suggested, "That is a great idea. And you know who should go with her? Rafael." Landon piped up. "I can help with research." Kym chirped as Kaleb interjected, "Yeah, from the safety of your hotel room."

"Okay." Ruby caught everyone's attention. "Super squad disassemble."

"Super squad." The group dispersed as Kaleb frowned, as nobody else did his hand thing. "No??"

Ruby, Hope, Monica and Lizzie left together as Lizzie piped up, "It's a good plan. It keeps you all as far away from Landon as possible."

"I'm less worried about us being with Landon than I am about you blowing my secret to him." Hope said as Lizzie shrugged, "Relax. I'll just ask him about Star Wars or something, and then he'll talk the whole time. You have nothing to worry about."

Ruby linked her arm with Hope's. "Cmon, let's go." She said before Hope smiled as they left. Lizzie then grabbed ahold of Monica's hand. "Ready to have your ears talked off?" She asked, as Monica sighed, "Totally." She replied, not at all enthusiastic.
